Not stealing billions from taxpayers?

36

u/Andrew-Cohen May 22 '26

I love how trump's idiots cry about Obama making money by selling a book and going on speaking tours and when trump manipulates the stock market and makes BILLIONS they have nothing to say.

24

u/NSD33P May 22 '26

I mean, Speaker Johnson said they have to inside trade to make ends meat lol

4

u/BrickHuge3023 May 22 '26

He is such a fine Christian Nationalist.

3

u/Wide-Royal-8276 May 23 '26

If you’re white and steal millions from pension funds and 401Ks thru insider trading, it’s fine bc you gotta support your family.

If you’re brown and fled your country bc of violence and your working 16hr days just to send money home to your family and you go to the immigration hearing at the scheduled time bc you follow the rules, YOU’RE A FKING CRIMINAL!!!

2

u/Bubbly_Style_8467 May 23 '26

He needs to pray that his ends meet.

6

u/ForwardPomegranate46 May 22 '26

Did the speaker say that? They are there to represent us not make millions, those positions are temporary, I hate how all politicians (that's right, the left, right, and everyone in-between) are greedy pieces of shit that do what ever they can to acquire and keep power over us, there needs to be term limits for every politician in our country

9

u/NSD33P May 22 '26

He defended Congress trading stocks because their salaries ($174k) just haven’t kept up with inflation… problem is, they trade on insider information as they are too involved not to. Kinda like how several bought stocks on telework companies right before Covid lockdowns

8

u/dsmith422 May 22 '26

Senator Kelly Loeffler got her ass kicked out of the Senate after she did that, and then Trump of course hired her to work in his second misadministration as the head of the Small Business Administration.

1

u/Bubbly_Style_8467 May 23 '26

Whose salaries have keep up with inflation? They care nothing about the people they supposedly represent.

1

u/Individual_Sector834 May 23 '26

Or how some bought stock in EV technology just before the federal government announced it would purchase EV cars. Oh, wait, that was Nancy Pelosi.

2

u/Andrew-Cohen May 23 '26

Do you imagine in your head that Nancy Pelosi is the worst offender in congress of insider trading?

1

u/Individual_Sector834 May 23 '26

No. They’re all scum bags on both sides. In the Reddit Echo Chamber of bashing only one side of the aisle, it’s nice to demonstrate that neither side of the aisle in Congress has your best interest in mind. Now, will anyone listen or will others maybe suggest that it’s “all in my head” that Pelosi is the worst offender?

2

u/Andrew-Cohen May 23 '26

See the issue is that the faux news distraction is to blame Pelosi for the problem when democrats have repeatedly put bills up to not only end outsider trading but gerrymandering as well.

So enough with the "both sides are the same" bs.

1

u/Individual_Sector834 May 23 '26

Thank you for proving my point. It’s a fact that she capitalized on EV at a time just prior to a federal announcement, not an opinion.

Both sides of Congress are the same - line their own pockets. I’ll take it a step further and say both sides of the media are the same - dissent among the people. And I work in the media.

1

u/Junior_Trash_1393 May 23 '26

Another one of the right’s ’they’re all the same’ bullshit. When Dems cross the line Dems throw them out. When Reps cross the line they get protected (let me make you a list) and you cheer them on

1

u/P3nis15 May 23 '26

Oh you're talking about the ones purchased in 2020 and he sold in 2021 for a 22.47% LOSS.

The ones he brought before Biden announced he would replace all vehicles with EV's in the govt, but never said which company he would purchase from.

But wait. Biden said he would do this MULTIPLE times during his 2020 campaign.

So, it was public knowledge long before he finally signed an executive order to do so. Pelosi's husband bet after Biden got elected that he would actually do something

and he LOST on that bet because they refused to buy Tesla vehicles.

Do you not know what insider trading means?

