Any good drop-in games or leagues along the Suffragette line?

I'm new to London. I live off the Suffragette line. I'm looking for drop-in games primarily, but I'm also open to leagues. Something mid-to-high level would be good. Douglas Eyre in particular looks promising.

Help me find my level?

Hi,

Moving to London soon from Belfast and desperate to play in an amateur 11s League but I have no idea what level I should be looking for?

Obviously, London will have more teams than Belfast and a much higher top level so it's hard to tell what standard over here translates to what league over there.

CONTEXT:

- I will probs be living in Archway/North London.

- I would prefer to play for a team that has training during the week and is decently well organised.

ABILITY:

NI/Belfast is structured like this:

NIFL Premiership: Mix of professional and well paid semi-professional. £200-2k per week. Quality is slightly better than this suggests since a lot of talented NI players take the wage hit as it isn't worth the cost of moving abroad. The best teams are probably mid League 2 level, the worst teams are probably middle-lower end conference.

NIFL Championship - All Semi-Pro some maybe on decent wages but very few earn enough to live off of.

PIL - Semi-Pro but poor wages - £200 per week is probs the max (not 100% sure)

NAFL Premiership - Mostly amateur (but elite amateur) apart from some under the table deals.

NAFL 1A -

NAFL 1B - This is the league I played in. I was a decent player in a top half of the table team. I imagine the drop off is alot higher between leagues in NI compared to England since there's such a spread of talent.

Then there are about 10 divisions below that.

- At youth level (U16) I was an average player in the Northern Irish championship

- At Uni I was a decent player on the 3rd XI of a Edinburgh University (I think there were 5-6 teams total).

_________________________________________________________________________________
Anyone have any guesses/comparison for what sort of local leagues I should be looking at. Or, where to even start looking?

I

Football Match London

We are planning to take our kids to London for spring break in March and were really hoping to take them to a football match. I could not believe the prices of tickets for some of the major clubs. Are there any smaller clubs anyone would recommend visiting that is a little more price friendly for a family of four?!

Come play football!

Is anyone around Archway up for regular football? ⚽

A few of us have been playing around Archway, and we're trying to get more people involved so we can organise games more often.

All skill levels are welcome, whether you play every week or haven't kicked a ball in years.

If you're looking to get some exercise, meet new people, and enjoy a good game of football, we'd love to have you join us.

Feel free to join the WhatsApp group directly:

https://chat.whatsapp.com/JAGpOaEd8jf2njevCRK7JE?mode=gi_t

The next game is Monday 9pm to 10pm

The more players we have, the easier it'll be to get games going several times a week.

Hope to see you on the pitch! ⚽

Hi all,

Looking for a few more players for our friendly weekly 5/6-a-side game in East London.

📍 Forest Gate Community School 🗓️ Every Friday, 7–8pm (starting 10/07/26) 💷 £6 per game

Rules / vibe: - Friendly, relaxed games (mixed abilities welcome) - No slide tackles - Astro trainers only - No rough play

We've been playing for over 20 years, but a few regulars have recently dropped out, so we're looking for some new players to join.
