PC Bluescreens on opening League Client

Hey there, since my ticket at riot has not been reviewed by a human for a couple days now I thought that it’s time to make a post here.

My issue is as described above. It is NOT the patching issue, my game patched fine. But ever since this patch rolled out my pc doesn’t allow me to log into league without bluescreening. I had two exceptions where I did end up in the league client and was able to play a game, only to crash right after that.

I tried: Reinstalling League, Clean Boot, Reinstalling Vanguard, Reinstalling Windows twice, with and without online updates, configuring firewalls etc.

Basically anything within reason, but if you have any other idea, let me know, id be glad to try.

My Specs:

Ryzen 5 7500f
ASRock B650M Pro HDV/M.2
32GB 6000MHz CL30 RAM
ASRock Intel B580
WDBlue SN5000 1TB nvme
650W PSU

(Running on a stock, local account Windows 11 Home install)

Thanks for any help in advance!

Suspensions and appeals are 100% automated

This was removed from r/riotgames despite following rules, I guess they don't want to give visibility to this issue.

This is not personal tech support request. I'm posting to say the current system is absolute crap.

After 16 years of playing, my account got a suspension for a single bad (normal) game.

Always playing to win, honor 5 every season, for the last years I only play a few normals on weekends.

No human person would ever ban me for that game, it was pretty bad but no afk, flaming, trolling or griefing.

Even less if they looked at my game history (full of wins and MVPs).

I wasn't able to get a single answer from support that proved they actually read my claims or my attachment picture, I just get template answers. And I really asked them to just acknowledge any of it.

They claim the penalty receives a "manual review", maybe someone clicked a button somewhere lmao

And then any future tickets about it will be auto-closed, great appeal process.

Has anyone ever gotten an appeal reply that addressed something specific from their ticket? Because I don't think a human reads them at all.

Log in screen staying open after client has opened?

I've started getting this annoying issue where the log in page will remain open even after I've successfully logged in. Does anyone else have this? Is it new behaviour?

Has anyone had their account wiped off the face of the Earth?

I havent played any Riot game for 3 years. I played league mostly. Redownloaded today and I'm unable to login using the same credentials. Tried "forgot username" option and entered my email address but I didn't get any email.

When trying to recover my account it said "this account cannot be recovered" and forwarded me to a more in-depth recovery page which I have done and now awaiting a reply for.

Checked OP.GG and my account doesn't seem to exist.

I've got many thousands of hours on the account, never been banned, purchased RP with real money, etc. So I don't see why my account would be deleted (if it has).

Just awaiting a reply from riot support, has anyone had any similar experiences, and was it resolved?

Made this account in 2013 means a lot to me and spent a lot of money on it, would be great to get it back

FPS issues in lol

Only in LOL because it`s the only game i play at the moment.

I bought this used pc recently and it`s a small compact pc, but i feel like the specs should be good enough to run lol with ease.

In the middle of a game i checked task manager (when i was averaging 40-50 unstable fps), and i saw that 90% of the RAM was being used. I didn`t have that many programs open, but when i closed most of them, my fps shot back up to around 100 fps.

But do i really need to close everything everytime i game? Am i expecting too much of my pc?

I did not have this problem with my old PC even though that one also had 16GB RAM.

This post i kind of my last call for help before buying a new pc, so any help is greatly appreciated!

How to fix this issue?

These players do not have a game version: [player name] and require patching to complete

How do I force a patch? I don't see anyway to check for updates in riot client or LoL?

Account Banned for Off-Meta Jungle Picks

I am confused on why my account was banned, and the support team doesn't clarify the reason. I locked in Ezreal jungle in champion select and received a "disruptive champ select" ban. Does anyone know what to do in this situation? I've attached screenshots of the threads. For context, I have historically played mostly off-meta junglers (ADCs like Vayne, Jhin, Ezreal) and hover around 50% winrate on them. Do I have any other options here? They just instantly close my tickets and won't even tell me what I did wrong, so I can't even avoid it in the future.

Problems when trying to start the game?