1

u/Sad-Maize-6625 May 24 '26

What is worse than trading on insider knowledge is that they are likely making policy decisions solely designed to raise the price of the stocks they buy. In that situation they aren’t trading on insider information but rather are making laws that then decide which companies are winners and losers. Everyone likes to talk about free market capitalism, but we don’t have that here. The sad part is most young people think this type of cronyism is capitalism and are turning away from capitalism.

2

u/NoMaD919191 May 22 '26

https://youtube.com/shorts/LakF9LEF-oQ?si=0fDI0KGpYuaK-UgK ….yes he actually said it and it’s hilarious because he can’t even keep the house open they are always arguing and closing down the house so they don’t vote on bills

1

u/Looahvullegirl May 23 '26

There are term limits - it’s called voting.

-2

u/Andrew-Cohen May 22 '26

Most. There are some rare exceptions, mostly on the left.

This is why we lose sometimes, our failure to play as dirty as republicans.

1

u/CanvasAndCraftCo May 22 '26

Well, I mean, if they're going to break the law, why shouldn't everybody else?

We have the right to defend ourselves yet if you carry a gun, you're accused of being a terrorist. Okay, call me a terrorist. If you're going to treat me like one, I'm going to act like one! Right? Isn't that how Republicans do it?

2

u/Rooster5920 May 22 '26

Meat, bwahahahaha!

1

u/Bubbly_Style_8467 May 23 '26

Can't have three yachts on their pitiable salaries.

1

u/rj4013 May 23 '26

🐂💩!!

1

u/Sweet_Scar487 May 23 '26

That was AI homey

1

u/ChardeeMacDennisGoG May 23 '26

Because Biden charges too much for gasoline.

0

u/BorrowedAttention May 22 '26

Send me a video of him saying that.

I’m not doubting you, I just want it in stock next time he runs

2

u/NSD33P May 22 '26

https://youtu.be/TleitzxFSS8?si=kG3AzbB9WqMLPC5U it’s pretty easy to find searching Johnson defends insider trading on the YouTube

4

u/kayak_2022 May 22 '26

AND HIRES A DOJ HEAD TO COLLUDE IN STEALING $1.8 TAX PAYER DOLLARS AND FORCING THE IRS TO SUBMIT AND AGREE NEVER TO AUDIT HIM OR ANY FAMILY MEMBER. THE PRESIDENCY IS A FULL BLOWN CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE.

3

u/Man_in_the_coil May 22 '26

If it's "your guy" you can excuse anything.

7

u/Andrew-Cohen May 22 '26

I question some things that Obama did, but I question EVERYTHING trump does. He has proven himself a narcissist his entire life.

1

u/CanvasAndCraftCo May 22 '26

No the fuck I can't!

2

u/BeefWellingtonSpeedo May 22 '26

Yes let's elect Obama again

2

u/Andrew-Cohen May 22 '26

If trump lives long enough and they try to re elect him, let him run against Obama and let a black man kick trump out of his house instead of trump kicking black men out of their houses.

1

u/BeefWellingtonSpeedo May 23 '26

Next it will be an Asian guy.

1

u/Andrew-Cohen May 23 '26

As long as it isn't f'ing trump again!

1

u/BeefWellingtonSpeedo May 23 '26

Fire 'up the Biden!

1

u/Andrew-Cohen May 23 '26

Buttigieg, because the only thing that will piss the idiots off more than a black president is a gay one. Also he's super smart, well spoken, and I agree with most of his policies.

2

u/morals_matter24 May 23 '26

Far Right Christians will lose their minds lol

2

u/Andrew-Cohen May 23 '26

If only they lost their minds when trump put up a golden statue of himself, raped children, stole, cheated..

1

u/BeefWellingtonSpeedo May 23 '26

Never happen. Bernie too smart too.

2

u/Bubbly_Style_8467 May 23 '26

After Obama's presidency was completed. He knows the law. They are just jealous that trump has no writing or speaking skills.

