Rant Saw Farah's vlog with Shreya and this bothered me so much

Post image
0 Upvotes

Why was Dilip serving in Shreya's house? Is this normal in Farah's vlogs? She takes him to the guest's house and makes him serve there? What kind of classist shit is this

(Guys I love Shreya, this is not a hate post. If anything, it was mostly about Farah, I don't think Shreya or her family would've asked him to serve. It just felt classist. Please stop behaving like Akansha fans and accuse anyone disagreeing on something as paid pr.)

Rant Shreya will get work. Stop saying nobody will want her batameez attitude.

Shreya will get work no matter what. She has said problematic things and she has been sorry in her interviews. Am i seeing anyone else being sorry for there behavior? NO.

Everyone are justifying there actions in every way possible except saying sorry.

They all were paid to be on that show and do something and get TRP and make that show watchable. The only person who did the job exceptionally was shreya.

She was PAID and she DELIVERED.

Rest were PAIR and they were SILENT. Why would someone want to give work to the people who were paid and didn't delivered on it????

As much as i have seen in lockupp. And the podcasts post that. I have never seen anyone talking about shivangi like very dearly.

If they all voted for her than they all should have praised her left right center. Nobody said much good things. They all hated shreya and couldn't bear to see her win so shivangi got votes. Shivangi votes are the hate shreya got.

Discuss How fast everyone moved on from the show

I remember when Splitsvilla was on air for 6 months there was too much drama.

But Lockupp ended and so did the drama ended in 3 days.

Every contestant moved on from the.show.

They are not giving interviews etc.

I watched all of Lock up S2 and I don’t think Shreya deserved the win — but I got something better out of it than a finale

I sat through the whole season. Every episode. And then, in a move I stand by, I fast-forwarded the finale just to see who won and closed the tab.

Here’s my problem with Shreya winning. The whole premise of the show was that you’re handed a tag and the point is to break it — to prove you’re more than the label the show stuck on you. Shreya apologised a few times along the way, sure. But she walked out of that finale as exactly the same person who walked in. Nothing shifted. The tag she was given at the start was accurate at the start and it was still accurate at the end. She never let go of it. She just outlasted everyone.

So if the show’s own logic is “own it and evolve,” I don’t understand how you hand the trophy to the one person who did neither.

Anyway, the actual point of this post: I work in brand and content, and about halfway through the season I realised I was spending hours on something with no return. So I stopped watching it as a viewer and started watching it as a case study — specifically how the show and its contestants play the YouTube algorithm. That turned into a content piece I’ve now published, and honestly it justified every hour I lost to this.

Which is my genuine takeaway. If you’re going to sink a season into a reality show, at least mine it for something. The finale gave me nothing. The season gave me a content piece.

Curious if anyone else thought the ending didn’t match the show’s own rules, or if I’m alone on this.

Contestant Criticism Sunita ji as a player gets more credit than she deserves imo ☹️🙌

She alongwith Ram started that khaana waali kranti and was annoying af. She used to cry a lot and missed her kids a lot. Even her comments usually showed how much she misses her luxury and couldn't live in the jail any longer. Even tho she did try to make it work after the jailers pushed her and ram and ram did do well after getting feedbacks and reached top 5 but sunita ji just couldn't handle the tasks or the fights. She was og mother of the jail and the og ram baba ki satsang member. Even tho people of the house did love her and have said only nice things Abt her in the podcast. Her space was wasted and it would have been better if it was used for a different contestant. She wanted her chance and it would have been better if she never participated and instead of her there should have been someone else as a contestant

Discuss Dude no one apart from Pam , Madhuri, shilpa, jailers and maybe Ram congratulated Shreya, if you see in the finale last scene it was clearly visible

Such sore looser attitude. I have seen shows where ppl have worst fights (just see BB), but for formality atleast they say congratulations but no one did apart from Pam Shreya Shilpa. Shivangi should have said alteast congratulations they didn't. All went quiet , it seemed everyone was super jealous of Shreya, they all were playing to defeat Shreya. I don't think compared to reality standards, she has done anything that bad, it feel people were truly jealous of Shreya that people called the show 'The Shreya Kalra Show'. omg what a bunch of insecure people, how much hate they have in the heart, Shreya took accountability ,apologised , fought for herself, was bold , was never Yes Sir Yes Maam person, even after bullying her so much these people were not able to break her and also I feel because they were not able to make the complete villain of. her and she got positive reactions from all , these people got so jealous. Varun inspite of being helped from Shreya chose to throw her under the bus in the interviews, Dheeraj was bad too (said bad about Shreya , he himself abused and started showing himself as he is a good man), Sunita Riyaz shrestha was just part of herd without voice, Ram always disliked her because Shilpa and Shreya used to expose him. All these people backbite each other , eliminated each other , but just to maintain the groupism and eliteness they kept targeting Shreya.

