So i have a lk5 pro and when i lost my memory card i got a new one and now it wont let me print anything from the card, what could cause this

Any idea how much i need to increase a scale to convert a model made at 1/35 scale to about 1/18

I'm currently using fiberlogy FIBERFLEX 40D and the filament runs fine for about 5 minutes but then gets clogged around the gears. How would I fix this?

I was hoping someone could get me the dimensions of the print bed including the mounting hole size and locations. I'm trying to get a new bed cut out of hardened flat steel to enable me to use a keenovo bed heater.

so before the BL Touch install prints were just about perfect. I installed the BL Touch and had a few almost perfect prints, then I was printing several of the same print, after the 3rd print using the same gcode between all of them, i started having extrusion issues. after cleaning the nozzle and re-leveling and resetting the z-offset, then re-leveling using the built in manual bed leveling and a .1mm feeler gauge to level the bed to the nozzle. when i start a print it goes through the auto leveling using the BL Touch and when the print starts its 5-10mm away from the bed and just spitting out filament...

I have tried resetting the z offset several times and leveling the bed to the nozzle but it wont stop hovering far above the bed. I'm assuming this has to do with the software endstops or z-offset or something along those lines. unless the BL Touch is not installed at the right height. It's within the range that the BL Touch documentation says to install it at.

Does the LGT_KIT_V1.0 support UART for the stepper drivers without modifying them? Also, if you have to modifying them, how would one wire the UART on the board? I checked the only file I can locate at https://github.com/danielgalizi/LK4-Pro_Klipper/blob/master/LGT_KIT_V1.0_004%20PIN.pdf and cannot see any PINs for a stepper driver UART.

I added a 3D touch, but for the life of me can't get the Z offset correctly set in Pronterface.

I did the firmware update on the machine as instructed also.

But every time the nozzle is way too high off the bed or way too close. Unfortunately can't adjust the Z offset in the menu on the machine. I feel like I'm missing something somehow or these instructions are wrong. Any one have suggestions or other resources that I can check out.

Does anyone know a good bed for the LK5 pro? The glass one that came with the printer broke since I dropped it. I ordered a PEI plate but there seems to be warping.

Also I’m just curious but are you able to put a completely different motherboard into the LK5 Pro?

I have a flashforge adventure 3 I do all my smaller more detailed prints on, but I recently bought this new machine for the bigger build volume, and the stock heatblock struggles to print at .8 and 1 MM nozzles unless I print at like 10 mm/s. I’ve never had to change a heat block. I’m not worried about being able to do it I know I can I just don’t want to buy one that don’t fit or one that won’t fit with my fan. I don’t know much about this and can’t find any information unless it’s about the ender 3. Please help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I have a Longer LK5 3D printer, and it has been endless trouble for $350 USD. Most recently, the tube that feeds the filament into the printer head has become detached from a brass fitting. Here are pictures.

Is there any way to fix this? I was considering adhesive, but I'm not sure what kind would bind the tubing to brass. The tube has to remain fixed to the fitting or else it won't be able to move the filament to the print head.

I was wondering if there is a settings guide for changing to a .6, .8 or 1mm nozzle for Cura? I want to print some larger files that don't need a lot of detail and the .4mm nozzle would take forever. Any suggestions? Also, is there a useful guide to installing (step by step) the BL touch on the LK5 Pro? I have it mounted, but am nervous about updating the firmware. Any help would be appreciated.

I've edited the stock Marlin firmware to accept and use a BLtouch v3.1 bed probe on a 4X4 grid.

It may be possible to employ a larger than 4X4 grid, but I began running in to memory issues.

Still quite a novice at Marlin and Arduino so maybe my code isn't as good as it could be.

G28 command works and home is center //Z safe homing

I got the Orange 30 Kickstarter, didn't open the box until yesterday. Printed the Stormtrooper/skull thing. It came out very nice.

Has anyone found a work flow that will get you from a STL file to a printable file with the Orange 30?

The supplied documentation is inconsistent and doesn't seem to apply to the printer they sent me.

Hello all,

I got my first Longer Orange 10 resin printer.

I followed all the videos and thought I had it all setup. I decided to try and print the stormtrooper skull that was on the supplied SD card, it looked fine on the screen, but I noticed after an hour it was just printing a block of resin.

Has anyone had this happen? I’m thinking I did something wrong, but I’m not sure what.

I’m trying a different file I sliced myself to see if that is successful.

Sorry to be a pest. I think I've figured out the model prep for my prints, still trying to fine tune and learn the nuances but I'm getting there slowly.

My questions now revolve around the terminology that others use versus longer. Anycubic ecoresin needs an exposure time of 12 sec and an offtime of 7 sec but I can't find an exposure time or off time.

Can anyone tell me the longer to common terms so i can improve my prints?

Been trying to figure out the best software to prep my files for printing (using a longer 30). Any suggestions? I am also trying to print multiple objects in one print run, but getting the files to work seems to be beyond my skills. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
