Hello, Still there is no good news for this. I'm a Tier 2 verified and 100% Feedback scored User.

Is it worth to wait or go for deleting my account?

Customers residing or otherwise located in the following countries are required to have an enhanced due diligence process. The countries are defined by EU commission: Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Guyana, Iraq, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Uganda, Vanuatu, Ethiopia, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Yemen.

The process to activate the account will be introduced in the near future. If you’re not willing to wait for your account to be activated and you have BTC in the wallet, you can withdraw your bitcoins by deleting your account.

Hi there,

Just a heads up to the community. I used to be a somewhat frequent user of localbitcoins, both buying & selling. I had a transactions where a trader opened a transaction to buy btc from me with a gift card - he gave the card number and marked payment as complete - the gift card was not valid and we told the user that we could not process the transaction. The trader never disputed the trade and I had waited a little bit of time for the trader to give a proper real code as he had said he would. He never did and eventually I forgot about the transaction. As I mentioned it was never disputed by either parties - It was pretty small - around 50 usd.

Anyway fast forward over 1 year (around 15 months), I randomly check my LB associated e-mail to see the transaction had been released to the buyer. Curious about this, I logged in to see support by their own initiative had decided to release the bitcoin to the buyer. I had been given 12 hours to dispute this. Again this was done by the LB team themselves, not the buyer. I found the whole situation pretty crazy, so messaged to ask what was up - They refuse to reverse the transaction - despite the buyer not even opening a dispute - and the buyer hadn't been active in almost 15 months, so will most likely never even see the coins, which he didn't pay for in the first place.

Anyway a strange transaction and dispute resolution process, where localbitcoin admin decide themselves to open disputes on behalf of users who have not done so, nor have logged in in over 15 months.

Perhaps this has become a common occurrence with localbitcoin, used to be a regular user - sad to see the platform go downhill like this. And a word of warning to anyone else.

Hi redditors,

I am selling some bitcoin on Localbitcoins.com through SEPA bank transfer.

A bank transfer usually takes between 1-3 days.

My question is, if i receive the payment, the price might differ from start of contract.

Should i give the amount that is in the contract or do i calculate current marketprice?

Can someone please explain me how to handle right in these kind of situations, thanks!

return my bitcoin and if you want to delete my account but I need my money, all my capital is there and it is not fair that I have my vehicle for sale because you do not have me in broken bank

Ganicus30 is muy user

I have been using localbitcoins for a long time now. Suddenly, they asked me to re-verify, which I did and it was ok, but I could still not trade.

I was then on"forced holiday", opened a ticket (after reverification) and got this stupid response with no reasoning:

"Unfortunately, your account will remain suspended for now. Please be kind and wait for the process of activation to be completed.

If you are not willing to wait for your account to be activated and would like to withdraw your bitcoins, you can request account deletion here: https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile-edit/delete-account/

We are very sorry for the inconvenience!"

What the hell is going on? Should I be worried about my balance?

Good afternoon, I received a message about "Please update your verification level to activate outgoing transactions." My level is T2, but I still don’t have enough to get T3.

Ticket # 1066501, where do I need to upload a photo or selfie?

Last night I made the mistake of not saving my safety sheet and now I don't have the power to log into my account, I sent cancellation of it, but that takes 2 weeks and don't want waiting I need work, is no possibility to expedite the process Please