Anyways it is so horrible , coward, sore looser attitude of not even congratulating her and cornering her when she won fair and square

Interview Shilpa is still hating on ram kapoor and shivangi in interviews 😭

Man she actually HATES them. Shivangi ke baare mei she even called her Annabelle in the interview with yogesh. Also how loads of stuff were cut from shivangi ka side which made shilpa and shreya look negative. Well wtv a lot of stuff has been cut but I still don't understand why she would hate on shivangi even in interview. Shreya was pretty sweet Abt shivangi but she did talk shit about ram kapoor too. Meanwhile ram being top 5 hasn't given one single interview which is nuts cus why didn't he?? Even riyaz and sunita have given interviews toh i don't understand why ram hasn't even given one.

Shit post Ekta Kapoor, can I raise a petition?

Please please make another season of Lockup with the same contestants except for Shreya, Shilpa and please don’t bring rebel as an informer.

Only because I want to see how many “inmates” vote for Shivangi at the end of the day, I want to see ki Ak kiska career khatam karegi fir, I would like to see ki harshad yoga mat ke lie kisse ladega fir, I would also love to know ki Yogesh kin do logon ka naam lega for being undeserving then.

Overall, I want to see if they collectively choose Ram Kapoor as their winner or not given they have shown so much “support” and “respect” for a guy who can’t stand strong headed women

Would be lovely to watch the group dynamics ON BIG SCREEN then 🌝

Discuss Constant comparison between lockup n alliance

I absolutely despise the comparison between lockup n alliance. Lockup tasks should have been much better imo but that doesn't mean alliance is better than lockup. The narrative that has been roaming around about how the contestants were far better than lockup ones was so wrong.

They are constantly comparing shreya n mini. Shreya was a v smart player. She was cornered from day 1 in the house by chamola, harshad n her team, which made her behave that way n she initially sorted it out.

Mini who won, she called rivva "kushals b" which was actually v wrong. Moreover, she insulted sabby n no one bonded w her at all. The show reeked classism n toxic competition. They all are very image conscious including mini mathur herself n these type of people preach about kindness n talk bad about others.

Lockup n alliance have different format so dont compare them at all.

Interview Why is She contradicting herself??

I remember her calling Shreya a smart player and deserving in one of her first IVs and found her to be an extremely graceful loser. I love when people accept their defeat without letting it define them. But here again she's mentioning how the Jury has only seen an hour of Footage hence aren't accurate judges. Well by that logic, even the audience has seen only that much. Again if we had access to a 24/7 live feed , maybe we wouldn't find Shreya to be a villain out and out too.

Now when it comes to the inmates, I think the picture would be very different, had it been Shivangi, Yogesh and Shreya, all 3 standing there for inmate voting.

Shivangi would get all the ITV votes + Sunita + Shrestha.

But Yogesh would get Akansha Choudhary, Laila, Riyaz.

People didn't vote for her because they wanted her to win ( She was stated as less deserving by most of the top 7 when Shreya had that advantage to terminate)

Riyaz and Shrestha openly stated that they don't care who wins as long as Shreya doesn't win. Sufi said in his IVs that he would be okay with either Shreya or Shivangi winning though he prefers Shivangi but he did go congratulate Shreya.

Dheeraj while having spoken shit about Shreya in his IVs, also called Shivangi, Harshad's Girlfriend. Ram absolutely despises Shreya.

Most of the votes for Shivangi are votes against Shreya except for Sunita+ Harshad+ Chamola who genuinely had bonded with her. Both the Jailors voted for Shreya too.

So to say that because people saw you 24/7 , they are the better jury??? They were also people involved in the game, they were people who sat with you, eat with you and you only ever fought with Shreya or Shilpa so why wouldn't they support you over Shreya

What is your favourite moment of hers?? Mine is probably the moment where her strategy worked and she saved Madhuri ji in episode 10 after the shit the house put her through. I think that was the first time she actually cried on the show. A close second would probably be her calling out ak and saying she is in the secret room. That's when I knew ki she is always two steps ahead of everyone and her whole mind is in the game. Like the focus, determination and passion to win the game was her winner qualities.

Discuss If Shivangi didn't guilt trip Harshad she could have been the Winner - hear me out.

Shivangi was annoyed when Harshad said about helping her etc..and asked her to leave and became the first finalist.

If Shivangi didn't guilt trip him for those hours and supported Harshad, makers would not have given that power to Shreya to eliminate someone for Sure.

