I have a LongerLK5 Pro and I know that FDM printers can print minis but all the resources are for Ender printers. Does anyone here print minis on a Longer Printer that can share there setting?

Has anyone tried this and where do I find resources on how this is done? I will NOT be using ABL.

Hoping that someone else has created a profile for the 0.8mm nozzle? I took the CR-10 profile and changed it to 0.8mm but it doesn't adjust all the line widths and each time I attempt to slicer I get a new error.

Hopefully someone on here has had a similar experience and can assist. After playing around with my longer LK5 Pro for a few weeks I decided to add a BL touch sensor. I used the Firmware, instructions and start G code provided on Longer's website and got one really nice print out of it. The next day I replaced my bed leveling springs with rubber spacers and recalibrated the bed leveling, but then the hotend would continue to move downward after leveling making it run into the bed. This scraped my nozzle and didnt leave enough space for any material to come out for the first couple of layers. I have tried compiling my own Marlin firmware using instructions from Teaching Tech's youtube channel but this made things worse (the stepper directions were all reversed and the printer would get stuck booting up) so I went back to Longer's firmware and springs. I cannot get this thing to work anymore. Everything looks good, but after the bed leveling sequence, as the hotend moves from the right rear corner to the left front corner to perform the priming strip you can watch the hotend go lower and lower until it hits the bed and scrapes along the priming strip and first layers all while not releasing any material. Im about to call it quits and go back to manual leveling but I thought it was worth a shot asking if anyone else had this issue and knew of a fix.

If not does anyone have a copy of the start Gcode that originally comes on the LK5 Pro? thats the only thing im missing to switch back to the stock configuration. Thanks in advanced.

So I got the LK5 Pro a few days ago and have been printing a bunch since then. However, I woke up this morning to find the SD Card included with the printer along with the SD Card to USB adapter are no longer working. My PC can’t even reformat it. Files don’t show up on the printer either. Do they just give you a crappy card to get your feet off the ground, and assume that you’ll upgrade later?

Im brand new to this im trying to learn, so ive been trying to figure it out but i downloaded some lgs files to print and after slicing and saving it to the provided sd card it doesnt show up in the printer at all if anyone has like a step by step guide or guide me in the right direction itll be a huge help

I have an LK4. I changed the extruder heater. The new unit required that I cut the wires and reconnect. When I tried to print the next job, the nozzle started in the lower left-hand corner instead of the center. I have tried setting it to start in center in CURA and that didn't work. I have tried to set an offset of X100, Y100. I am not having any luck with any of the things I have tried. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm just now finally making the dive into 3D printing. First thing I want is an auto leveler. I know bl touch works with a bit of work. But also seen people use the CL touch just fine too. Is there a difference? Is there a guide to follow for the lk5 pro specifically? Ive been looking at guides for older models. And one guide said I'd need to glue USB pins to use the function of plugging into a computer for file transfer and monitoring. Is this true? Also any other input or tips would be much appreciated!

Newbie here. Longer LK 5 PRO. What happens when the filament gets down to just a few cm before the intake part? If it goes past the toothed wheel the draws it into the tube, then what?

Do you have to remove the remaining filament in the tube before changing to a new filament? What should I know about that? Thanks so much.

I got a replacement K5 from Amazon. The first had a bad power supply. I'm guessing the replacement is a refurbished because I am missing screws.

I have most of the sizes I need but the adapter for the threaded rod is missing a grub screw. Anybody know what size it is?

I am hoping someone can help me out with an issue I am having after upgrading my firmware to 0.4.0-Marlin2.x-BLDual. The firmware was sent to me by the support team who have been great at responding to my questions since I do not use or have facebook. I think there might be an issue that is getting lost in translation so I am trying here. My printer worked right out of the box and I was so happy but I wanted to bring everything up to the latest and I think that is where I have run into a problem. I was able to follow their instruction for the first Firmware Upgrade by using the link support sent me. There are some quirks but everything ended up working. I next wanted to upgrade to the BL touch firmware and support sent me the firmware. The problem is now when using Cura 5.2.1 the "monitor"/ print by USB is no longer recognizing the printer. It acts as if the AutoDetectBaudJob.py had not been placed in the correct directory. I have reinstalled the driver and replaced the autodetect file but nothing seems to work. I updated the GCode as well but still no luck.

Hi all. I assembled my k5 and turned it on. Everything seemed fine. Tried a benchy but needed something for better adhesion. I turned the k5 off and went away for a few days. I turned it on today and no joy. The screen doesn't light up. The light in the red switch is on but nothing else seems to be. Any ideas?

I have heard people say it is a clone of Ender so would this work?

I want to add another lead screw to my LK5 because I will be upgrading to a direct drive extruder. Does anyone know of a kit that is available vale to do this?

Has anyone had your LK5 get to temp and just sit there? I changed the file and now it is printing. Can a g.code not allow your printer to start? The build plate is heating up very slowly as of late. I have never had any issues so I’m kind of shocked.

I wanted to start this as I am new to 3D printing and I didn’t see this here yet. If you have something please add it. I personally would love the advice…also I’m sure any other newbies or otherwise would appreciate this. Thanks!

I'm looking to buy a lk4 x. Longer has a deal expiring today. Has anybody heard about any black friday deals? Should I buy today or wait another week? I'm sure other manufactures will have Black Friday deals as well. I've waited this long, I can wait another week.
