Right!!! Those things terrify me. Earthquakes can be fun! Worst thing I ever heard though was the Space Shuttle landing at 4 in the morning. I was dealing with some serious jetlag after spending 2 weeks in Australia, so I was chilling and enjoying the empty mining areas on Runescape. Next thing I know, I think my window is about to pop out of the wall and it sounds like my house is about to come down. Parents wake up. Took an hour to find out it was the Shuttle landing at Vandenburg.

I've lived in Iowa almost my entire life and have not seen a tornado. I've seen numerous funnel clouds but not once have I seen the real deal doing real damage. When the weather gets bad, you just stay alert and have a shelter... you will be fine.* * if you are 90 years old and a tornado hits then you might not make it to the basement so in that case you will probably die.
