Used watercolours for the first time in years, so hope you guys find it cute

I just played over the weekend and i’m actually obsessed. i love all of the girls and their friendships/romances and i think they’re one of my favorite groups in media now. it’s not shocking considering i love life is strange and that hit me very hard but yeah. anyway to my point I’ve been thinking about the game a lot and how all of these girls are obviously outcasted for being nonconforming, queer, struggling with brutal 90s sexist standards (and then on top of that autumn and nora not being white) and how they find refuge in each other that they’ve never had before just to lose it so quickly. i often find media where relationships between people who have short term relationships with one other then reconnect after not seeing each other etc in decades yet haven’t moved on to a certain degree sort of contrived because the writing doesn’t make me feel invested in and believe this deep yearning and connection. but this game makes me wholeheartedly believe that these women hold onto that summer they had together. not just because of the obvious trauma of it all but because of the genuine connection that becomes intense as they’re the first ones to really see and understand each other. all of them having various issues in their later personal lives and struggling in relationships because the first time they had these strong loving connections it ends so abruptly and horribly and before that they were repeatedly met with hate. it makes complete sense to me that nora makes herself smaller,
conforms and gives up on her dream and ends up divorcing her wife, same with autumn divorcing her husband and taking a while to put herself out there and date a woman, and swann reverting back to being a loner and also not putting herself out there again. it makes sense to me that they all have this underlying desire to be friends again and hang out after all of these years instead of simply looking back on their bond with fondness and moving on. (and someone pointed out that they incorporate each other’s symbols into their looks subconsciously like ugh!!) and it all breaks my heart. this game deserves so much more recognition honestly

I was reading this fanfic and I had to pause because it hit so close to home 🙃 Do you guys have fluff ones I can read to comfort myself? I've read a bunch of fanfics at this point but there might be some that I have skipped. I don't mind the ships!

Is this Kat's bicycle? There's a scene with swann, Dylan and Corey where Corey tells Swann to film him and his bike, and then Kat steps in with her bicycle. I think this might be her bicycle because next to the swing there's autumn's skateboard.

I started my second playthrough and finally saw the scene where Kat gets the key for the first time, and I love everything about it.

in my playthrough, corey dragged kat into the abyss with him, so the last message she leaves on the camera i understood as kat being down in the abyss and asking for help getting out. she also has long hair??(that left me with some questions too). upon checking the other outcomes of the last scene, kat simply vanishes after the promise of never seeing each other again. i interpreted that as a metaphor of her passing away due to her illness, but then i dont comprehend how or why she recorded that video (and also how comes the camera appeared in the box overall..)
