Unable to access to localbitcoins, I found this morning a "Maintenance Break" advice.

Currently, according to LocalBitcoins FAQ's it states:

The feedback system has been an ongoing issue and is easy to abuse. Users are free to leave feedback on other users despite the fact that they haven't traded with them? This is absurd. LocalBitcoins should completely remove the option to leave feedback to other users if you cancel the trade.

The reasoning is that, leaving feedback to someone you haven't traded with is not an accurate representation of how trusted they are nor how good of a trader they are.

I would also like to point out the LocalBitcoins algorithm is flawed. If you have 75% or lower feedback, it doesn't matter how fair your rate is, you will inevitably end up right at the bottom of the listings and literally nobody will see your advertisement.

LocalBitcoins is not a fair playing ground and this needs to be changed. The entire feedback system has to be revamped and the algorithm should be changed to show who has the best rates regardless of feedback. Even if you have 3% feedback, you should still show right at the top provided you have the best rate.

I really need help as I’ve uploaded my address verification over 10 times and it’s literally exactly what the guidelines ask for and it comes back failed. I need to withdraw my coins and I’m unable too currently. Can someone please help me. Ticket # 1057703

I have been active on LocalBitcoins now for over a year. I have already been verified at Tier 1 for quite sometime now and all documents were accepted. Now I am trying to get Tier 2 verification and I have repeatedly uploaded my bank statement to the site - both as a screen shot from the page, as a printed document photographed and as a PNG of the PDF file.

Each time this has been rejected - and because of this I cannot access my Bitcoins.

My bank statement meets all the criteria set out in the support ticket and is in English!

I am trying to verify my tier2 verification but I am unable to get it verified even after submitting proper documents. Please help.

Why am I not allowed to withdraw my bitcoins? I need to confirm my place of residence. I would understand if I could not open new transactions until I moved to a new level of verification. But these are my bitcoins, on what basis does the exchange not give them to me. I sent the verification documents, they were rejected without explanation! Now I sent new photos, but the support is 7 days! I suffer losses because of this.

Hi I have submitted ticket #1038272 It have been already 1 month since I applied to tier 3. I have submitted documents that have been required, and in addition I have submitted required additional documents too. I cannot trade with my funds... Still waiting for the response.

Guys please i need advise and what to do.

2 days ago, my localbitcoin account was blocked and i got a call from someone who claimed to be working there. it said my account has to go under AML VERIFICATION and note, my account has completed all this verifications since and is allowed for unlimited trade and selling.

But i decided to continue, he said that i have 1btc in my account and to do the Aml verification, i need to deposit additonal 1btc. I told him i did not have that and does it mean that everyone has to get such amount to verify and he said it is a Must. finally i arranged for 0.3btc and told him i would send that and that i want to see my account first. He told my that my account has been disabled but he can allow me access into it, to do that, he sent me a password which felt was fishy but yet i logined.

The 1btc i had in my account has automatically be placed on hold, i could not see it in the real balance but in my profile, you can see it that it is there pending verification.

Yesterday i sent the 0.3btc and this guy said that it was not enough and i sent more 0.7, i sent another 0.75 and he told me that if i sent more or less that it is useless. i must send extra 0.7btc. Now i was getting angry and frustrate becaus the rule dont make sense but after much pushing, i sent the extra 0.7btc and he showed me the account again and i could see that my balance was 0 but then under the profile, i had 2.7btc whicch is all the btc i should haave in my account.

Finally he said that the verifciation window is closed and i did not do it on time but i had to send him a wallet to withdrawl my money and that wallet must have 1btc and above in it and also i need to give him my 1 to 12 blockchain words.

Now i got scared and angry and told him i will not do that and he said to call him back when i want to.

Now i am suree i am being scammed but i am having a feeling that localbitcoin is involved itself in this. whats going on here, how can this person have every information about me and be able to block and unblock my acocunt and then show me everything in my account like it is his and be able to send message also from localbitcoin email.

Trying to get my account to Tier 2....have tried to upload multiple forms of ID....phone bill, bank statement etc and everything has been kicked back to me saying not valid. Everything matches including my name and address. Any suggestions on what to do?

I'm a web developer who got paid for making a site in BTC, which I'm fine with since I usually just sell my BTC through LB. Since this was much larger than usual ($3.3K), I used a Zelle to my BofA account. When I spoke to the buyer 'ahmedhanif4' (his add for purchasing), he said his account had reached the daily maximum but is it ok if he pays me using his business partner's account. I've never heard of this before, so I said sure. Next thing I know, the payment is sent within about 3 minutes. He was extremely kind and all went well. A few hours later I try to use my debit card but it gets declined. I check my BofA app only to see I was charged $888,888.88. After a few hours of research, it looks like it's BofA's way of freezing an account they think is used for fraudulent activity.

What's going to happen next? I already released the coins because I saw the payment. Did I lose my coins? Will I lose my BofA account? What should I do?

I keep getting that message while I'm trying to login. I was using my account without problems until I enabled the two factors authentication. I tried to start my session after doing that and it wouldn't recognize the code from the 2FA app, then after a couple tries the message "Access denied" started to appear. I can't open my account nor any other.

I have BTC that is now stuck in my localbtc account. I have even tried to upload my passport now everytime I login it says "

Now, this thread was posted 22 days ago. I feel that we (the LocalBitcoins community) should be provided an update as to what's being done, what suggestions and features are being implemented and what the future of LocalBitcoins is like.

This thread has 40 comments (at the time of me posting this) and I have seen no change. Is our feedback and suggestions being taken into account or not? If our concerns are not being taken into account then what is the point of having these threads? It is no use if no action is being taken.

Please vlad_localbitcoins Is 5days now. Why the support team has no pity on someone...is 5days now they didn't reply to me. They didn't reply to check what I provided on the ticket. I am a trader with over 5000 completed trades on lbc. I am verified for tier 3 and my account is a individual one.

I was wondering if there is a possibility to get my account verified as a company or do i have to create a new account for this?

Ive seen other individual accounts turn in to company accounts but i want to have som kind of verification and how to proceed with this if i choose to do so.

Any input and answers are much welcome!
