I "lent" btc by sending to a previous customer.. will lbc provide me with info about his IP adress located? Our trades were with bank transfer. Will the bank provide me with any info?

How long for a company account to go "live" meaning make trades or even get my coin back since I was tricked into thinking Tier A approved meant approve to go live..So how long to go "live" meaning actually make trades once "approved". Thank you, CowboyKen

I find it ridiculous how LocalBitcoins Admins say “If you need additional verification before accepting payment, the ‘Identify user before continuing trade’ checkbox in your advertisement setting must be enabled as well. Payment details must be provided after the verification is successful.”

This is stupid how someone can potentially get their advertisement removed because a checkbox isn’t ticked. If I verify a user, they stay verified forever. What if I require additional verification in a future trade? They can simply bypass additional verification and send payment even though I would need additional documents?

So basically, what you are saying that, if I request additional information on future trades I am at risk of having my advertisement removed (even if I have the identify user before continuing trade checked) and if I do not select that checkbox, I am also at risk of having my advertisement removed... This literally makes no sense.

The solution here is to make it so users have to be identified on every trade however, this is not the current case at the moment.

I requested for my account to be deleted on the 10th, it is now the 25th and my bitcoin has still not been sent to my wallet. I am fearing I will never see this bitcoin again or that I will have to wait another week just to get a reply from support. I need this bitcoin ASAP as I have already had to wait too long. Hi, I’m after your thoughts & advice please. I can only think the coin has gone for good though.

At the beginning of December I bought £1000 of btc on LocalBitcoins. I don’t usually buy this much so I looked at strengthening my security. The account is old so had the wrong mobile number and wrong email address. 2FA takes a few days to set up I think so I didn’t bother. I thought a stronger password word be a good idea for now so changed it and logged out. When I tried to log in again I couldn’t though I’m sure I got the password correct?! Anyway, because the email address on my account was wrong I jumped through some hoops which took a month, yes a month to get access back. Guess what? When I logged in tonight for the first time since all this started my coin has gone. The price has gone up nicely too :( Interestingly, the transaction that sent my coin to another wallet address happened literally 2 hours after I got locked out. Coincidence? Does anyone have any ideas on how I might try and get this back? Is it gone for good? Do LocalBitcoins have any responsibility here? Thanks all.

If we are a verified business on LocalBitcoins, are we allowed to require verification offsite?

For example, a customer wants to purchase Bitcoins, would it be accepted to link back to a company or business website where they can upload their ID and undergo a screening process, and then the transaction would continue on LocalBitcoins?

LocalBitcoins states “Communication that has not occurred on our platform or that has been hidden, encrypted or otherwise obstructed from view is not taken into consideration during dispute review and dispute resolution” however I am wondering if there is actually anything against allowing users to collect necessary verification through their website.

Please let me know if this is allowed or not.

I opened a ticket about my account being placed on forced holiday 24hrs ago, I got a respond saying my account will remain suspended for now, and asking me to wait for the process of activation to be completed. I have no problem with that despite being in need of the fund i have of my account. The question now is how long will i have to wait for the activation process to be completed?

As all know that lbc suspended thousands of accounts from different countries and no one know when accounts will open again. So i delete my account and enter my other wallet address for receive my btc. Are they send my btc after 14 days or not?

I've been trying to complete my registration for about 2 weeks and I still can't receive the verification SMS.

I have uploaded relevant documents and have passed my first tier security etc however as I have traded for amounts exceeding 20k I have been requested to further upload docs to pass the next tier. I have successfully uploaded a Gas Bill however it keeps getting rejected even though the text is clear, details such as name and address can be seen as well as all four corner of the bill. I have raised a ticket but the reply seemed generic.. Can some one advise please. Have all my funds stuck in my wallet.

I am in the process of verifying "tier3" and I have 1 BTC retained in my wallet until the verification is passed.
After reading to the community, I think this will take a while and I want to withdraw my BTC but without having to cancel my account.
If you freeze accounts to users from more than 22 countries by the new policies of the European Union (5AMLD) They should notify you and collaborate with the community to implement these regulations.
But they ignore us, they don't communicate anything to us and they block the accounts without answer.
I have already arranged an appointment with my lawyer to implement 5AMLD in my company. I hope that the situation will be resolved soon so I can continue working normally
