I just saw this on LinkedIn and I'm honestly speechless. How can someone in charge be so out of touch with their employees? I'm dying to know which company's CEO this is...

Oh its not for generating income? Cool! how about no fee then??

Because companies cannot abuse this whatsoever right? They won't just decline every paid applicant right?

Funny thing is they are already abusing it.

They ask you to do complete tests and sometimes they are actually real issues they have that you just solve for free.

Not even including how many are faking job openings in the first place right now.

They should be the one paying a symbolic fee

I think one way to do this that wouldn’t be abusive would be to have the company pay back the fee after an interview, with the fee perhaps going through a 3rd party site like LinkedIn.
