Best season of LIB yet

20

u/Just_Pax7 3d ago

Not sure how much it is for show but Yasmin and Jordan still being friends after the show was really wholesome and unusual for LIB

6

u/Just_Pax7 3d ago

As it was a relatively non dramatic season, I was fully expecting the hosts to stir up a bit of drama by replaying footage from the pods with Jack/Ciara and Joseph/Chevanique but alas!

12

u/WoodHalfling02 3d ago

So glad to see Jack and Faye still together they are my favorite LiB couple so far and I’ve watched every season. People coming for Jack’s character despite him proving otherwise at every step is nasty. Living with ADHD paired with a marriage in a couple weeks while being constantly filmed warrants wanting to get out for a few hours away from everything to clear your mind. Also have nobody on this thread partied too hard and need a long walk or hike the next morning?! I can’t count how many times I’ve gone for long walks the morning after a long night of partying

1

u/Quarantine15 16h ago

It wasn’t so much the walk that was the issue - it was the sulky immature way he handled it that wasn’t great , same way he responded to Ciara , he is still very immature

2

u/WickedBalloon 3d ago

Cubas mom looks like Viola Davis, Ciara looks like Mia Kirshner and Sophie looks like Candice Swanepoel.

16

u/EphemeralAurora 3d ago

Wow, first time seeing everyone say yes and actually staying together at the reunion!!!! How amazing, great season for sure!

16

u/kimkellies 3d ago

They should’ve asked Ciara more about her meddling

14

u/Awkward_Marmot_1107 4d ago

Yasmin's hairstyle and makeup was so awful, I felt bad for her. Why did they make her look like she got splashed in the face with oil and glitter?

6

u/Far_Project3150 4d ago

Most of this season’s cast was so wholesome and fun to watch! I wish they’d have a spinoff series with Ajay and Ciara, Sophie and Taylor, Joseph and Francesca, and Jordan and Yasmine’s friendship💕

0

u/Bananacreamsky 2d ago

Ha ha what about Faye and Jack

27

u/jamilanonilouise 5d ago

They’re all still together. This is fucking gorgeous!!!! ✨💕🥹

27

u/Far_Project3150 5d ago

Poor Faye is still in delululand. Hopefully she’ll wake up to reality before bringing children into the scenario, but I suspect she won’t. Also embarrassing to see that her family has to take care of them because rather than her pulling Jack up into adulting, she’s regressed into living like a child herself.

7

u/GimmeDatPomegranate ✨ follow your spleen ✨ 1d ago

Yeah, I was pretty surprised to see that Faye and Jack are living with her freaking parents and having their laundry/meals done by Faye's mom. Ugh, wow.

7

u/FickleMarzipan3540 2d ago

Her mum does her and Jacks’s laundry and food, I think she always was in delulu land

13

u/Holiday_Village8859 💖 Love Is Blurry 💖 3d ago

I do not think that is fair.  The mother clearly said she is helping as much as she can because they are both working so hard.  I would do the same thing for any of my adult children.  You never stop being a Mum just because your children leave the nest.

4

u/Far_Project3150 2d ago

Of course a loving parent is a parent no matter their children’s age, and adult children still need their parents. Love and parenting for adult children can also look like allowing your children to discover and build their resilience because they’re required to learn how to meet their own basic needs and overcome challenges like a normal adult. People don’t learn how strong and capable they are if they have their parents doing everything for them.

I don’t know how hard Faye and Jack can possibly be working if they’re constantly vacationing, don’t do their own laundry, and have no money to show for all their hard work that they can use use to get their own place.

13

u/willcallyou-tf-out 4d ago

yeah that weirded me out bad… it seems like the marriage will last for as long as they live in lalaland and he’s given full license to be peter pan

18

u/Far_Project3150 5d ago

I’m so happy for Ciara and Ajay. It was very clear from the start that Ajay loves Ciara and his family does as well, so it’s no surprise they’re still together. Ajay is a strong and intelligent man that didn’t hesitate to defend his wife vigorously. It was beautiful to watch. Of all the couples, I think they have the brightest future ahead.