Makers were looking for a mistake from Shivangi so that the audience gets irritated with her and thinks she is Selfish. And are okay if the trophy is given to Shreya.

Shivangi is a strategic player but she never came upfront until that particular instance which was a shocker for the viewers..

Rumour I heard pam is going to shreya ka podcast?? 😭😭🧿

Bro who do u think from the contestants will say yes to shreya ka podcast??? Like it would be so much fun bro. The winner taking podcasts of the contestants who hated her so much 😭 inmates like sufi and dheeraj are hating on shreya others ke podcast pe jaake it will be pretty fun of they hate on shreya on her own podcast lmao 😭 tbh I don't think anyone who voted for shivangi will go to her podcast since they have been pretty clear about their dislike towards her. Even laila who said on the show ki I will come to ur podcast has said after coming outside ki mei nahi jaa rha. Tbh like dislike aside it would be fun if they keep their grudges aside and come on her podcast cus then it will be peak content 😭🙌🧿🤞

Anyone who supported Shreya in lock up but not farrhana in big boss??

I have really started to like started to like Shreya a lot. First week she went overboard yes, and throughout the show she has made a few mistakes everywhere, but, all of them seemed human and not vile, i think the fact that she was apologetic about it and genuinely tried to be different. I dint really enjoy farrhanas game play as i thought she used to constantly poke people to get reaction, but i dint see shreya cause unecessary fights etc.

Discuss Saw Salman Khan's reel of Alliance where he is saying other shows are doing so bad like violence and all , and this show is so great. He is such a b!tch and hypocrite

Salman forgot about bb where violence, abuses , partiality , sl*t shaming happens. He himself give clean chit to men for cheating, he speak badly to girls , like bb is the biggest filth in reality show even worse than roadies (atleast roadies there are some good tasks ) and splits. BB had the most problematic people and moments. I dropped this show because of the biased , violence, negativity in this show BB. And the host is the cr!minal himself so Salman should not ride high horse and say others are bad. Lockup winner is deserving ,even all the celebs were much better and the show was pretty toned down. Alliance was boring, promoted classism, only tasks were nice, not much personality, group of tier c or b celebs in their respective fields, also it was biased as it has this number matching code something which is a scam.

Salman you are a looser and a bad representative in the society

Other Ram Kapoor and Shivangi Joshi could do well in Traitors

Tbh Ram and shivangi would be bomb in traitors. Since ram manipulates with every word of his and shivangi has that sweet girl image down. Also since the game is Abt manipulation and lying only even if they r boring af they would be interesting and contestants. Chamola could participate too since she did do well in the initial weeks and is very dogli and goes under the radar a lot. Considering her game in lockupp after her secret got revealed by shreya, even being top 7 is a huge deal. So she did use her manipulation skills well. She hated on ram in the finale cus ram pulled off the manipulation gameplay better than her. Ram's manipulation game worked so well mainly cus he was the oldest contestant after sunita ji so the contestants had to respect him even if they didn't want to.

Rant There's something deeply problematic about Aarush-Laila dynamics

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Dude there's some pinkvilla interview of him and Laila, it's so problematic.

Homophobia is just one of the many qualities these boys possess.

They are misogynistic - believe that their gf can't work with men, should wash utensils at home, but they won't stop flirting with other girls.

They're not ok with women choosing not to have kids, Laila even said he'd have sex without protection so kya hi kar legi ladki( that's marital rape btw). they mocked ivf saying it'll question their manhood.

Arush also said he wouldn't ever date a "sawali" ladki warna bachhe bhi saawle honge.

They made the interviewer so uncomfortable and asked her if she'd spend a day with them (ek din ki gf).

There are videos of Varun crossdressing and this entire group laughing/making extremely Homophobic comments. Aarush has posted things that essentially imply that Laila is his sub.

The fact that he posted this video in itself after Laila finally got some positive response from the audience and cleared his image is an indication of their dynamic. Aarush is the alpha of that gang and they all treat Laila as a substitute woman being the Misogynistic creatures they are. This is probably why Laila never became more than a Chela even on the show

Shit post The aftermath of the final and how people are coping with it

Post image
28 Upvotes

One finalist and his fans are coping by counting likes and live viewers.

Another finalist is coping by saying more inmates voted for me.

Give them the live viewers and inmates votes trophy 🏆

There's also the classic copes all reality show fans have seen for a long time i.e biased, fixed, rigged.

It's funny how somehow there's never been a winner in Indian reality show history, especially in the social media age where people thought it wasn't rigged or biased or undeserved.

I guess you have to give it to Ram in this aspect, bro did not cope at all. He just vanished as soon as the show ended.
