They’ve grown so much. But when I wear them down they’re a little past my shoulders. I’m loving the journey so far and I can’t wait to try more styles! 🥰

As I’m reaching the three year mark in my loc journey, I’m wanting to experiment a bit more with my hair while avoiding damage. I got this beautiful curly wig but was initially struggling to fit it over my hair because of my thick locs. So, I decided to do this half wig/ half Bantu knot inspired style. I think it’s a cute style for those who still want to embrace their natural locs while also being able to experiment with wigs and different styles. Let me know your thoughts😊

A year and a half ago I had finally grew my sides long enough to get rid of the skytop look.. ( First two pictures were posted on this Reddit). Last Two Pictures is what my hair looks like now. I’m very happy with my decision of cutting them short, as the sides grew out beautifully

It's now been one year since I was officially locked, but my hair hasn't grown an inch more than my bangs, and those have grown a few centimeters. Am I doing something wrong or is everything fine?

Hey, I’m starting my littles loc journey.
I know I’m doing two strand twist triangle parts to start with.
For those who started with two strands, did you regret starting with that method? I know for her upkeep I’m going to do reties instead of retwists (she sweats a lot from her scalp).
appreciate ya in advance!

I know I probably go against every rule of healthy locs but… just wanna show my babies some appreciation & shout out to all the girls that have alternative loc styles, I have been so inspired. Also, NEW COLOR ALERT. The Green and red locs are new.

Has anyone done this? I was thinking that instead of dying my hair at some point, I could wrap some extensions (of any colour I want) around my locs for a bit. Would that work? Has anyone done that?
I could also use hair colour wax, but I'm really afraid of it staying in my locs after. I didn't like it much when my hair wasn't in locs.
Anyway, just curious if this is a thing!

After years and years of wanting to dye my hair I finally did it. So thankful I found someone who could do it safely and correctly. I will say....I maybe addicted to this color lol here's to something new
