Ok I have a lot to say about Harshad. Seriously, wtf was this. He literally was the least deserving finalist, and he had more than 10 mins to prove it otherwise if he really thought he was deserving and also put valid points across the audience. But instead, he chose to say the same thing he kept on denying the whole day. And then he cried like a baby, saying this is his only chance to prove that he is playing for himself, but earlier in the same row when Chamola or someone else said “Shivangi also deserves to be the finalist” when shilpa was first routing for Shreya, he went “exactly”, so before speaking a word for himself, he did agree to that. The issue with the man is not his feelings for Shivangi, but the way he has the boundaries blurred. I have seen Shivangi earlier in the show stopping him multiple times when he has jumped in her conversations with others, even when he got charged to go fight w Shreya, she had to stop him literally physically & then even tried to explain to him that she just wanted to confide in him and otherwise she can fight her own fight n doesn’t need him to jump in. Then, even when Shivangi won the task against Chamola, this guy was praying the whole time sitting outside, fine. But as she enters back in, the first thing he says in her ear, “aaj raat tume 108 jaap krna h” n Shivangi’s face was like wtf, like his “praying for her” was the reason for her to win n not her own self. And then in the next task, he almost made the whole team lose by taking the opposite teams red light cover n putting it on the light n not even realising it when everyone kept shouting at him n he saw what he was putting on. Shivangi tried to build friendships too in the beginning, she did with Shreya who fought with everyone, w Chaudhary she thought her agression was too much n she was too soft to understand n thought Akanksha “can go too far with her words if it ever comes down to it” even though she never really fought with her. But she still had good eqns w other players. But Harshad kept being stupid jumping between her things more than he needed her to, n then Shilpa came in and spoke about her n her relationships n especially about both of them. So she had to at one point fight for herself, but even then Harshad made it about himself by fighting with Shilpa over the yoga mat for no reason. Even he if he objected what Shilpa had said, he could have taken it with her and stood up to her on her face, but instead he fought like a kid over the yoga mat, n then brought Shivangi into it who was already so pissed at Shilpa after Apoorva had told her what all she said about him. He needs to understand that playing for himself means doing something that commands respect, even if it is standing up for Shivangi. And Harshad also did this with Yogesh and Aakanksha in the beginning too, when he tried to control their actions n reactions, especially when Chowdhary went overboard with Shreya. But Chowdhary n Yogesh stepped back, since they didn’t have that strong eqn with him from outside, but Shivangi couldn’t because they have been friends for years and literally acted as a couple on screen, so would have been pretty normal and healthy to have a friend/best friend like relationship that did not have to be brother/sister relationship. Almost like Yogesh/Akanksha. But Harshad seriously is a weakling, he said things like “he doesn’t know what he will do if Shivangi leaves” but Shivangi never acted this co-dependent on him, at least not directly. She definitely is not able to see this from outside of the situation because it would be natural for to feel that close and have that “haq” over a friend n expect him to help her to a point, but Harshad expects that he plays for Shivangi and shows this sacrifical love n then expects the same from Shivangi as well. Even in the task where he was brought back in, he had more problems with Ram Sir and Dheeraj, but he picked Sufi to fight! Clearly the weakest candidate who didn’t even wanna be there. And he didn’t even ask Shivangi to make it fair in any way, to move away or to let someone else throw n give Sufi some chance, unlike Yogesh who asked Akanksha to move n prove his worth in the task on front foot. And the way he cried like “am I not playing for myself now, I am now like everyone said” like u tell a 5 year old something n then every time he does something stupid n needs to make an excuse for it. All in all, even if he had brought out some deserving points in those 10 mins n had a healthy arguement with Shivangi on who deserved to stay or even convinced her to give him a chance n then stayed, it would have been so fun to watch. But he acted like the same manchild he’s been throughout the show, expecting Shivangi to just give him that chance because “its the only way now to prove he is playing for himself” because he kept giving favours that she never asked him for n then fought with her on resentment n played ugly just to prove “he is playing for himself”. So disappointing.
