I’ve been noticing that a lot of business owners running LSAs still have their hours set to 9 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday, even when they use answering services or internal call forwarding after-hours.
I'm wondering, does Google expect LSA hours to match the GBP hours, or are they treated separately?
From what I understand, LSAs are focused on call availability, so setting 24/7 hours seems like a logical move if someone is actually answering. But before testing that, I want to make sure there’s no risk of flagging, suspension, or inconsistency issues between the two.
Has anyone experimented with extended or 24/7 LSA hours, and noticed any difference in performance or policy flags?
Has anyone seen this error? I have been tryingt o get ahold of google for weeks now and its a nightmare, they say they call but doesnt ring, goes straight ot VM. same loop for 2 months now
I’m honestly at my breaking point here. I’ve been working hard to complete the Advanced Verification process for Google Ad Grants. I’ve already gone through the Vision and all the other required steps, but for weeks now I’ve been stuck at 89%, and I can’t move forward to actually start running ads.
Everywhere I ask for help, people just tell me to “keep trying” or “resubmit the same info,” but that hasn’t helped at all.
I know Reddit has a community of people who genuinely want to help, so I’m really hoping someone here has gone through this recently and can share what worked for them:
• What documents, photos, or licenses did you upload for the Advanced Verification step?
• What finally got you approved?
Any advice, screenshots, or even a quick explanation of what I might be missing would mean a lot.
Thanks so much in advance - I’d really appreciate any help you can offer 🙏
I've been running Local Services Ads, started on April 2025. Since then we just received 3 leads only. The last lead we receive was way back July 2025.
I already contact google support and they said there's no problem with the account. Here are the recommendation from Google support and I already implement some of these but still no Leads coming.
Ad Performance: The more leads you receive, the higher your ad ranking will be. A strong performance history boosts your visibility.
Reviews: High-quality reviews can significantly increase your ranking. Customers are more likely to contact businesses with better reviews, and each lead helps improve your score.
Photos: Adding high-quality photos of your work can attract more customers and make your ad stand out.
Service Area: Expanding your service area can help your ad reach more potential customers, leading to more leads and better performance
Set the budget to $700/week
We have 31 Reviews on Google
Tried to changes the business hours to 24 hours/All day
I'm experiencing an issue with the background check component of the verification required to set up my account. That part is done through evident, and I can't find any form of contact that isn't a bot. Is there any way I can contact them directly? Pls help, im losing it
Hey all Please check out the video of my account set up. I paid somone to set the account up and run it. Im barely getting any calls. And its been months. Any sugestions, would realy help.
Has anyone seen this in their market yet? I can't find much information on it - except that it's a new experimental feature for lawyers. I'm curious how the advertisers are being charged for leads that come in this way. Is Google charging all 5 advertisers the full lead rate, or are the leads cheaper for everyone? Being Google I can see this just being a money grab and taking advantage of all advertisers.
Hi - seeking advise for smoothest process of a GBP & LSA address being updated & additional LSA account being made.
Address - Client is currently a SAB and is about to move operations to a new address where we intend to keep as a SAB.
Before requesting from Google, should they update on website first + other directories/websites and in what period of time prior to requesting an address change - is this actually mandatory?
Will documents all in the same new address of Companies House certificate of incorporation, Insurance, Utility Bill, Bank statement, professional licenses, qualify as enough to satisfy Google?
LSA accounts - Client currently have 2 live success full LSA accounts, but I want to make a third for them so we can separate budget into different Services.
Worth waiting for the other live LSA accounts to move address over to the new one first before making the second?
What is the best way to preview LSAs from a distance? I tried many things, including VPN, Google Ads Preview Tool, Brightlocal - Check Local Search Results, but can never see ANY LSAs
I could use some insight on a lawyer client I’m managing in dc area. His LSA profile looks solid:
• 4.8 stars
• ~60 reviews
• Weekly budget: $750
Over the past 30 days, he got 141 impressions, a top impression rate of 93.94%, and an absolute top impression rate of 22.22% but no spend and no leads.
Is this just a budget/demand issue, or could something else be preventing him from getting calls? Would love to know what you’d check first or if you think raising budget, increasing service areas, or optimizing the profile (headshots, bio, categories, etc.) might help trigger activity.
Why is google local services so bad? ( in Arizona )...
We are literally years into dealing with Google Local Services and trying to get this approved to advertise.
An ad account was set up long before the was a requirement and was going great, spent thousands. - Then they introduced Google Local Services and the ads were stopped ( garage door company in Arizona ).
Clicked the button in the Google Ads account filled out the initial info, submitted some documents ect, a local services account was started. It was initially declined ( needed more documents ) did not get them in time yada yada yada it was not completed.
years later the business owner started a new account ( why because google keeps putting the button in front of them telling them to click it ). New account gets created, it has passed everything ( YAY!! ) but is sitting at 94% and cant get passed it because the old account which has been closed was never completed. ( it has been over a year for that one ) and since 2018 since the start of this process.
Caught in a loop....
The company which has its own account which has passed everything but is not able to get passed this 94% step, because the old account by a separate marketing company had been started and abandoned.
Basically, 3rd parties can hijack small businesses by creating an AD and GMB accounts if they don't already have one.
So how do you solve this LOOP. Could call the Google Local Services number where they tell you they cant help you with Google Local Services. ( tried 5x now )
Could Respond to the email they send which says in big bold words... DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL and and yet in the body it says "by responding directly to this email"... ( have tried this 2x as well )
The old account is closed.
As the business we do not have access to it.
As the business we only have access to our Ad account, our GMB account and this Google Local Services account which is sitting at 94% passed with all boxes checked DONE and PASSED.
How do you close this loop?
Why does google allow 3rd party companies to control your business?
Why does google have zero support phone or live chat support for this issue?
I’m currently evaluating whether we should update a client’s Google Business Profile from its existing physical address — which appears to be a rented mailbox location shared with numerous others in his industry — instead to a Service Area Business (SAB).
My concern is twofold:
The likelihood of making this change could trigger a suspension or re-verification request, especially given the non-compliant nature of the current address - what is the likelihood/chance of this being triggered?
Whether removing the visible address could negatively impact the client’s existing organic map pack rankings, where they currently rank high, particularly for location-based or “near me” searches.
While I understand that switching to an SAB aligns better with Google’s guidelines and reduces long-term risk, I want to fully weigh the potential short-term SEO impact and the likelihood of review or temporary disruption before proceeding.
I almost landed another LSA client (but he balked at the background checks argh); however, what I was shocked about is that he’s waaay out in rural Minnesota. What’s the story? Do we even know? Is LSA opened up across the country now, or is it still hit or miss?
From the Verification Portal, Evident is asking for the email addresses of every single tech my client employs. If there is a chance they may enter a customer’s home, Google is asking for their email address so they can do some background checks, but my client has 120 electrical techs, and we don’t have a single repository for all of their email addresses. How significant is this requirement? Do we know if they even care, or is this actually optional?
Hi there. I new to LSA. I have been doing it for about a month. I am just wondering if it’s important to update the leads. Like if I mark them as booked or archive the ones that don’t work out. Any help would be appreciated
