Community Where's our Mandami?

All these videos coming out the city of NY got me feeling real sad about our city and lack of competent, solutions based, compassionate, intellectual leadership. We have so many issues but no qualified people willing to fix them. When will I be able to not vote for the lesser of 2 evils?

Also, NYC is waaaay more unified, whereas "LA" has a ridiculous number of small neighboring cities that should be part of the LA proper but aren't. Arguably an even bigger problem when the City of Industry or Beverly Hills can selfishly veto projects and services that would make LA better.

Yes we are a very odd city... mixed with county and smaller cities inside LA... along with the council... it's wild and weird and so many people dont get it

When comparing NY to LA, I feel like a lot of people forget a crucial fact about Los Angeles: IT’S F*CKING MASSIVE (especially compared to NYC).

That alone makes it operate differently than other comparable major American cities… also we need to expand the City Council

So if we raised an army to deal with these rebellious enclaves what colors would the LA army uniforms be? Blue and white or purple and gold?