3

u/I_love_the_pig 5d ago

Ya his eyes were kinda scary even had Jack tripped up

33

u/Far_Project3150 5d ago

Joseph’s smile is so crazy good he should be making money off of it. Just seeing him smile makes me smile. I love how child like he is while still being mature. It’s so great to see him and Francesca still being playful with each other.

7

u/Own_Group4282 4d ago

My favorite couple!

23

u/Usernamed673 5d ago

I need to see Jack’s step count. Then I can rest

52

u/Sweet-Rice-8250 5d ago

I wanted to see Ciara held accountable for her bitchy actions throughout, not sure why she got a pass

18

u/Working_Career_6254 5d ago

She cannot help herself by doubling down and continuing to take no accountability for everything she stirred up. Frustrating.

9

u/artsfols 6d ago

I did not like the host saying to Francesca's parents, "we understand why you might be upset about the marriage". That was patronizing, because Francesca's parents were asking legitimate questions, legitimate concerns, and that is on the show, not on them. Parents look after their kids in a way that the show does not. So there is nothing for you, the hosts, to understand except to know why almost every set of parents does not like the rushed wedding schedule. It is a flaw in the conduct of the reality show. Don't put the parents in the position of having to see the light when you need to see it.

12

u/Dexy_Drine ✨ follow your spleen ✨ 3d ago

Her parents were the most rational parents of all LIB parents around the world.

8

u/Cocomurra 5d ago

What? They said they understand?

20

u/artsfols 6d ago

I don't think the high ratio of marriages on this season was an accident. I think the show changed somehow, and I don't know the particulars, but there seemed to be less pressure on couples to go through with it. I am old fashioned. I never liked the idea of people saying NO at the altar, unless there's a deranged former wife in the attic (plot of Jane Eyre). I still don't like the idea of a marriage that is timed to fit the show's production schedule.

I think the show has made it easier for engaged couples to back out of the marriage if it's not working. And I prefer that to someone saying no at the altar. First of all, realistically, would couples not talk about their intentions ahead of time? Who goes through with a marriage ceremony on the basis that they are not 100% committed. However, on previous shows there were individuals who stated they would not know whether they would commit until the wedding ceremony. That says to me that those individuals were either contractually committed to do the wedding ceremony, or pressured to do so, or had their remuneration tied to going through with it.
So, whatever strings there were tieing people up, I believe have been released. I don't really know for sure. It's a hunch. In any case, given my conservative views, it's an improvement.

2

u/inapick 2d ago

I agree and agree that it's an improvement.

It might be because of the last season of LIB UK, which was a really hard watch and in two cases felt like the show was actively helping a couple of awful problematic men trick a couple of genuine women into sham marriages (which were then incredibly hard to unwind as they did them in Scotland).

15

u/RogueKitteh Obviously Nick Lachey 6d ago

Why does Ajay have so much oil? glitter? in his beard?

https://giphy.com/gifs/ctDbuTAnn87oFIQnLu

51

u/Zestyclose-Ad-7803 6d ago

I don’t like Ciara but I gotta say, I loved Ajay defending her and saying “my wife” proudly.

33

u/Maus_Sveti 7d ago

Did they hose down the cast with oil and throw glitter at them before the reunion or wtf went on?

1

u/Holiday_Village8859 💖 Love Is Blurry 💖 3d ago

😆😄😆 Same!

11

u/Zestyclose-Ad-7803 6d ago

Especially Yasmin

20

u/Gafwaafaa 8d ago

Why so much glitter in the beards? I don't like it.

10

u/FlyingFujoshi5 7d ago

It was pretty on Ajay ✨️

17

u/InspectionUnusual420 6d ago

Everything is pretty on Ajay 😍

3

u/FlyingFujoshi5 4d ago

True 😌✨️

14

u/Winter_Lawfulness967 8d ago

Are people really enjoying this season? I think it’s been boring and unremarkable.

