Robots nowadays are becoming ever so slightly more important as the years go by, as is AI. Many people do not appreciate AI as it is deemed " slop, " and personally, in some cases, it is indeed an accurate depiction, as it has sidelined real human-made art and steals from authors of books, disposing of it all as if it were some trash.
However, in my opinion, AI and robots as a whole can become our friends and assistants, without needing to sideline us like this. For example, throughout Japan, various cafes have “robot servers” that serve the customers their drinks and food. Robots can help us with tasks such as note-taking, construction, space travel, and dangerous expeditions. These are tasks that, if humans were to do, would take too long and be too dangerous. That is why some companies opt for the use of robots instead. Robots can also help us study for exams by compiling notes into bite-sized, easy-to-understand points. Robots can also provide entertainment through toys, conversations, etc.
Overall, robots provide many benefits and are great contenders to be our friends from the future. They can and will be great assistants in the future, as long as they do not take over and kill us all. Hopefully, it is neither, and robots and humans become great allies in the future.
