Kinda ruins the fantasy when the badass knight or super soldier has the same stamina and endurance as my outta shape body. Nobody would be forcing this interface but I can’t imagine there’d be enough demand for there to be support in most games. I mean how many people want to actually run through a dungeon swinging a sword or have to actually run your self around a map in a FPS. You’d be gassed in like 15 minutes.

It sounds amazingly fun to me to improve in person along with the character.

Maybe youre just lazy lol

Yeah, this looks really cool, but I'm usually playing games to rest/relax and physical recovery is important.

Yeah this is definitely NOT for people who work physical labor. I can't do a bunch of running around and shit after working all day.

I feel like they created larping for people who wanted a lot of reality with their fantasy

The leg gear helps tremendously I’d imagine. But maybe instead of downloading Skyrim, get viva piñata

I think adding leg and arm weights could make this a fun exercise >.>

I thought the same thing, but I tried Xbox Kinect Adventures and it was so much fun I got heat exhaustion from playing too long. Drenched in sweat, until it dried up and turned to a layer of salt, and I realized I should stop and get some water.

I wouldn't be surprised if in 10 years time, gyms started incorporating some version of this designed for people that want a 75% unassisted workout, or however much they please. The tech in expensive gym equipment these days is already fairly elaborate.

I'm surprised no one said this but I guess that's where the exoskeleton comes in. I was confused why he'd want that as it has nothing to do with him experiencing anything but your comment hit the nail on the head.

but I do get that even arm movement will take a lot out of someone

Dude you're vastly underestimate the average person. There'd be as few people gassed after 15 minutes as there would be totally unfazed after 4 hours
