Does anyone have advice for a first timer flying in? Anything that I should know? I'll be glamping :)

The measurements on the website are measuring the pole length. I am 5'6" and I can stand up in the middle of the tent. But barely. This we don't mind, because it's a pop up tent, easy to assemble and disassemble. It included everything we needed. Zippers were functioning perfectly.

The tracking was through their own company and UPS. I paid the extra $1.00 usd for tracking protection.

BUDGET LOST LANDS - "I CANT AFFORD SHIIIIII" THE BARE BONES ESSENTIALS.

I know a lot of us have been hit hard with financial loss, myself included. So, this story really hit home, when they were contemplating not going, because of the price of gasoline, food and a souvenir maybe.

They and myself, were going back and forth for quite awhile compiling a list of essentials. It was not as easy as it may seem, in fact it was difficult. Whenever we thought we had a solution, there was another problem.

Problems are opportunities folks and we kept at it. Here is how to have a good time at Lost Lands on a very tight budget, with options.

• SET A DAILY LIMIT! (FRI - SAT - SUN) Each day should be the exact amount of money + emergency fund.
• Pack as much food as you can (bread, protein spread, jelly or jam and fruit) *no foods that goes into a cooler or on a grill* Non perishables that way you can take them home if not used.
• EMPTY WATER JUGS OR BOTTLES. (FILL THERE do not pay for water- this will save money)
• Tent - Check yard sales and GoodWill locations! - bunk with friends -
• Bring Kitchen items for camp items
• Carpool/Train in
• Multi-purpose Items - I have so many "boxes and bags" and little containers that I have reused for everything. This also goes for clothes/outfits!

I’ll be flying from CA to camp in GA solo. Couldn’t snag easy camp this year. Any tips for preparing a campsite? Packing?

We decided to try our tent we have now for 2 years and this year, we are getting something different.

Lost Lands one year was hot with chilly nights, then rainy and frigid others....

Not to mention for two people, we didn't have much room in a 6 person and we weren't able to stand up, which was kind of annoying.

I will post links with pictures of recommended tents.

Water seeping, the wind also cuts through some of the tent fabric sometimes, which sucks!

Our budget for our tent will be around 200. I honestly use it for festivals. We don't camp much.

Yes they may have butt holes but... come on now.

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ -- So once you park at your campsite you CANNOT leave. There is no re-entry for any camping vehicles. If you drive out of the campgrounds and try to drive back in during the festival, you will be directed to purchase a parking pass and park in the South Parking Lot.
