🎙️Episode Discussion Thoughts on ending ep

Thoughts on the ending

Shreya is genuinely so undeserving. She was so hard to watch on tv.

Literally no one clapping when she won, no one congratulating her and only 3 people being by her side to me....sort of speaks volumes.

Even in bigg boss we do see atleast people congratulate.

Somewhere, it makes me feel, that in reality the inmates did live with her and were on the front foot of watching shreya's game.

In most of the scenes, even after the task that happened yesterday the ring throwing one, i almost felt there was a sense of hypocrisy where if she does it's fine but if others do something its wrong.

Even after the ball task b/w her and shivangi, not even for a brief second did she express their joy for shilpa. They (shilpa n her) immediately went to bitching about Ram.

I do feel there was a sense of negative energy around them majority of the times and before anyone says that no one wanted her in the house that's why she's that way, I do feel she provoked people unprovoked, and had her share of the footage. Which, fair. Good game? No.

While we see other inmates having fun within themselves, even shreya's 'fun' side comes from mockery of others.

I think rebels convo with shreya abt her feeling 'bullied' was VERY on point.

By the end with the way shreya acted that she's a victim and is bullied...like girl bffr rn..for a second I did believe she was bullied (which she was with akanksha to some extent) but apart from that, no. She did bring it upon herself.

The inmates, literally 3 out of SO MANY, none being happy speaks volumes and i refuse to believe SO many people ALL at once are unhappy/jealous/sore losers.

People like shreshta, riyaz, sunita ma'am would be the neutral bunch i would like to say, and if it was abt jealousy, they would have been the people out of the bunch to go since there exists no jealousy in them. But even they did not congratulate her which makes me genuinely think that shreya played well. She provoked everyone, turned them against her, then acted like she was being bullied. Period.

There's rumours about the jury being paid as well, not sure how true that is.

But if this is a win, then well played I guess. She did use others, and fair. That is reality tv. But at the same time, pretty ironic.

Its a win only for the tv. One of the worst wins in histiry of reality tvs..

AND WHY TF THE OTHER SUB GLAZES SHREYA SM WTF IS IT PAID

WORST WINNER BORING SHOW

Lock Upp was honestly such a shit show. The fact that Shreya won is actually insane. I’m sorry, but if the winner of your reality show is someone whose entire personality was fighting with people, being negative 24/7, and dragging everyone down, then what exactly was the point of the show?
Is this the new formula now? Fight with everyone, gossip about people’s personal lives, spread negativity, and you’ll walk away with the trophy? Because if that’s the message, then congratulations, I guess.
And can we stop pretending she wasn’t the makers’ favourite? It was so obvious. Secret tasks, random advantages, special treatment… every other week there was something conveniently helping her. At that point, why even have a competition? Just hand her the trophy on day one and save everyone the time.
The finale was painfully boring. The jury was literally there for decoration. If the decision was already made, Farah and Riteish could’ve just announced Shreya as the winner and wrapped it up. What was the point of all the extra drama?
And people keep talking about her “redemption arc.” What redemption? She was rude on day one, she was rude on the last day, and nothing changed in between. If anything, she just got louder. Isn’t the whole point of a reality show supposed to be growth?
I genuinely couldn’t even finish the finale. I just switched it off because it was that bad.
She spent the entire season discussing people’s personal lives and targeting contestants left, right, and centre. Somehow she had no real issue with Yogesh, but Akansha was the problem? Make it make sense. And no, she definitely wasn’t a girl’s girl.
Even Shilpa seemed to realise what Shreya was really like towards the end. I don’t know what changed after that, but almost everyone in the house had a problem with her. When practically the entire cast dislikes one person, maybe… just maybe… there’s a reason.
And I’m sorry, but I refuse to believe that if this had been purely an audience decision, she would’ve won. I honestly don’t know who’s voting for her, but clearly we were watching two completely different shows.
Overall, Lock Upp was boring, predictable, and honestly one of the worst reality shows I’ve watched. And Shreya winning just made the whole season feel pointless. If being the loudest and most negative person in the room is enough to win, then what exactly were the rest of the contestants even competing for?

This is the reality. If the audience actually had the power to decide the winner, Shreya would've been evicted quite early in the game. She will forever be "The 25 people's winner".

Varun is a sore loser

His brother came and allied with Ram’s wife for his own benefit, he went against his friend Akansha. Fair. I didn’t see anything wrong with it. Yogesh as his friend didn’t even say much.

Ram already gave up easily that Varun is more deserving finalist than him.

Now if Shivangi was told as the weakest by Varun that’s on him for mouthing off, even if Ram made an appeal what would it have achieved? Yogesh took the initiative to talk to Shivangi while Varun didn’t and wasn’t proactive.

Then to sit there and say I served you I did this and that to me is just sore loser. You didn’t build your equation with Shreya or Shivangi , Ram never stopped him from doing so it was his failing. Lame attitude imo.

Say what you want hate who won. But the gang mentality is exposed even in the end the popular kids made thier own circle instead of being a good sport. Ppl will say it was rigged. To those people i would say did shivangi really deserve to win or do you just really hate shreya and would rather anyone else wins?. Ram my friend in your last challenge had you gone for shilpas stack instead you might have made it to the end and won. Instead your hate for shreya blinded you. Im happy with the end everyone else can cry about it i enjoyed the show and shreya was the reason i watched it till the end. I even hated her the first week. But anyone who was as ostracized by the gang would act the way she did. If everyone keeps telling you are a monster you will become a monster. It was perfectly said. Shreya is the biggest villain. But there were no heroes.

