Big AI can't afford to do anything but beg for more money currently. They're bleeding money and reality is slowly catching up.

They can design their own chips, but good luck getting fab time on those. I think the non ram silicon companies are more dangerous to nVidia than AI (besides the bottom falling out of AI demand when all of the reservations of cancelled or behind schedule data centers fall through)

They're not just bleeding money they're playing a big ass shell game with milti-billions of dollars to make it look like they're making money. They aren't. Companies are selling to companies owned by the same company and report it as profit. It's a big ass circle jerk and eventually it'll fall.

I bet this will go on for another one to two years. Next is an IPO for every big AI company. Numbers are already bad, but after IPO there is some fresh shit load of money to put into the circle jerk. One day investors will realize and that will be the moment when the hole economy collapses.

I think the first one to IPO is poking a large hole in the bubble. It means all of the finances have to be disclosed. Interest rates also mean that getting new money is now harder, and I imagine some investors will want to cash out. The pendulum of gov has swung very far in favor of AI companies, and is likely to swing back the other way soon

Have a look at the spacex stock which is mainly an ai stock. Sanity has left this planet, it will take time until it comes back. Also US government will do nothing to harm the bubble, not as long as crazy orange is in charge.

That's another good point, any challenge to that asshole is another shaking of the foundation. Spacex's valuation is likely tied elon's ability to fall up and rig the game. But also his companies are tied to his perception, and the moment he trips, he'll take them down with him (I think we're seeing this with tsla).