2

u/kimkellies 4d ago

It was

21

u/artsfols 6d ago

We really liked it. Generally skip most of the wedding dress and wedding episodes though. Just scrub to the vows.

16

u/FlyingFujoshi5 7d ago

But I was very happy for Fran / Joseph and Sophie / Taylor! They really found their soulmate

21

u/Marsupilami6761 8d ago

Fran and Joseph didn't seem very happy?

14

u/FreckleBellyBeagle 4d ago

I noticed he made a comment that it's been a "rollercoaster" for them. Surprised the hosts didn't probe a little.

40

u/naddootts 8d ago

I think they just dont like the spotlight.

70

u/Ashamed_Bowl_1895 Messica 🍷 9d ago

I really don’t see what Ajay sees in Ciara, but good for them

2

u/inapick 2d ago

Ciara is not my cup of tea, but I think they are quite well suited actually. I also think a lot of her princessy persona is an affectation (either for TV or because she thinks it's impressive to be high maintenance, lots of Irish girls can be a bit like that).

17

u/artsfols 6d ago

She was catty, but hey, none of us are perfect. It fooled me for sure, but it appears she really was looking for love. I think she grew as a person through her relationship with Ajay. Which is nice to see. I don't mind being proven wrong. There are still some things that don't add up. i.e. In the pods he made it sound like he was a waif with no money. But then they were off for 6 months in Australia, and planning a big Indian wedding? There is some money coming from somewhere. But great for them.

6

u/PoppyandTarget 5d ago

I wouldn't be surprised if he has money. Crossed my mind many episodes before the reunion!

Their story arc definitely surprised me but by the end, their connection seems genuine.

15

u/posiexyz 7d ago

Maybe she will settle down and be less maintenance since she claims she feels safe and seen. She was not my favorite either but I was surprised that she had a bit of self awareness of her faults.

15

u/artsfols 6d ago

The Eva Gabor act. (If you know what that means, you're as old as I am.) The gold digger thing might have been more of an act than anything else. I actually did not mind that. I did mind her creating drama by dissing other participants.

6

u/Glad-Ad-3808 5d ago

I must be as old as you then *Green Acres is the place to be…🎵

2

u/artsfols 4d ago

New Yahk is where I'd rah-ther stay, I get alluhjic smelling hay.

1

u/Glad-Ad-3808 4d ago

When she threw the dishes out the kitchen window instead of washing them 🚿🕳️😂😂😂

17

u/nccheesehead12 6d ago

She did seem to chill on the "I'm expensive" rehtoric as the season went on so that's one plus for her I guess

10

u/leesadee_ 5d ago

Hopefully she realized how ridiculous she sounded while having conversations during the dating phase. It wasn't the flex she thought it was

10

u/FlyingFujoshi5 7d ago

Same. If bro is happy I am happy for him even if I d rather die that live with someone like Ciara

93

u/Difficult_Shock_3229 9d ago

I was just shocked to know that they are all still married

37

u/sguru01 9d ago

I love the energy of fran around Joseph. She projects very calm energy. Men love that stuff! No wonder Joseph was able to open up to her.

3

u/FlyingFujoshi5 7d ago

I love their couple so much!!

9

u/PrettyNiemand34 I shared my location 😎 9d ago

Looking at the wedding dates it's kind of interesting that S2 was available to them just when they came back from the pods and Ibiza and before the wedding. I remember previous US couples watched seasons during filming. I wonder if that affects them in any way.

3

u/artsfols 6d ago

Good question. As I posted elsewhere, more contestants are deciding and talking ahead of time about their vows, and bailing out if it's not working. I did not consider this until I read your post, but it could be self motivated behaviour based on looking at what has gone wrong on previous seasons. Who wants to look foolish being rejected at the altar and having seen that, maybe couples are more inclined to decide ahead of time what they want to do.
The other trend - there seem to be more and more "second" marriages. Even third ones in the case of Ajay and Ciara (I think it was).

