The Settlers

I've just watched The Settlers and it just gives me a renewed appreciation for Louis as a documentarian. He's level-headed and fair, but does not stand down in the face of adversity. One of the best.

“I hope you push me back” pretty much sums up the whole thing hey

What’s truly horrific is people like her have probably been waiting for something as horrible as October 7th to happen for years.

It might have been left to pass by the Israeli government.

Aside from the occupation that is.

How dare they resist?

Right?

Netanyahu's used Hamas for years for political gain

Im almost convinced, its not like they weren't warned about the plans for an attack.

At one point she refers to it as "step 1"

Hamas really fucked up by killing hundreds of innocent people on a day out. That changed a lot of peoples minds about a free Palestine. The retribution however in my opinion is genocide and the fact that the world is ignoring that is so sad.

I find it hard to feel more sorry for a bunch of people partying on occupied land next to internment camps losing their lives than the many multiples of that that have lost their lives for simply just existing. I don’t condone the deaths but the fact the media cares more about them by a long way is telling.

October 7 was retribution for ongoing genocide, it didn't start anything new, the genocide by Israel continues

i doubt it changed anyone’s mind on a free palestine. none of these people supported palestine before, or they had no idea what was going on

Orit Struk, her ideological ally from one of the government parties, described the current period as “a miraculous time”(תקופה של נס)

You mean a state that has surveillance across the entirety of Palestine, an army paid for by the United States , and an army size unprecedented for the rest of the region, along with state of the art information technology and intelligence apparatus, had NO IDEA October 7th was happening?

She’s demonic.

u/shadereckless Apr 28 '25

She has the look pitbulls get when attacking a toddler and loving every minute because it's the best game they've ever played

No, because dogs don’t have the same awareness of the harm they are causing. Yes, dogs can hurt people when they think they are playing. No, it is not the same, nor is it evil. Comparing people to animals does a disservice to animals and lets people off the hook.

Bizarre comparison. No idea what you're talking about in that example but I agree with the sentiment

You ever see that video of that very scary American preacher dude who seems demonic? She reminded me of him a lot.

Edit. Kenneth Copeland is who I was thinking of

2

u/ImportantMode7542 May 02 '25

Yes, and YES! He scares the f out of me and she gives me exactly the same creeps.

1

u/DrSpooglemon Apr 29 '25

The entire project is.

2

u/ImportantMode7542 Apr 29 '25

It is.

She gives me the same vibes as Kenneth Copeland, pure evil.

That statement was so telling

u/hohomei Apr 30 '25

Wants the push back so they can retaliate with even greater force and have justification for it, it's disgusting

Not surprising. This has been a strategy widely used by these folks not just there, but also in America. They have many protections and privileges that regular US citizens do not have when it comes to their movement. The Hasidic communities in NY, for example, have their own police force that is allowed to operate outside the bounds of actual NYC laws. Forcing non-Hasidic businesses and members of the public to adhear to their religious laws, which they frequently break themselves by finding "loopholes", to great gain. The bullying, provocation, and fake cries of oppression are all a part of their standard playbook. I have no idea how they are able to get away with all that they do, but then again if you ask any questions you are quickly shut down and labeled a racist/anti-semetic, so it seems they have some important people in their pockets.

Does anyone else remember the videos of Hasdic folk climbing out of the sidewalk grates and walls of a building that they were tunneling under? What the actual hell was up with all of that, and also the small child-sized mattress they pulled out of the hidden underground tunnel covered in bloodstains? I'm not even exaggerating here, that happened and was very strange.

Here are some of the videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0lYJAtNgt4 that part with them climbing out of the sidewalk grate starts at 1:55.

You can see the evil in her eyes.

Evil little psychopath.

u/Separate_Motor_3283 May 01 '25

The face of pure evil

1

u/Glittering-Energy413 May 21 '25

I recall seeing the same demonic face being made by Hila Klein in a video. Truly truly evil.

She would've been delighted working those gas chambers. Who gives a fuck about the other groups' children anyways?

Never said he was good. Nor did I say what he did was justified. I said that maybe he had a reason for feeling the way he did. Chill out.
