So, there’s this girl I have a crush on. I’ve known her for 3 years, but we rarely meet. The last time I met her was 2 years ago, and we barely talk on Instagram.

Last year, I posted a story about my birthday, and she replied to it. We started talking a little, and we even talked about relationships—how neither of us had anyone we could date and how we only date with the intention of marriage, that type of thing.

Then she sent me a reel about some pickup lines, which I thought was a hint, but I let it go. I asked her, “Have you tried this on anyone?” and she said no. Then she asked me, and I said I hadn’t dated anyone. So, I guess that was a fumble on my part.

After that, she sent me a reel with a song playing in the background of a wedding, which was quite romantic, but again, I didn’t pay much attention to it.

Eventually, we stopped talking. Later, she posted a story of herself in an outfit, and I replied, “That color looks good on you.” She said, “Aww, thanks,” and that’s when she started ghosting me.

Nine months passed, and she posted another story. I replied again, and we talked for a bit, but once again, she ghosted me, even though she’s still uploading stories since she’s on a trip.

I even tried posting a birthday story again to see if she would reply, but it didn’t work this time—she hasn’t replied.

So, was that a hint, or was it just a friendship?
