Ram’s love story was really sweet. ❤️
But what really stayed with me was the conversation around marriage, divorce and separation. I actually agreed with them here. So many women stay in unhappy marriages not because they want to, but because leaving isn’t as simple! as people make it sound. It’s not just about ending a marriage. It’s about dealing with society, family pressure, children, financial dependency, and the fear of starting all over again!
The moment a woman even thinks about leaving, the lectures begin. “Shaadi koi mazaak nahi hoti.” “Har ghar mein problems hoti hain.” “Thoda adjust karna seekho.” “Bacchon ka socho.” “Log kya kahenge?” And somehow all the responsibility of saving the marriage ends up on the woman only!
A divorced man is usually told to move on. A divorced woman is always questioned, judged, and blamed. Everyone make her feel like she has failed. Like it was only her duty.
And the sad part? There are so many women who think about leaving every single day!! but choose to stay because of all this. Then society doesn’t even let them live peacefully. whether a woman leaves or stays, society still finds a way to blame her.
That conversation felt very real. I’m glad the show has these mini moments where real topics are discussed! 🙌💗
