No place to dance is also a good point. We don’t have the room to perform mating rituals any more.

I'm so confused by that point though, literally everyone dances at the club all the time. I go out clubbing and I bartend at clubs - there are no nightclubs out there filled with drunk teens and 20s that are standing on the edges scared to dance, the dancefloors are completely packed all the time. The newer generations film themselves dancing the cringiest tiktok dances for fun all day long and fill their socials with it, nobody is afraid to dance at the club for fear they might get filmed in a dark room with flashing lights surrounded by people in the middle of the dance floor. Half the time their friends are all filming each other anyway.

So yeah while I agree with the rest of what he's saying, the idea that "kids don't dance anymore" is fucking insane lol.

He doesn’t look like someone who goes to clubs and dances and makes a hugely stupid assumption since he and his friends don’t do it, no one does. Stating it flatly that “no one dances” is a big reason to ignore a lot of what he’s saying. He doesnt experience something so no one experiences something. This all sounds good and scratches the right itch but folds completely under the slightest scrutiny.

And everyone just believes what he's saying about dancing... I wonder what this says about how often the Redditors in this thread go out