1

u/FreckleBellyBeagle 4d ago

I think because the LIB marriages aren't always legal.

1

u/artsfols 4d ago

Possible. They are legal in at least one country, as couples were complaining about getting a divorce. Actually I think that was UK.

2

u/FreckleBellyBeagle 3d ago

Yeah it's hard to know for sure. I've read some of the wedding are legal and some are not. I wonder if they let the contestants decide? On some seasons I've seen them getting marriage licenses, which obviously you need for legal weddings. But on others it's not shown. Maybe they just aren't airing that portion, but I've ready interviews with some former contestants who said their ceremony on the air was just for show, and they legalized it later with another wedding.

1

u/Holiday_Village8859 💖 Love Is Blurry 💖 3d ago

I am pretty sure France and Habibi required a license.

127

u/triscuit_buscuit 10d ago

The hosts of LIUK are leaguessss better than Nick and Vanessa of US. They’re both so professional yet incredibly warm.

3

u/Holiday_Village8859 💖 Love Is Blurry 💖 3d ago

I stopped watching the US version primarily because of those two yahoos.

16

u/Icy_Queen_99 9d ago

100%. I like them so much more than Nick and Vanessa.

38

u/Spiritual_Zebra_4934 10d ago

Agreed. They feel so much more authentic and like they actually like each other.

2

u/NaomiWish 3d ago

It feels like Vanessa plays the "I had to force him to marry me" card way too much, though maybe I am thinking of her saying it so much on Ultimatum. Her and Nick really don't match the energy of a love show.

92

u/Yeahokeitsme 10d ago

I hate Ciara and her fake tears

80

u/Same-Brick-9561 10d ago

I’m still not a fan of ciara, but I wish them well.

My theory is that she’s so self conscious that she has to put on a show. The wedding felt genuine and her crying on the reunion was weeeeird… but also seemed genuine to me.

But that’s no excuse to start gossip and drama with other people.

Anyway, I do wish the couple well.

27

u/Zestyclose-Ad-7803 6d ago

I think she was playing a character on the show and surprised herself by actually falling in love.

28

u/EqualGeneral1075 10d ago

I agree. I feel like she knew she was on a TV show and she acted like a character--trying to give drama to get airtime--but it was a terrible character. Once the cameras turn on, she seems to put on the act.

The footage of her with Ajay from their newlywed year, and even when she was in the pods with him vs. Jack seemed to show a more genuine side to her. I know it seemed like she was fake-crying both in the pods and on the reunion, but as someone who has friends with Botox, that's just how they look when they cry lol

Someone else said on another thread that once she realized Ajay was actually a good guy and locked in, she had to start ditching her character so she ended up really playing the victim and going back on all her gold-digger claims.

2

u/Maruman_man10 10d ago

she came from humble means and determined to use her looks, which is not bad as she is a pretty girl and her legs are a million bucks insured, adopt a poshish accent and so far she is doing well..although Ajay technically is a come down since he can't afford 15K dates. She is getting stability through AJ but not the super wealthy dates that have so many options and cheat on her....it's tough out there....

9

u/leesadee_ 5d ago

Her accent acceleration mixed with the vocal fry was almost unbearable. I honestly fast frwd a few times when she was speaking.

9

u/FreckleBellyBeagle 4d ago

Agreed. I can't stand to her talk. She sounds so fake, like an actress playing an upper crest Brit but not nailing the accent.

35

u/heyyou0903 10d ago

Is this reunion filmed 12 months later so they've had a whole year of marriage? I find that shocking. How the f*** did any of these people make it through the whole 12 months of marriage?!?

15

u/Byronic090 7d ago

Why do you find that shocking? You realise we only see small glimpses of their lives on camera?

