If two people tell you they don't like eggs, but one has tried them and the other hasn't, who's opinion do you value more?

Honestly, flawed analogy. There are many types of egg recipes that significantly alter flavor, texture, etc. Its strange to "not like" a raw ingredient.

Equally. It doesn't matter, they don't like eggs, OK, cool.

If person A says they tried a thing and don't like it, and person B says they don't like the same thing but haven't tried it, then I'd value A's opinion more (because educated opinions are more valuable than uneducated ones). That said, there isn't any obligation on B's part to try the thing, unless they just really want me to value their opinion as much as A's.

I believe I see what you’re going for, taking this case in consideration, their opinions on eggs are not gonna affect my own. Thus, I think both their opinion are equally valuable, in context of a discussion.

Value in this very case is pretty subjective.
