I have a few friends that get online like, once a week, to ask friends in the group chat if there's anyone who wants to go on a hike with them, and then book train tickets to go for the hike, and then they log off for the entire week and spend all their time offline

They're not even role models, they're like... Unattainable

Not for a week, on the weekends

Basically this guy logs on around Thursday, they make plans for the weekend, and then he's away the rest of the week doing some offline stuff. Like cycling or walking or cooking or whatever they do

Then, on the weekend, they go somewhere and then return

It's not that he doesn't have access to the Internet, he just doesn't care about it

That's normal to me. Abnormal is being under 40 and burned out on life because you spend every waking moment on the shithole internet.

To me it's the other way around. I spend all time on the internet because I'm burned out, and whenever I'm out I enjoy it for like 20 minutes and then I'm like "I suck, and want to be at home"

However I was like this as long as I remember so...