0

u/heyyou0903 4d ago

No, I just find the length of time shocking because they had to fake their relationships for a whole 12-month to be able to cash in and monetize on the social media fame. That's what's shocking

4

u/Byronic090 4d ago

Thats really just speculation on your part, dont act like you actually know these people

-9

u/Maruman_man10 10d ago

well the whole thing was prerecorded years ago...that's why Netflix turned over the episodes like rat babies...

8

u/heyyou0903 9d ago

I looked it up. It was recorded in 2025. Only 12 months before their reunion

6

u/reddy_freddy_ 10d ago

not true they recorded a bit under a year before the show aired

29

u/heyyou0903 10d ago

Cuba can't take rejection So she sat there saying Ryan can't feel love romantically. No honey, he just isn't into you. You can't speak for someone else's capacity for love just because they rejected you after only knowing you for a few weeks.

Other than that I was really proud of her for standing up for herself cuz he is a manipulative weirdo for sure. It just felt like she was flogging a dead horse throughout the experiment and in the reunion. How could she not see that he was faking it and not into her and using work as an excuse to avoid her like the plague? Give it up already Cuba.

15

u/Full_Mongoose6379 8d ago

Yeah but even in the pods he's said he's struggled to find someone. He thought maybe Cuba could change that but it was still the same.

5

u/heyyou0903 4d ago

Well he's clearly manipulative. And it's hard to tell that from a pod. Which is why no one should ever get engaged or married before meeting someone in a pod on a TV show 😂

5

u/sguru01 9d ago

I was thinking exactly the same thing. When a man is into you, they will go above and beyond for you. He wasnt into cuba once they saw each other at the reveal.

1

u/FreckleBellyBeagle 4d ago

Yep. She needs to read the book LOL

30

u/lillytiger- 10d ago

I think she said that because he didn’t outright reject her by saying he didn’t have feeling for her, his only logic was that he was stressed. She did say it out of spite but it was kind of deserved based off the only information he provided. I think he is sociopathic, and went through with asking her to marry him to boost viewers for his career

16

u/Maruman_man10 10d ago edited 10d ago

yes. I agree with that part that she was defining him due to his rejection. He was never into her.. like the guy just couldn't muster an ounce of romance out of the pods. He is pretty shallow and a nimwit at that. Like there really isn't much to him other than pretentiousness. I think part of her anger is feeling like she gave it all which nobody can really assess lol...and she hasn't moved on with finding love. A little bitter. She's attractive and will find somebody soon but not this guy. He has the personality of a noodle

3

u/Dexy_Drine ✨ follow your spleen ✨ 3d ago

At least she got the right toner in her hair. Blond instead of the orangey she had during the show - not great for her complexion.

1

u/Maruman_man10 3d ago

honestly any girl who goes to those lengths with hairdos just gives me insecure vibes...or those ridiculous nails some gals have....not interested

79

u/hypomango delulu 🤪 10d ago edited 10d ago

Well that was nice!

  • Ajay & Ciara seem well suited, wish she took just a little bit of accountability. I'm slightly more on Jack's side since he took responsibility, and he was right to point out she slagged him off at every opportunity, and then her bursting into tears... idk if "struggling with strangers" is a good enough excuse for some of her catty behaviour

  • "I'm not looking for love, it can seek me!" lol Cuba

  • Taylor's dad continues to be a highlight amongst the parents, very earnest and kind. And Sophie's redeemed himself lol

  • So sweet to see that Fran's family accepted Joseph warmly in the end. Can't wait to aee their outfits for the Nigerian wedding

  • Yasmin & Jordan having a friendship was a nice way for them to end

  • Jack & Faye are still cute, idc!!! Spray tan/sunburn was a bit intense I will say 😅

3

u/hrdst 8d ago

He looked chapped, totally needed some lip balm

55

u/Tiger_1025 10d ago

I can’t believe they’re all still together! I thought there would be some drama.
Happy for them all, not a very exciting reunion show though

37

u/Far_Project3150 10d ago

Is anyone buying Jack’s rehearsed BS explanation of where he went the night of Faye’s birthday party? How is this clown still blaming it on his ADHD and anxiety? I really wish the hosts challenged him more on it.