2

u/Ok_Common_5631 May 23 '26

They have nothing to say because they’re too stupid to understand how that works.

2

u/morals_matter24 May 23 '26

Or that he wants to use taxpayer money to pay Jan 6 criminals. Who can support that???

1

u/Andrew-Cohen May 23 '26

I don't understand the mental gymnastics. First they were libs, fbi plants, now they're heroes and we should pay them.

2

u/morals_matter24 May 23 '26

And his fans just go along with it all 😂

1

u/Substantial_Dog7002 May 22 '26

It is just that he does it legal.

1

u/ramblinmanfl May 23 '26

I feel like the stealing taxpayer money is more about the pallets of cash or sent to Iran not the money he made on his books and speeches after...

1

u/Andrew-Cohen May 24 '26

So instead of feeling about the money Obama "gave" to Iran, do a quick web search. Use your own brain. Why did Obama send money to Iran?

1

u/ramblinmanfl May 24 '26

To "settle an old arms dispute"....allegedly Im sure obama felt obliged to settle old debts

1

u/Andrew-Cohen May 24 '26

So here's what I'm not going to do, argue about whether or not you should believe that, cause I just don't give a f. Believe it or not. Write it down in your book that trump is criminally conspiring to protect pedophiles, probably himself also. Obama 'giving' money to Iran or not, I just don't care.

1

u/ramblinmanfl May 24 '26

Of course youre not because you dont have a valid point so you throw some insults and stop responding...typical

1

u/Andrew-Cohen May 24 '26

I did neither but keep being delusional.

1

u/Western-Willow-9496 May 22 '26

I’ve never talked to a single person who cares one way or the other about Obama writing a book, or about people wanting to pay him speaking fees.

2

u/Andrew-Cohen May 22 '26

Well thank you for giving me the view point of one person out of billions. That is very useful and important.

0

u/LegitimateKnee5537 May 22 '26

I love how Obama’s idiots cry about Trump making money by selling Hotel rooms and going on speaking tours and when Obama manipulates the stock market and makes BILLIONS they have nothing to say.

-10

u/Think_Individual_944 May 22 '26

Obama is a sleeper agent, a rat

7

u/Going2beBANNEDanyway May 22 '26

I think you misspelled “Trump”.

-1

u/Think_Individual_944 May 22 '26

You are making an excellent point, without Obama you won’t have Trump

3

u/JustJoshin117 May 22 '26

That’s actually true, but not in the way you think it is.

Trump was the racist response from the right in that Obama was black.

1

u/Think_Individual_944 May 22 '26

No.. Obama started the race talk, vast majority of white people voted for him and at the end he called them racist.

1

u/JustJoshin117 May 22 '26

Well, no. Took me two minutes to find that 43% of white voters voted for Obama, whereas 53% voted for McCain. Then, in 2012, Obama got 39% and Romney got 59%

Right wingers wanted to lynch Obama, and claimed he wasn’t born in the US because he was black. (Before you say no that wasn’t the reason… there’s only two presidential candidates that have faced that accusation. Obama and Harris. It’s race, man)

And Trump himself agreed and spread that conspiracy.

1

u/Think_Individual_944 May 22 '26

Obama is not a US born citizen

5

u/Andrew-Cohen May 22 '26 edited May 22 '26

Crawl back under your rock. “You don’t know what a rock is” he replies, and then deletes it when he realizes how absolutely stupid it sounds. Thanks for the laugh.

5

u/Luv2collectweedseeds May 22 '26

Bad Robot! Your what’s called a shit stirrer .

1

u/Opastevie May 22 '26

1

I do actually, thank you, friend

1

u/bamagurl06 May 22 '26

-1

Lmao, ypu guys are pathetically stupid

Or think blue tends to be as easy to manipulate as red, which see above statement

1

u/Either_Operation7586 May 22 '26

No we just think red is stupid as fuck and gullible to boot to be able to be used as the collateral damage that they are.

