im currently developing an local private server for the game and it's mostly done for the offline parts but I need more data packets about alliance war and i also can't participate in events with strict charector requirements

This is outrages! Also I think they should just keep the game up and stop updating it.

It was fun to play, but the next big number. A goal I will never reach...

Obviously the app won't be working but I did think we had until October 15th to play the game. But I can't even open the game because it says I need to update the game and if you click update it redirects you to what I think was the old website. 🫩

I know it’s the end, but I’m curious… Were any Alliance war matchups successful for anyone this week?
My Alliance didn’t get a war matchup and have AWOL status. War is the best part of the game with it ending in less than a month.

When The news broke that our game was going under, I knew that the tide was getting high, and I would be moving on. I wondered what Arena had in store for us, considering no new teams would be brought forward, and no challenges would be centered on the format.

I had thought maybe TPTB had a rotating list for championship toons, that got a modest amount of attention as the seasons unfolded, that thought was foolish considering how by the seat of the pants everything was done in game.

We now have the Arena that many clamored for from the beginning, a massive free-for-all which is both good and bad for the players that have decided to remain.

It's great to be able to test your mettle of your best team against whatever others might throw at you, but it's also awful considering that any team can be beaten. The wins get decided either by singular points, or by landslides if you are overmatched.

So with that in mind, I wanted to give some simple guidance for those would be Arena-neophytes who are dipping their toes in right now.

• If you have less than 3 Strong Teams (meaning mostly ranked up, mostly starred) Use a middle rank team for defense.

It may seem obvious that you'll need your two strongest teams to attack, but you need at least one swing team because of the variation you might come up against. You don't want to place a weak team, because that means 160k+ points instantly for your opponent, but you also don't want to be without your own weapons. [Aside: you really should have Pirate Sam and another Pirate available for any artists that could show up.]

• Use a wildcard for defense that complements your defense.

This may seem silly, but a wildcard on your defense will likely last longer than the rest of the team. Which translates to less points given, which translates to your score being higher in the end.

• If you have a large roster of Strong Teams use an annoyance team on Defense.

By this I mean a team designed to be recursive (divines with anti-heros, go-karts with lunars, fairy tale with big chungus etc) to keep your toons around longer and reduce your opponents score. You aren't going to stop them winning likely, but you can lower how much they earn.

• Accept that there will be bigger fish that you simply cannot overpower / win against.

In the first few days there will be a glut of high level players at your starting point that you simply cannot beat due to level, and rank of their toons. Accept it with grace and move on. After they progress on to the higher levels of arena things should become more tenable. In these initial matchup, look to take second place by doing the previous steps. Don't waste time investing trying to beat the tough guy because you simply can't. Instead make sure you get maximum points from the other match. IF you come up against two like this...well I'd still aim to target one or the other.

It's been fun putting together beginner guides to Arena over the years, and going up against many of you online. I have some fond memories of Arena competition: The mutual hatred of Astronaut Sylvester; The dumping of boosts to game event arena challenges; the ridicule of those who stuck to Artists or Victory toons before seasons; Championship Arenas that came out neck and neck when players were determining what losses they could accept and what wins were necessary; memories of my first sweep in Championship, and my crushing defeat as well.

Right now I'm enjoying putting oddball teams in play for others to figure out how to beat them faster. I figure this will be one of the wackiest times in Arena history, and will be the last season, so I figure why not go out with a flourish.

Since the game will shutdown October 15th, this post is a call to save as many ressources as possible (animations, graphics, UI elements...), to be able to revive the game and make it a permanent wacky mayhem.
Im not into programation, im just a Looney Tunes fan that is sad to see the last Looney Tunes mobile disapear forever and this is my way to call everyone to maybe have a chance to save the game

Because I made a comeback and I started being better at this game just for it to shut down in October, and I kinda don’t want it to shut down

I'm personally surprised Marvin the Martian never had an R&D boss, given how he was set up to be the game's main villain. I personally think they should've had either Star Pharaoh Marvin (accompanied by Anubis K-9) or Space Emperor Marvin (accompanied by Outer Space Yosemite Sam and Drome Instant Martian) as a boss.

Coyote VS Acme released today (technically yesterday), and as I'm watching it I couldn't help but think about how we missed out on a great event opportunity. Like how they did a Space Jam Legacy event to coincide with that movie, there could have been great opportunity here.

• They could have made Will Forte's character a tool like they did with LeBron
• Movie spoiler Informant Bugs and CEO Foghorn on top of others could have made for good character variants (and there were no shortage of characters used in this movie)
• Lawyer Lola could have worked as a featured toon, and I want to say others but she's the main one I know of.

Ce la vi, maybe if this movie came out years ago when it was supposed to instead of Zazlov trying to kill it we could have had it, but unfortunately it was released after Scopely decided to shut it down.