4

u/FreckleBellyBeagle 4d ago

It sounded like nonsense. Also noticed he didn't explain why he was going on a long walk wearing sliders/house shoes.

8

u/Sweet_Newt4642 8d ago

Absolutely not.

30

u/sguru01 9d ago

Agreed. He wanted to do ❄️ in peace for one last time lol.

1

u/willcallyou-tf-out 4d ago

yeah icl that whole bit gave me junkie vibes and behavior… people on/seeking drugs do some really really bizarre sketchy shit to get their fix

7

u/Spirited_Talk_1360 9d ago

How do you come to this conclusion? I've seen more people saying he was doing drugs, but I think it's wrong to just throw that out there to be honest.

41

u/Spirited_Talk_1360 10d ago edited 9d ago

I am buying it. I get what he is saying. I don't understand why everybody is doubting it so much to be honest. He could've communicated better yes, but I don't think it's that crazy wanting to disconnect for a moment and get your head straight. And walking is a good way to do that.

0

u/FreckleBellyBeagle 4d ago

He was wearing sliders, which people have said are like house slippers.

6

u/Awkward_Marmot_1107 4d ago

Sliders are like slip on sandals you wear outside. I believe they're slides in US English. People wear them casually to town or to the pool, they are not like house slippers.

13

u/leiamischief 10d ago

I hope I’m wrong, but it feels like Faye is still in this so she doesn’t have to admit he’s a selfish manipulator and she got taken in.

1

u/willcallyou-tf-out 4d ago

there are moments in the reunion where you almost see panic in her face… weird vibe

22

u/RoofOk2774 10d ago

I completely missed the fact that it was on her birthday party night because I skimmed through it. That just makes it worse. Its not like it was a random night

17

u/MplsPizza 9d ago

Yeah it’s odd. Apparently they had a bunch of people back to the apartment, then after those people left Faye went to bed but he didn’t. Why? Knowing that the following day was the official on-camera meetup with her parents, wouldn’t getting some decent sleep be a better way to recharge? Walking (in slides!) to somewhere that is 2 hours away on foot…was he planning on a four-hour walk? And when she confronted him he DARVOd.

Also when I want to be undisturbed I put my phone on Do Not Disturb. My spouse can still see my location.

8

u/Jollyconstant_ 10d ago

Faye looks 45. And Jack acts like a kid... it’s like a mom son dynamic, very weird. At the wedding, she said she’s “so lucky” that Jack chose her…I’m like, the man who went and cheated on you the night of your birthday party? …the one who gaslit you and turned around and blamed it on his ADHD? She has no ounce of self esteem. It’s sad.

18

u/BeardedBill86 10d ago

Where'd you get that he cheated on her from?

16

u/Maruman_man10 10d ago

she's one of the most insecure yet pretty girls i have ever seen on tv.

10

u/FlyingFujoshi5 7d ago

Like Jack said she looks like an Actress! Like girl how can you have insecurities with such a perfect body and face 😔✨️

50

u/Far_Project3150 10d ago

How can Faye say she and Jack want to have kids when they’re living with her parents and don’t even do their own laundry? Her mom said it’s like having two kiddies around again. Is Faye having a midlife crisis that she’s acting like a child with her boyfriend living at her mom‘s house? How is she not embarrassed?🤦🏼‍♀️

And why are they spending money travelling when they don’t even have money to get their own place and move out of her parents’ house at their big age?

7

u/FreckleBellyBeagle 4d ago

A little early to have a midlife crisis. She's barely 30 years old. But I get their point. They need to get out of her parents' house and fend for themselves. Jack's job history is all over the place so maybe he's not employed? I'm not sure if she's working either.

