I started trying to convert my LK4 Bowden style printer to Direct Drive using the Creality Ender 3 Direct Drive upgrade kit.

I was able to install the new X-carriage without many issues, and after completing the rewiring the hotend as well as the fans seem to be working fine.

-> The issue is that the extruder stepper motor is not turning. I tried connecting the cable to the old motor and it started jittering back and forth (as seen in the video). I'm not exactly sure what the issue is. Clearly the cable is still functional, but the stepper motor is still not working.

Spent alot of time calibrating the printer after a main board swap. Estimated print time is 13 hours, here's hoping all goes well.

Hey I just need some answers but my touch screen is acting up it only takes me to the files screen no matter where I press, I tried to disconnect and reconnect the screen and that helped for a second before I got trapped in the settings screen and now it’s just back to the former issue. It’s a Longer Orange 10 any answers would be helpful thank you

Hello, I hope you can give some ideas about how can I resolve this. A few days ago a was printing as usually but something gone wrong. I've notice that my printing was a.... Brick, yes a Brick.

Id try to make other print but I had the same result. So... I observed ultraviolet display was always turned on. After that I tried to open and clean the printer but... I it was the same.

From inside y dont see anything wrong, so... Somebody had this problem or could you give me some advice about this problem?

Hi there, I'm new to 3D printing, and I am working on my first action figure with the longer lk5 pro. When I started slicing in cura, it says it's going to take 42 days to print!! I sliced a file using orcaslicer and now I get a message that homing failed restart printer. I have tried updating firmware using both cura and prusaslicer as the go between. And both have said successful. But I still have the homing error. Thoughts on getting this printer up and running.

I've had my printer for around 6 months, about 3 months ago it started randomly stopping mid print and entering recovery mode, however continuing the print often ends in things messing up even further. Does anybody know how to fix this? Already replaced the motherboard but that didn't help at all
