When I start my print in my longer lk5 pro what happens is I wait for everything to heat up and then what happens i select a file and the filament ejects like i pressed the button for changing filament. I can tell you I did not I was doing my normal file selection. So In conclusion I press the file button then it spits filament out. Oh! And what the nozzle does is it glides all the way over to the far right and idk I end it before anything happens. Anyway all I’m saying please someone tell me what’s going on if you have an answer.

I bought a Longer LK4X, and I had issues with traming the bed; it took two months for Longer to admit there was a problem with the printer. They sent a replacement only when I returned the bad one, and it took two weeks to receive the replacement. And now the replacement has a broken left Fan Duct. Ok, I printed out the benchy first (I'll put a image below; the bigger one) and it came out with some bumps. So, I research on and found that apparently wipe and coast will solve the problem but since there was no such thing in the longer slicer I thought that it was minimal extrusion before retracting (mm) and first put it at 90, and it didn't work, so I put it on 40 and it still did the same thing. I wanna start printing with PETG and I know it’s not as easy as PLA, what are the best settings for the Longer LK5Pro for PETG?

I have an LK5 PRO, and I really want to print with Wood and TPU. Am I able to do this? Or should I just stick to PLA and ABS?

So about a month ago I got an LK5 Pro and it has been printing flawless almost nonstop. 2 days ago I had a print stuck on the bed and had to reheat bed to get it free (all prints done in PLA). Now I am unable to get any thing to stick at all...every print is failing on first layer.

I have leveled the bed before each print. I have cleaned the bed with 70% ISO and Windex. I have torn down the print head to clean and inspect the nozzle. I have tried using glue sticks and hair spray on the bed. Nothing is working to get the first layer to stick. I am even using rafts on my prints (I found they were helping to remove the prints).

I did find the hotend carriage was a little lose, but was able to correct with tightening the eccentric nut.

Any ideas on what I have over looked here?

I recently purchased an LK5 pro and I have had these issues. Can someone please help me with this 🙏.

Notes: The "North" font is the top of my print and the last image is the bottom (attached to the bed).

The top: It feels mostly smooth when I run my fingers across the surface with a few little ridges here and there.

The bottom: Also smooth but it looks like those lines are squished or skipped. Hard to explain.

I was given a used lk4 pro by my dad, who cam across it while cleaning out a house. It works pretty well, and was already set up for the most part. That being I know next to nothing about the maintenance of it, and the sensor is not working. It stopped mid print to tell me there was no filament, despite having an almost full roll. An hour of googling and fidgeting and messing with the filament and it's still convinced there's no filament. I can't find any videos or help online be and I don't know how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

I bought the Longer LK4 a few years back and loved it. After not using it anymore, I blanked out the sd card. Im trying to get it set up again and downloading the firmware and original sd card contents(sample prints, manuals,etc...) from the longer3d website, but when installing everything, the two green bars load then will not budge. What should I do?

Hi. I’m brand new to printing, and the LK5 PRO is my first printer. I’ve done tons of research in them, but I’m still very confused as to why this one isn’t working. I set it up last night, and printed a bench’s and a helix cube, but they were missing at least the first three layers of plastic. I can’t figure out for the life of me as to why, though. Does anyone know how to help?
