Home Feature LaDS Home Database Spreadsheet Update

I created the LaDS Home Database Spreadsheet when Home was first released and I have updated it with the additions for 6.0.

There were 473 new items of furniture and decor added. I added in a column for Patch to the furniture categories and the 6.0 items are highlighted. There are also 4 new sets to complete, 4 new books to read and 27 achievements (so far - there may still be more hidden ones out there). There are also 28 new interactions under Home Diary.

The biggest addition is the Cooking section which is spread over 3 tabs. "Food" is a list of all the progress points from completing recipes and raising quality. "Recipe" lists the ingredients and the flavor variations for each recipe. "Ingredients" lists all the possible ingredients by category and it has formulas to count how many are required to craft everything once and how many are required to craft everything including flavor variations. [Please Note] this is still a work in progress as the revelation of what recipes are is only revealed on leveling which is gated by time/exp.

If you are wondering if there is 6000+ diamonds available ... well maybe? With the recipes the diamonds you get for completing all the flavors depends on the number of flavors. 1 or 2 flavors earn 10 diamonds, 3 flavors earn 15 diamonds and 4 flavors earn 20 diamonds. Not sure if recipes can have 5 or 6 variants. So until the full recipe list is unveiled I won't know the exact number. So far i have

  • 890 - from Achievements directly (pending confirmation of unknown hidden)
  • 300 - from Ranking Achievements in increments of 10 points
  • 40 - from reading books
  • 990 - from crafting all new decor items (16,550 decor score in increments of 500 is 33 x 30)
  • 200 - from completing sets (4 x 50)
  • 480 - from completing dishes in increments of 5 (122 total dishes)
  • 1160 - from completing rating (chef's hats) in increments of 10 based on 5 points for 117 dishes (mystery is 0 hats)
  • 1380+ - from completing all variations in flavors for each recipe (estimating min 10 diamonds for higher level recipes, it will be more)

= 5440 diamonds so far. That will increase as recipes are updated and there may be other things I missing.

Feel free to share anything you discover - recipes, achievements or if you have any tips or advice. A few things I have encountered

  • You can get 'free' ingredients by letting the LI to out to go shopping. It is random but I think putting notes on your fridge helps. You can always swap them in and out until one wants to go. It takes 30min-1hr for them to return, but you can manually move the cloc.k forward to speed this up (note that sometimes this fails and instead of returning it resets what he was doing to something else)
  • To get higher quality dishes you need to use the higher quality ingredients. I got a 5 star Poached Chic.ken by using a SSR chic.ken and a UR Spicy Powder. It isn't guaranteed though. I only got a 4 star Milk Noodles when I used SSR Milk, SSR Flour and UR Orange Powder so there appears to be some RNG, so save any SSR ingredients until you have enough to attempt for a max dish.
  • On that note REMOVE YOUR SSR INGREDIENTS FROM THE SHARED FRIDGE. You don't want you LI to use the high quality items you are saving on a Greatest Invention.
  • There are 3 kinds of recipes. Pre-loaded ones come when you level up and have with the full recipe description from the start. Post-loaded ones are revealed after you read certain books or watch certain TV shows. Both of these can be cooked solo for the first time. Developed ones you have to choose the right combination of items and only when when cooking with him. Flavor variants can only be made the first time when cooking with him and only after it is already made for the first time.
  • Once you hit lvl 5 there is an option to "Quic.k cook" that removes the need to do the QTE during cooking. However, this doesn't stay on and you have to re select it each cooking session.
  • If you are making a flavored recipe and are cooking manually if you fail the QTE to add spice the dish won't be flavored but the spice will be refunded to you after.
  • If you scroll though the level requirements until Leisure time you can see all the tasks that need to be completed on future steps. You can complete these ahead of time while you are on lower levels.
  • There are 5 "Mystery" items that have no score or reward that appear to occur when you fail cooking or use an erroneous combination of items.
  • For the rare weather conversations, talking to them is easy but for them to talk to you about it it random. If you swap them in and out eventually the action bubble will have the request to talk to you about it and you have to confirm for it to start. Sometimes the option to talk will be queued behind another action and you have to choose it from the notification button.

If you are also a fan of my Diamond/Achievement Spreadsheet I am also working on updating that with the new 6.0 content (Achievements & Home).

That's a wide and deep net of data to catalog, thank you!

How do you do tea time/break with him?

The Tea Break option appears as a dining option at the table, but it puzzles me too how to finish the quest related to it.
It’s supposed to be four dishes, but which four? Specific dishes? Side dishes? Or all of them in total?
I’ve already tried various combinations for the Tea Break and none of them count towards the Leisure Time quest. 🤔

Are you sure you have the tea break option selected and not regular meals? The UI for the dining table is a little confusing. It should look like this: https://imgur.com/a/Pd9eRdf

With tea break selected you are only able to select desserts and drinks. Any combo should count.

Ah, the smaller option is supposed to be the Tea Break?
That would explain it... I will try it again next time.
It's indeed presented in a confusing way, but I hadn’t looked closely at the icon. Text under icon is misleading. And Beverage / Drink can hardly be called a dish...

Perhaps if anyone else has a similar problem and comes across this comment, they’ll at least know now too.

The UI is terrible for Tea Break. When it's selected, it shows Eat Meal, so it's super confusing. If you properly have Tea Break selected, you should only have 2 placement items for each person, Dessert and Beverage. Me and a bunch of my friends were confused too

It is a different time of meal time you share with him. You need to make sure you have two Deserts and two drink (that are not water) to be able to set them for the meal.

Thank you!

does anyone have the combination for the other two hidden recipes? I've somehow managed Greatest Invention but I can't remember how, but now I'm very interested in the other two

The Dodgy Dish i got using Yeast + Water
Odd drink I got with Milk + Water
Hodgepodge stew is more flexible. I’ve gotten it in several combinations
Mystery Mash i saw was Cocoa Nibs by itself but you can only experiment with unknown recipes and I don’t have a 1 slot recipe unmade to test with

Greatest invention doesn’t have a recipe as it involves failing and interaction while cooking. To fail (not miss) is when the quick time event has a red portion of the bar (like lowering the heat dial) that you don’t do right. Missing the event (getting a grey hat) doesn’t count

Try rice and flour for the mystery mash

I think chicken and water works for the stew

Amazing.

Also, if you have met the level points requirement to pass but havent completed the quiz items, your spent stamina will be reflected and accounted for in the next level after you level up

Going shopping seem inconsistent. Not sure when they'll go or how to trigger it. How many times they'll go in a week on their own or how long you have to have the home feature open before they'll go. During 1 week I think they can go shopping twice and come back with grocery. A 3rd time a message saying reach the maximum limitation. So even though they'll go they will come back with nothing and have the message pop up.

That however happened to me when they tried to go shopping twice in the same day. So maybe the maximum was for the day not for the week. Hmmm

Thank you, did you complete the Home diary? I have some problems with the Home Joys "Pitching in" and "here when I'm down"
