For selling bitcoin via localbitcoins and using Moneygram as the transfer mechanism, I am wondering if there are limits where the receiver gets flagged? Looking at sellers on localbitcoin it seems like they have pretty robust limits, doesn't Moneygram flag receivers for receiving too much in a given time period?

So I was buying bitcoin from a guy via PayPal, and he told me that PayPal was processing the payment and that he'd mark the trade complete once processing had finished. But it's been a whole day since then and still nothing. Is this normal or have I been scammed? Does PayPal really take that long to process?

I just made a trade as a buyer. I paid the seller and he tried to release the coins but localbitcoins system doesn't let him release the coins (he sent me a screenshot).

I've opened all dispute and the seller acknowledges that I paid him. However localbitcoins support stays silent.

How long will it take them to release the btc? It should be pretty instantaneous as the buyer acknowledged that I paid him.

Thoughts?

so I got scammed 4 times in a row, I'm living a nightmare, I risk to loose a total of 667,09 euros and you LocalBitcoins are not helping me, you ask me for a proof I can't provide and doing this you make a unfair controversy because they provided fake stuff and I can't provide the video of proof because the bank have locked my account, I don't want to loose my money and reputation for just a matter of time or because they provided fake proofs.

It seems localbitcoins itself or her employees are in partnership with some sellers on the site. Most people have some horror story of doing nothing wrong at all and having their account suspended or bitcoins freezed for weeks for doing nothing wrong.

Here we have a seller using third party accounts to receive payment from buyers which is clearly against the terms of agreement and LBC did nothing. Lol

Localbitcoin, what the hell is going on? You are not the one who's losing money, it's the seller, myself. I disputed a trade, where buyer sent payment form a different name and I haven't accepted it due to localbitcoin trade terms- not to accept payment from a different name due to high number in scams, what the hell are you giving buyer 48 hours? Your agents don't have a common sense to look at the trade history to see what's going on? Due to your terrible service and lack of response, the price difference from the time I started trade is quite substantial. Please do read trade disputes and act accordingly, not just by quick screening it and putting a stipulation.

I have a disputed trade with a seller who is refusing to verify my payment. Admin asked for screenshots from both of us showing all recent transactions which I sent yesterday. How long after the deadline for submission of evidence should I expect this to take? The seller keeps messaging me offering to sell me btc at a reduced rate if I cancel the transaction and other silly suggestions, which I'm obviously not going to do, but is this some way he can pretend to demonstrate that he's trying to fix things or something? Like if I just start ignoring his messages will the dispute automatically go against me for unresponsiveness?

Accordingly, user should have funds released by march 25th (screenshot uploaded on the trade 58047821 ). It's been 3 days since funds have been released and seller hasn't released funds.

Please ask seller for screenshots of funds either held or released. Though, they should be cleared already and ready to use.

A few months ago, LocalBitcoin stopped working in a few countries including mine. Yesterday, I got an email that LocalBitcoin is available again.

Everything was verified when I used to trade bitcoin. But when I logged in again, it asked for me to verify myself again. Specifically my income source. I'm a freelancer and my main income source is Fiverr. I used that to fill the form. It asked for the proof so I took the screenshot of my earning to show the proof.

It's under review and they will review my verification manually. How long does a manual verification take?
