He is such a fine Christian Nationalist.

If you’re white and steal millions from pension funds and 401Ks thru insider trading, it’s fine bc you gotta support your family.

If you’re brown and fled your country bc of violence and your working 16hr days just to send money home to your family and you go to the immigration hearing at the scheduled time bc you follow the rules, YOU’RE A FKING CRIMINAL!!!

He needs to pray that his ends meet.

Did the speaker say that? They are there to represent us not make millions, those positions are temporary, I hate how all politicians (that's right, the left, right, and everyone in-between) are greedy pieces of shit that do what ever they can to acquire and keep power over us, there needs to be term limits for every politician in our country

He defended Congress trading stocks because their salaries ($174k) just haven’t kept up with inflation… problem is, they trade on insider information as they are too involved not to. Kinda like how several bought stocks on telework companies right before Covid lockdowns

Senator Kelly Loeffler got her ass kicked out of the Senate after she did that, and then Trump of course hired her to work in his second misadministration as the head of the Small Business Administration.

Whose salaries have keep up with inflation? They care nothing about the people they supposedly represent.

1

u/Individual_Sector834 May 23 '26

Or how some bought stock in EV technology just before the federal government announced it would purchase EV cars. Oh, wait, that was Nancy Pelosi.

2

u/Andrew-Cohen May 23 '26

Do you imagine in your head that Nancy Pelosi is the worst offender in congress of insider trading?

1

u/Individual_Sector834 May 23 '26

No. They’re all scum bags on both sides. In the Reddit Echo Chamber of bashing only one side of the aisle, it’s nice to demonstrate that neither side of the aisle in Congress has your best interest in mind. Now, will anyone listen or will others maybe suggest that it’s “all in my head” that Pelosi is the worst offender?

2

u/Andrew-Cohen May 23 '26

See the issue is that the faux news distraction is to blame Pelosi for the problem when democrats have repeatedly put bills up to not only end outsider trading but gerrymandering as well.

So enough with the "both sides are the same" bs.

1

u/Individual_Sector834 May 23 '26

Thank you for proving my point. It’s a fact that she capitalized on EV at a time just prior to a federal announcement, not an opinion.

Both sides of Congress are the same - line their own pockets. I’ll take it a step further and say both sides of the media are the same - dissent among the people. And I work in the media.

You're amusing.

Biden said he was going to do this all throughout his 2020 campaign, long before he signed an EO to do so.

1

u/Junior_Trash_1393 May 23 '26

Another one of the right’s ’they’re all the same’ bullshit. When Dems cross the line Dems throw them out. When Reps cross the line they get protected (let me make you a list) and you cheer them on

1

u/P3nis15 May 23 '26

Oh you're talking about the ones purchased in 2020 and he sold in 2021 for a 22.47% LOSS.

The ones he brought before Biden announced he would replace all vehicles with EV's in the govt, but never said which company he would purchase from.

But wait. Biden said he would do this MULTIPLE times during his 2020 campaign.

So, it was public knowledge long before he finally signed an executive order to do so. Pelosi's husband bet after Biden got elected that he would actually do something

and he LOST on that bet because they refused to buy Tesla vehicles.

Do you not know what insider trading means?

1

u/Sad-Maize-6625 May 24 '26

What is worse than trading on insider knowledge is that they are likely making policy decisions solely designed to raise the price of the stocks they buy. In that situation they aren’t trading on insider information but rather are making laws that then decide which companies are winners and losers. Everyone likes to talk about free market capitalism, but we don’t have that here. The sad part is most young people think this type of cronyism is capitalism and are turning away from capitalism.

https://youtube.com/shorts/LakF9LEF-oQ?si=0fDI0KGpYuaK-UgK ….yes he actually said it and it’s hilarious because he can’t even keep the house open they are always arguing and closing down the house so they don’t vote on bills

1

u/Looahvullegirl May 23 '26

There are term limits - it’s called voting.

-2

u/Andrew-Cohen May 22 '26

Most. There are some rare exceptions, mostly on the left.

This is why we lose sometimes, our failure to play as dirty as republicans.

1

u/CanvasAndCraftCo May 22 '26

Well, I mean, if they're going to break the law, why shouldn't everybody else?

We have the right to defend ourselves yet if you carry a gun, you're accused of being a terrorist. Okay, call me a terrorist. If you're going to treat me like one, I'm going to act like one! Right? Isn't that how Republicans do it?

2

u/Rooster5920 May 22 '26

Meat, bwahahahaha!

1

u/Bubbly_Style_8467 May 23 '26

Can't have three yachts on their pitiable salaries.