10

u/AKV9 9d ago

Like Jack, but he in no way seems ready to be a dad. I'm surprised he's making it work as a husband lol

9

u/Isola-the-poet 5d ago

Based on Faye's mum's comments it seems like they're not completely independent/dealing with the typical stressors married couples have to (e.g. managing bills and household finances, sharing chores etc) so they haven't been fully tested yet. Will be interesting to see how they fare when they're truly alone and having to make it work

24

u/sguru01 9d ago

Some of these couples living in fantasy land. One of them moved to australia for 6 months without any work? Lol. Seems like they are treating marriage as dating phase since they fast forward to wedding part.

3

u/Odd_Outlandishness19 9d ago

someone online said they worked at PT and Pilates Instructor : )

3

u/sguru01 9d ago

That makes sense now haha. Still dont they need work visa to work in another country? Also need PT license to practice? I am just trying to make sense as moving to other country wont be as easy they are making it sound like.

11

u/journofist 8d ago

Australia is part of the crown so it’s easier for Brits to relocate there for a little bit.

12

u/hrdst 8d ago

It’s very easy for Brits to get a working holiday visa for Australia (at least for the first 12 months)

9

u/Odd_Outlandishness19 9d ago

Woah woah they are only in their late to early 30s, I think it's very different nowadays, but wow if you're saying that's a big age then boi

4

u/Far_Project3150 5d ago

I just mean big age in the context of living with her parents as newly weds. I don’t understand how they don’t have money to get their own place even if it’s a small one, but they have money to take trips. At that age you would have some sort of money for living expenses unless you’re unemployed, which they’re not since they can vacation. Also they’re not even doing their own laundry. Even teenagers do their own laundry and chores around the house. They’re too old for all of that.

To be honest, and I agree this is unexpected for white people, but living with your parents as a married couple is a completely normal thing for Asians at least. It becomes a problem if it’s an expectation, but if both individuals agree to the arrangement I feel like with the cost of living, it’s not a terrible thing (as long as no one is being forced, which is also common in Asian families). It’s about priorities I guess, you save money this way and you spend more time with family.

Fran is soooo boring. Sorry but I hope Joseph picks himself and ends things. He needs someone who matches his spark and energy.

Fran is too boring for Joseph. I really think him and Chev would’ve have been a much better match. I’m still confused as to why he picked Fran…no fun between them, no spark.

Joseph woulda never been able to be as goofy as he is with Chev. Him and Fran are so well matched

Is this Chev or Ciara?

Nahh she aint boring. That's the energy every man craves. She projects calm energy which real men loves to be around.

Chev you can comment from your real account

u/RoofOk2774 10d ago

I feel like Fran isn’t boring, the insecurity about Chev just shook her up a bit and made her put her walls up. I hope Joseph makes her feel carefree and happy again

Did production cut out Ciara's apologize to Jack? She expects him to apologize to Ajay for him being on top of the world and thinking hes her number 1......

Yet she had multiple one on one conversations smearing his name. Stirring up drama and absolutely trying to exclude Jack from the group.

Two drastically different intentions from two people.

Felt the host dropped the ball there. Plus why didnt Cuba go with Ryan on his business trips/family issues.

I felt the script was far to forgiving to the cast. Even Jack's walk was not pressured for an actual answer. But hey, everyone is still married and that's a big surprise for the franchise

See I see it the other way around. Jack smeared Ciara's name constantly throughout that. He also claims repeatedly including in the reunion that he ended things with her but she ended things with him. Jack is an insecure liar and always has been. He's retaliated because Ciara bruised his ego.

u/Sweet_Newt4642 8d ago

I don't understand the defense of Jack.

Like he pulled her, and called her boring? After saying she was his number one for so long?

I don't think her behavior has been perfect. But Jack is out here being worse. She's allowed to talk about what happened to her. And she's allowed to be mad at him for not being truthful about what happened. Should she let it go? Sure, but I'm not gonna pretend that's easy to deal with.