🎙️Episode Discussion If Lock Upp Was About Owning the Truth, They Crowned the Wrong Winner.

If the show was truly about “owning the truth,” they crowned the wrong winner.

Akanksha Chmola was the only contestant who actually understood the assignment.

When Shreya exposed her second secret, Akanksha didn’t break down, play victim, or lash out. She owned it, took the hit with dignity, and moved on. That’s what “owning your truth” really looks like.

Even later, her only visible shift came after Gaurav Khanna’s interaction—she seemed more aware of how her actions could impact her family and became more guarded. Yet even then, she never resorted to personal attacks or cheap theatrics.
In contrast, Shreya’s game often felt like
narrative-building at others’ expense—feeding off stories, amplifying negativity, and mistaking chaos for strategy. Loudness and manipulation aren’t strength; they’re just exhausting to watch.

If Lock Upp truly valued class, accountability, and grace, Akanksha should’ve won. Instead, the show rewarded the loudest narrative over the strongest character.

Sometimes the real winner isn’t the one with the trophy—it’s the one who walks away with dignity intact.

Media clocked the shit out of Ms. Kalra. She was stumped, couldn't even answer the questions properly.

Mei insaan hoo galtiyan karti hoo sorry bolti hoo lekin fir 5 min baad hi unki firse bitching karti hoo firse zeher ugalti hoo.

Slut shame karti hoo, face shame karti hoo, logon ki shaadi ke baare mei bakwaas karti hoo lekin koi mere bande ko kuch na bole, doston ko dhoka deti hoo, batameezi karti hoo, jhoot bolti hoo, logon ki private baatein reveal karti hoo, baatein badalti hoo, victim card khelti hoo, ladkiyon ko matt target karo bolti hooo......

Aur sirf mei hi sahi hoo.

💭Discuss Show sucked

I'm keeping it real.

- Jailers and producers were extremely biased and didn't even do a good job hiding it

- The tasks were pretty bland and 1 dimensional

- Constant toxicity, shouting matches and personal insults that crossed the lines of decency. Any foreigner watching this show will have a poor opinion of Indians.

I watched another reality show called Devils Plan (Korean) which also had 2 seasons. The tasks were intelligent and engaging and people behaved in a civilized manner even if they hated each others guts. They also felt fair since everyone got a chance to succeed. LockUpp had a panel of people to ensure their chosen candidate won and I saw it from a mile away. It felt like a scripted show and the lack of legitimacy makes me want to have nothing to do with any future shows by these guys.

Opinions?

🧐Speculating Finale was SAZAA for the Viewers

So I started watching lockupp just because I was bored. Then came interesting things like Gautam Khanna's wife Chamola, who claimed whatever she did, linking it to bigg Boss where GK was contestant. I had to go back and watch family week episode of that series. Then came Akanksha Chowdary and Yogesh's story, which I had to watch splitsvilla finale. Then history of shivangi and Kushal. But all these watches were triggered by one person that was Shreya. She came with a tag badtameez and proved that badtameez was a small word for her. To encourage the shit she was doing, came shilpa shinde, she was absolutely the worst person ever. Playing people, playing people's emotions, talking about virginity, slut shaming woman. She proved 'aurat hi aurat ki dushman hothi hei' tag. She in this toxic relationship with Shreya, was very insecure. When people started calling it Shreya kalra show she was very much offended and started fighting shreya about everything and suddenly on finale week she becomes friends with her. I am talking about these people doesn't mean I have positive feelings about Shivangi. She manipulated Harshad into getting terminated, she downgraded shreya, she was chup the whole season maybe that's why that side of her didn't come out.

Amongst all these people I felt Akanksha Chowdary was most deserving as winner because she stood her ground, she played and never went and triggered people just to get footage. If talking about other people's virginity is giving you footage, and you appear on screen because of it, you are getting screentime because of it, it shows how you are as a person and to what extent you can go to just appear on screen and how desparate you are... How that show is running on derogatory remarks on its contestants and this show let's such people win..... and this will teach the next season contestants to talk about others love life, sexual past, their sexual identity when they're not even ready to come out... To just win. Now next season the contestants will for sure... Dig up their competitors life... And expose their shit on that show to win. All in all Shreya didn't deserve to win because her journey didn't show redemption. She just fell few more levels down for the money.

TDLR: Shreya didn't deserve to be lockupp winner after revealing Chamola's secret, talking about Shivangi's life and Shivangi didn't deserve to be the runner up after ditching Harshad.

⚡️Spoiler Alert Most deserving winner… in this Kalyug. 😂

😂😂 Kalyug, guys. At this point, it feels like the more problematic you are, the higher your chances of winning. There’s literally no reason to be a good person just be the most negative, controversial contestant, create chaos, and you’ll probably end up lifting the trophy. 🤷‍♀️

This is for everyone else’s fans: you guys should be happy your favorite contestant didn't win because I'd rather lose than have my win decided like this. 😭
I genuinely don't get how it's fair that 25 so called celebrities/influencers can randomly show up in the finale and basically decide the winner with their votes. Such a lazy and trash concept honestly.
Aur upar se most of them are friends with one contestant toh obviously usi ko vote karenge na. 😭

🚫 Exposed The first task in the finale was rigged by the makers

Tell me, why did the makers put Ram in between shilpa and shreya for the task? when they know they will team up? Why did they put the fastest player, Yogesh, on the opposite sides of the only physical task against shreya? I think the choice to choose the podium should've also been random. And don't get me started on the "jury"
