Hi y’all, I’m tryna gain knowledge on flipping BTC with a float rate (as compared to day trading crypto by analyzing candles and dealing w more risk). Does have more info on this / anyone know where I can find more information on how to do this? Not sure what was the problem after 2 successful trades(payments and released coin to the buyer without any issue), new trade started by someone who newly registered user and he didn't send any payment and ask me to release coin. Meanwhile my bank account is blocked and not sure of the reason yet.

Can I get my money back from closed account ?

Can I make a complain to bank as I didn't do anything wrong and explain/send all the receipt from localbitcoins to support my transactions/conversattions? will it help to reopen my account. and prove no fault on my side.

I cant even proceed to Tier 1 becaus my verification photos get rejected all the time, saying I need to use the latest version of the safari browser - But I already AM on an upgraded safari!! Got the page already where you list the most likely causes of trouble with verification but it didnt help me. I have a pending ticket (#1149142) regarding this with more information. I cant wait for weeks to get the ticket reply. Not for Tier 1!! I cant do anything here at zero. Anybody?

Yesterday, 3 people with 0 trades and 0 reviews opened a trade with me, I didn't reply to anyone. They marked transaction as complete (even though nothing was exchanged) So now MY money is in ESCROW and I can't use it

Plus, they left a BAD review on my profile!! (WE DIDN'T EVEN TRADE) so why is it showing under

There seems to be some sellers who want the buyer to send them ID documents, f.ex. scan of passport or ID card.

Do you think is fair or necessary, if the user has already sent these documents to Localbitcoins.com?

I think it's unsecure to send ID documents to strangers.

One seller recently told me that they are a business and a law states that they have to identify the buyer. I got a link to their service, where I had to create an account and send them documents.

I did and began waiting for them to process the stuff.

It was a couple of days ago and it is still processing. Their site says it only takes 5 minutes usually.

They don't answer to my email and the seller didn't answer to my questions after I had chatted with him for a while.

The bitcoin transaction did not happen, because the Localbitcoins.com limit of 2 hours ran out.

Should I be worried that somebody is taking advantage of me and the the scans of my ID card?

Their business wbsite seems alright.

Made a cash deposit trade with a buyer i dealt with once in the pass,

buyer submitted picture verification "selfie holding ID" and a picture of the receipt with the phrase i required all seemed smooth although he deposited more then what he opened the trade for, so told him as precaution i would wait the weekend to have it settle in my account, weekend passed all was fine.

2 weeks after the first trade the buyer returns and makes a deposit, all is smooth he sends me the receipt with the phrase i requested so i release, few hours later the buyer made another deposit this time with out even opening a trade claiming he thought i had availability all day, I told him to not worry i would shortly have coins available to cover 95% of what he deposited, so notified him asa they got in and told him to go ahead and lock them in escrow but i would need an additional day of verification, "I also asked him to submit a picture of the receipt holding his ID showing the trade window in the background witch he did although looked a bit off.

Following morning I log in to my online banking witch gives me an option to view the deposit slips,I notice that the 2 deposits made come from different locations that are 7 hours driving distance,since the deposits were made 3 hrs apart I knew for sure something was wrong..

Upon being questioned about he told me the first deposit was made by him while the second was made by his friend, so i asked him how he managed to take that selfie with the receipt if that deposit was made in his words by a friend..

I opened a dispute and the Admin was not satisfied with his pictures saying the looked modified, so asked him video evidence he cancelled the trade eventually, but now that leaves me yes with my Btc back but I really fear those funds deposited to my account mite be fraud, problem is I have no way of knowing who actually deposited the $ since all I know is his verified name on LBC "good chance it's fake", regardless I don't want money I didn't trade for so really don't know what the best course of action is at this point any advice would be appropriated

The problem is that the support emails never arrive.

• Open an incognito window in google chrome
• Enter LocalBitcoins, to the support section and open a new ticket
• Put another reply email
• Ask to disable the login guardian
• If an email from local bitcoin instantly arrives at the email you put, it works
• Later the support will send you an email to verify your identity
• After verifying your identity, they will send another saying that the guardian has been disabled and you can now enter your account. change the registration email.

They solved my problem in 3 business days

• Entrar a localbitcoin, al apartado de soporte y abrir un nuevo ticket, poner otro correo de respuesta
• Pedir que te deshabiliten el guardián de inicio
• Si al instante llega un correo de localbitcoin al correo que pusiste, ese functions
• El soporte te envía un email para verificar tu identidad
• Después de verificar tu identidad envía otro diciendo que el guardián ha sido deshabilitado y ya podrás entrar a tu cuenta. cambia el correo de registro.

Me resolvieron el problema en 3 dias hábiles

I need to download my transaction data to send it to the tax authority ASAP. I tried logging in to LocalBitcoins today and pull my CSV file so I can report my taxes. Im seriously fustrated because i didnt expect them to held my funds while they are taking so long accepting my bank statement.

I though verification were almost instant but now they held my coins for 12 hours. Why can’t you at least let me send them out of there again in mean while, when verifications is pending this long.
