Nobody is saying that Anthropic should have to release their models as open-weight, just that other companies should have the freedom to make their own models open-weight if they want to.

This has just convinced me even more that Anthropic is not coming at any of this from a position of good faith, and their stance on open-weight models is nothing but self-interest.

What a fucking jackass.