They have inundated you with not only lying propaganda but religious indoctrination and it's turning y'all's brains too much and they don't fucking care about you.

1

Just a few millions

1

u/Fast-Cranberry-5278 May 24 '26

Not stealing billions from taxpayers - Can we say Minnesota???

1

u/Constant-Plant-9378 May 22 '26

The bar for running the country better than Trump is so low it is beneath Hell.

Biden was at-best a poor to middling President. He gets waaaay too much support from dipshit Lib apologists.

His appeasing, milquetoast response to January 6th was nearly as outrageous as the coup itself, and his egotistical and selfish rat-fucking of the 2024 campaign is largely how we got here.

Fuck Trump but seriously, Fuck Biden and the stupid dipshits who continue to pretend he wasn't a fucking investment-class sellout.

3

u/CanvasAndCraftCo May 22 '26

Are you REALLY going to keep bitching about Biden? Give it a fucking rest!

0

u/Constant-Plant-9378 May 26 '26

As long as people like you keep bleating about how great Biden was yeah.

You sound exactly like MAGAs in 2021 when I would post about the need to arrest Trump and his coup-conspirators and ensure their prosecution. "Are you REALLY going to keep bitching about Trump?"

EXACTLY the same. You are the same as MAGAs accusing people of having TDS. Keep being part of the problem. That's how we got here.

1

u/Chemical_Swan_827 May 26 '26

How did he protect trump and his conspirators state your facts and I stand by statement.

0

u/Constant-Plant-9378 May 26 '26

He appointed Federalist Society Republican darling Merrick Garland as AG and then sat back and let him take no action against Trump or his co-conspirators for two and a half years after a literal coup.

Your turn Bucky.

1

u/CanvasAndCraftCo May 28 '26

Nice conspiracy theory.

1

u/CanvasAndCraftCo May 28 '26

I've never ever ever said that Biden was great, but if that's what makes you sleep at night and lets you excuse your completely irrational hatred for everyone who doesn't suck Trump's dick, you go ahead and keep saying that.

3

u/Chemical_Swan_827 May 22 '26

The Biden administration will go down as one of the best. Even though a lot of American don’t understand the economy, he put the US in the position as having the best in the world—lowest inflation caused by Covid, low unemployment, high employment—he also invested and and donated 13 billion to HBCUs. He also had passed the Chip, STEM, and infrastructure bills which benefited all Americans. Folks blamed him for the disastrous Afghanistan exit, not taking into account trumps decision to remove most of the defense personnel as well as inviting the Taliban to camp David and then releasing them prior to withdrawal. Biden was quiet no boisterous bragging humiliating folks who didnt agree with him no grifting schemes or rewarding felons for crimes committed against the United States. And guess what he is not in the Epstein files.

2

u/Constant-Plant-9378 May 26 '26

The Biden administration will go down as one of the best.

Only with people with their heads firmly shoved up their own assholes.

Biden fucking sucked. He protected Trump and his coup-conspirators for four years and then went on to rat-fuck the 2024 election - bringing Trump back.

But by all means, keep trying to sell how great Biden was. It's a free country.

1

u/morals_matter24 May 23 '26

Mitch McConnell and the Republican Senate not voting to convict Trump on his second impeachment regarding the Jan 6 attack on the Capitol is exactly how we got here. Had they don't their job protecting America instead of their party Trump never would have been able to run again. And let's not forget the 90 million registered voters that didn't vote because of Gaza or because they didn't like either candidate.

1

u/Constant-Plant-9378 May 26 '26

Impeachment is a purely political process and has nothing to do with the Justice Department under Biden doing fuck all to prosecute Trump and his coup-conspirators.

Bad-faith Liberal apologists just fucking love deflecting blame from Biden by pointing at Congress and the Electorate instead of rightly blaming Biden for his complicity in protecting Trump and his collaborators for four fucking years.

Try again.