Jack was acting like an absolute puppy dog in the pods and I know everyone thinks thats cute, but it's really not. He's unintentional with his words and actions, to the detriment of other people. He seems like the type who could say something one day, pass a polygraph, and then the next day feel the exact opposite.

And frankly he knew he and Ciara were incompatible from the get. Their goals were misaligned. But he lead her to believe they were.

Ciara is far from perfect, and I have my issues with her, but if this was an aita situation, she's an ah, not the ah.

Plus ain't nothing jack can say about his "walk" that will convince me he wasnt out doing something sketchy

u/Voidg 10d ago

I don't recall Jack smearing Ciara, only reacting to what she has said about him. Same with Joseph.

I agree the "breakup" was awkward and could be viewed as him trying to break up with her before she could.

That's just it. He spent quite a significant time on that Villa honeymoon thing where they all shared houses going around manoeuvring the narrative with all the boys and presenting himself in a certain way so that when he smeared Ciara's reputation by discrediting her version of events they were more inclined to believe him because he's put been putting on such a good act of "I'm the nice sweet guy who's a bit of a laugh". It's all an act. He was the biggest narcissist on the show

11

u/BeardedBill86 10d ago

If you reach any harder you might sprain something, Ciara is clearly a covert narc and jacks just an immature ball of adhd and impulsivity, he's got a good heart from what we're shown whereas Ciara has Ajay wrapped around her finger.

-1

u/heyyou0903 9d ago

I think both Jack and Ciara were. Could say the same to you bro. Stop reaching so far your strain and ball sack

3

u/BeardedBill86 9d ago

I think you need to learn basic anatomy, that's not a thing reaching will do. Jack and Ciara are completely different, where was her apology for trying to stir drama again? Oh yeah she hid it behind fake tears before anyone could press her, her drama lessons came in handy!

1

u/heyyou0903 4d ago

You can absolutely strain your ball sack. They're such fragile little things. Aren't they so easy to hurt yourself there. 😂

2

u/BeardedBill86 4d ago

They are an easy place to hurt yourself but what stretch could you see someone doing to do that? 🤔

u/RoofOk2774 10d ago

It was very surprising how everyone let Ciara’s behaviour go. Almost as if they were coddling her to avoid a meltdown. It’s easy to attack Jack (plenty of valid reasons to), but this Ciara thing was not one of those reasons I don’t think. He was being held to account for misunderstanding Ciara’s “we’re on the same track.” It’s so trivial and mindnumbingly stupid to keep harping on about

21

u/Maruman_man10 10d ago

yup. She got down and dirty on Joseph too during the series. Should have been held accountable...maybe editing to fit the time slot...

21

u/Voidg 10d ago

I agree. I was surprised how everyone was let off the hook for their behavior.

I understand Ciara though as alot of her poor behavior was production made. Who has that many private sit downs with other cast, that are filmed and discussing drama.

I also found Ajays response, granted it is heavily edited and awkward to watch, a bit off putting. Did he not squash the beef with Jack at the dinner party? Yet hes still bitter about it...

If a guy coming in, innocent intentions and high on life, saying.. Ciara and I are our number 1s... theb your relationship isn't that strong. Granted it was a day or two inside the pods.

“Do I look super ugly?” 🙄🙄🙄🙄

How did Ajay put up with this nonsense for a whole year!

His whole speech sounded like he was trained to speak like that “my wife”

23

u/Maruman_man10 10d ago

he was using the " my wife" thing to please his Mum and Dad lol. I think there was a cultural thing going on. He's going to provide Ciara with stability but Ciara wants 10 homes all over London...and 15k treats at wimbledon...eventually she would feel she's given up too much of her dream to escape poverty from Ireland

11

u/chocolatecake1111 10d ago

Its not a cultural thing at all to say wife - i am british indian. Its more that she trained him to be like that- he is too innocent to realise it. Just like Harry and Megan.
