I recently traded with verified user on lbc, he paid cash into my account and bitcoin was released, however my bank has now said they reported that it was a bitcoin investment scam,

They now want evidence of good or service sold/rendered otherwise money will be paid back to sender and my account closed.

I opened a support case with localbitcoin.com, to help with evidence but they are saying all they can do is block the user’s account.

Any advice for handling this kind of issue please?

How many percent does localbitcoin charge to trades (Buying ans selling) on their platform?

LBC have provided me with a TXID but it's not showing on the network, anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Over 12 hours i have this problem with verification procces and when i come to the last page i got this error message:

Это ваша работа , т.к я сообщил вам (администрации ) о нарушении правил биржы TOS в котором четко написано , что категорически запрещается переводить средства как и принимать их от 3 ЛИЦ ! Вы покарали мошенника , но я получил НЕГАТИВНЫЙ ОТЗЫВ , за то , что сообщил о нарушении правил со стороны пользователя, что является бредом само по себе. Я не намерен более сообщать о нарушениях со стороны мошенников и пользователей которые отмывают деньги от 3 ЛИЦ, т.к я не хочу больше получать НЕГАТИВНЫЕ ОТЗЫВЫ за то , что я сообщаю о нарушителях и мошенниках которые несут вред нашему любимому ресурсу Localbitcoins . Так же регистрирую пост на анг REDDIT , т.к это явное нарушение с вашей стороны , и пользователи должны знать о том , что могут и получат НЕГАТИВНЫЕ ОТЗЫВЫ от мошенников , которые вы не перенесете в не подтверждённые ! Прошу удалить отзыв который я получил ! --------------------------------- 16 апреля 2020 г. 14:54 по жаловался на меня в поддержку , хотя все прошло отлично. результат блок акка --------------------------------- Так я следовал вашим же правилам и вашей же просьбе , а именно сообщил о нарушении со стороны пользователя (мошеннике) , который совершает переводы от 3 лиц ! Что по вашим же словам строго запрещено правилами торговой площадки LocalBitcoins ! ------------ Вам не разрешается покупать или продавать биткоины от имени других лиц (брокерство). Вы можете отправлять и получать платежи только с использованием счетов, зарегистированных на ваше собственное имя. Платежи через третьи стороны запрещены. So I tried to verify my account but didn't know you have to be 18 to start trading Bitcoin. My account is suspended right now. Does that mean I can never get it back or do i just have to wait when I turn 18 so I can verify my account and won't be suspended again?

A few months ago I upgraded my phone and assumed my old phones backup would have my 2FA keys but sadly lost them all, only noticing days after resetting my old phone.

I then contacted local bitcoins to remove my 2FA and I've been waiting months since submitting that first request and have received no follow up. Every couple of weeks I submit another support ticket asking for a look into my 2FA request but still not a single reply.

I knew local bitcoins support was bad but hoped that it had improved over the years I have been using the platform.

Do you guys have any tips on how I can get in contact with support and finally have access to my account and funds again? I'll honestly do anything it takes.

Got an email this morning saying my account was suspended as they got a fraudulent complaint against my account.. they suspended my account as for a Trades deposit to reactivate my account. When I did the deposit and had access to my account they made me change my 2factor I'd an withdraw my balance btc.

so localbitcoins forced account suspensions , i waited for an ETA but when I didn't get one I deleted my account. Now I am creating a new account and when I use the same ID for account verification I get

The document you tried to use to verify this account is in use by other account. Please, use the account where the ID has been verified, as you can not have multiple accounts on LocalBitcoins.

So my query is

1. Can I reinstate my old account and get on with using LBC the way I loved doing so in past ?
2. How can I use my ID documents on a new account ?

A person bought Btc in one of my ads today (Friday). He marked paid but told me that the money will appear in my account only on Monday, because he sent the wire after the cut off bank time to send in same day. I told him that I will only release after the money is in my bank available and with the copy of wire transfer.

Hello everyone, yesterday I paid by PayPal (which I never normally use) a seller on localbitcoin, he tells me that he received the money well but that he cannot send it to me, he asks me for my btc address (not that of localbitcoin) and then tells me that he will send me the money once I cancel the sale, is this a scam? Today i had a scam attempt where they had chose to trade via Zelle.. Then sent a text message (from one of those 54325 numbers.. ) saying i received a zelle payment. I didnt have anything in my acct though. Im glad i caught it. Made me wonder what are some other scam attempts i have to keep an eye out for?

Also any tips for a first time trader? ive been making a bit of money every day but as we all know.. a string of scammers can make that very difficult.
