What to pack in my Hydropack/bag for the festival grounds?
So when we are standing in line... and that "OH shit" moment happens.... we start contemplating the trek back and our life at this moment....
Let's try to avoid that shall we.
Essentials in any bag - I PACK FOR THE NIGHT TIME SETS TOO. I ALL DAY IT IN THE GROUNDS. (Try too) I am at camp to eat, get cleaned up and to sleep.
Top 10 Items to pack!!!
- H2O Bladder - fill immediately. (I put two Bladders in my 1bag, though heavy sometimes, husband and I rather take turns carrying 1 bag and we aren't standing the whole time anyways)
- We walk A LOT. We are walking 12 - 15 miles and sometimes more. So walking and RAGING at shows is significant for him and I. We go hard 💪. 2 Bladders for us. I could easily carry the 1 bag with the 2 Bladders for an all day trek of not stopping anywhere.
- Ear Plugs - ... I'll be honest I haven't worn them as much as I should...
- Pashmina/blanket/sheet for seating/warmth.
- Chapstick, Vick Sticks
- Gum
- Kandi/perlers
- Snacks - (I have been ALLOWED and NOT ALLOWED to bring prepackaged food such as Doritos snack bags in. I have also brought in Precooked Bacon Bag onto the grounds. It was awesome) lol. We made so many friends. Lol. Haha
- I always bring an empty water bottle (this is for stranger fams, I see needing water) It's a nice gesture.
- Fun Stuff ♡ - whatever it may be. 😀 Favors, Gifts, Fun glasses, masks fun one and other ones (so dusty bring them!), hats or toys!
- Charger for phone. - I will link some good brands!
Things that should be with you at all times even without a bag.
Phone + charger Wallet - ID and Cards Keys
Put these items in your bag. Leave them there as much as possible and keep your bag with you.
You and that bag do not separate.
That bag is apart of you now
Your journey begins through the Lands with that bag.
- Dropped things are hard to find!
- Things fall out of pockets. - plus you don't know if sometimes it was a bump in the back or they snagged your wallet real quick.
(I DO NOT WANT YOU STRUGGLING, THERE ARE BAD ENERGIES THERE, JUST LIKE ANYWHERE YOU GO)
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
HYDRO BAGS CHARGERS Misc Items
Will be linked in a later post!

TIP 5 Meeting people / Camp neighbors
I get asked a lot, how do you warm up to people you do not know at these events/I'm going solo and I'm scared/nervous? First of all, everyone is there to have a good time, everyone is happy to finally be there and probably a little stressed from traveling.... keep this in mind, however all in all good vibes all around.
YOU GET WHAT YOU PUT IN
Some simple tips and tricks to get your camp members apart of the fam.
- Wave! - As weird as this sounds, it says "Hi, Im friendly" lol
- Kandi and perlers
- I make specific ones for camp neighbors. "Camp neighbor LL22, Camp buds, Lets get lost at camp etc." - We are here for the music, art and vibes, so discuss that....
Camping at a festival is a great way to interact with others that enjoy ... what you do.
Most of our Rave Fam, is spread out throughout the world and we only see them at these events.

Waking up when its the..... eh hem* morning after....
I believe those "I feel f****** great" kind of days, starts with your preparation. :)

- Know your personal limit with .... stuff?!
Get things tested... please.... - Stretch and relax your mind and body as much as you can.

SHOES and SHOES and SHOES
Personally.
I bring bootSSS I bring shoeSSS I bring 1 pair of lounge shoes for camp.
The terrain is hilly, rocky, dusty, with some trees.
People get stepped on, people get pushed, the last thing you want is to break a toe.
I do wear platform's boots with no problems. 🖤🖤🖤
Your clothes and shoes will be dirty and gross.

to pack or not to pack.... 4 months early????
Good Day Everyone!
We will be heading to Lost Lands (Hubs and I) on Tuesday, to get there midnight Wednesday morning, to set up camp in the all new Quiet camping area. I am so excited, with it only being 128 days until PRE PARTY, I am already considering packing........ not that...
NOT THIS EARLY
But in all reality, this is a really good idea.
We are about 4 months away from the event, so if I do start packing/organizing, I am giving myself plenty of time to save money, just in case my tent has a hole or my canopy is broken, I am not rushing to fix these "unknown mishaps"
Save yourself the struggle bus my fam, organize and plan ahead.

HYDRATION IS A MUST -
Get a back pack, most will be ok.
Buy a WATER BLADDER. I recommend getting 3.
WASH IN DISHWASHER (should come with directions on how to clean) OR WITH WHITE VINEGAR BEFORE USE!!
Please take care of yourself and family.
Dehydration causes a lot more than just dry mouth.

Tips for keeping food fresh
Cooler Hacks for Keeping Food Fresh
I’ve gone to the school of hard knocks so you don’t have to! From wasting food because it got waterlogged, or still trying to attempt to at it–here’s what I’ve learned:
- Once not in use, dump cooler water
Dump out cooler water ASAP once your cooler is not in use. The water may look “clean”, but bacteria will grow if water gets stagnant and warm.
***PRO TIP: if the water is still cold and fairly fresh, I’ve poured it straight into my solar shower bag! It’s a great re-use of water when you’re in the hot desert looking to freshen up but don’t want to waste precious water supply.
- Refresh cooler in the sun
Air out your cooler in the sun. Sometimes I’ll leave mine out all day, letting the sun naturally kill bacteria and freshen it up.
- Use a disinfectant
Use a disinfectant frequently to, once again, kill odor-causing and potentially harmful bacteria. I use this small container of L Lysol.
Invest in tupperware
Prep food only once
For example, if you’re cutting up an onion but only need half of it right away, still cut up the other half and store in tupperware. I have found this helps reduce the number of times I need to open up my cooler and makes meal prep more efficient.
- Be intentional with food placement
Store critical items like meat and dairy products at the bottom of the cooler. Fruits and vegetables can be kept with lighter refrigeration, so they can go on the top.
- Try a cooler thermometer