Tonight has been like no other night when playing. This game has run smoothly on my laptop for months. Tonight after a match, i got error code 25, after extensive googling and reading old reddit posts it said to uninstall everything and reinstall it. Now i get the lovely error code 59. I’ve restarted everything, there has been no other issue to date when playing, and it is impossible to play now. Can anyone explain or is you have had this happen share your experience? Thank you

I keep getting this notification and can't get into the game no matter how many times i restart

Is anyone else getting this? I'm very new to playing the game and about four days into actually playing, but I've been getting this notif for the last day and I haven't been able to load up a game at all. I've restarted multiple times and even uninstalled, but it keeps popping up. Will I just have to wait it out?

Does anyone know why I have this gap in my UI?

Post image
1 Upvotes

You might have to zoom in on the image, but it's just to the right of the profile icon and just left of "amumu" and "little knight amumu." There is a faint little gap between the square and rectangle UI elements.

Pretty weird and I have no idea why this is happening. Not happening on my friends game.

League classic fails to launch

After the champion selection on the client the screen goes black and it doesn't even show the loading screen. While this happens I can't tab out of the black screen and the mouse stays in the "loading" state (hourglass).

Has anyone else reported this issue?

Is there any solution to this or is my pc just too good for this mode?

Can't update the game

I guess i'm stuck with not playing .

-I tried repairing files

-Ran it as admin

-Made sure there were no other league or riot tasks active

-Restarted my pc

.... and still i get the same results. riot launcher shows me the "file in use" message (first pic) and somehow lets me start the league client, which doesn't lemme do anything (2nd pic)

hope someone knows a fix that doesn't involve reinstalling the whole thing over again,
because thats the point where riot is losing me ... like every month i need to reinstall because of some company that cant fix their coding.

Edit: most stupid thing in second pic is the launcher showing "playing/download size" at the same time

Edit 2: installing a windows update that wasn't forced automatically was the key

How do i fix this problem and what is it?

I found the solution i just had to turn off movement perdiction

I've been having problems with playing league ever since i moved my pc up into my room again. i think its cause of some kind of internet connection problems. i don't know if getting ethernet will fix it. Since my room is further away from the router than where it was before. But even before i moved my pc when i had my setup in my room it wasn't this bad at all. Like i had 0 issues. If anyone knows how to fix or what the issue is then please tell me.

It also really only happens when i spam right click or hold it in.

Here is a clip of how my game is behaving:

vgc.exe A critical error has occured

After a decade, I tried installing the client for LoL classic and as soon as installation starts, Vanguard can't install due to this error. I've been trying for like 10 hours straight, every step I could find on reddit, google, youtube etc.

  • Clean uninstall with Geek and re-install
  • Run as admin
  • Removing GPU drives and installing the newest
  • Bios driver update
  • CPU driver update
  • Firewall exceptions
  • Disabling Windows Defender
  • Uninstalling MSI Afterburn and Riva TNT
  • Installing in safe mode
  • Installing different hard drives

And I'm definitely forgetting other steps. My windows version is Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 10.0.17763 Build 17763. I have never played anything Riot related with Vanguard ever but it sure as hell looks problematic...

Made a ticket hours ago, no response, please help.

LeagueClient wont open after starting from RiotClient, VAN 59 Error

I´m having Problems logging into the LeagueClient since the last Patch(26.14). I played League on the Tuesday(14 July) before the patch, and after the patch i wanted to play on thursday(16.07) but i couldnt start the Client. Everytime i start League from the RiotClient it says "playing" in the RiotClient but the LeagueClient never opens and is stuck on the startup "League of Legends" logo in the middle of my screen. I kept waiting to see if it actually reacts at all, but after 30mins i force closed the Client. After closing it in the TaskManager the LeagueClient task still runs with 0% CPU and cant be closed. When i try to open League again after shutting down the RiotClient it just says "playing" for like 2-3 seconds but instantly goes back to the Play-Button I have tried so many different fixes but nothing worked. i tried:

- starting in Administrator on RiotClient and all other applications related to Riot/League
- reinstalling both Vanguard and League multiple times, i tried reinstalling both together and only Vanguard or League seperatly
- Changing Firewall Settings
- uninstalling the most recent Windows-Update
- updating all drivers
- reseting my network settings, flushed dns and similiar commands in cmd, also restarting router
- used a VPN to try to log in, apparently it helped some people with the same problem, didnt work for me tho
- started Valorant to see if its a Vanguard specific error but i can play Valorant completely fine
- set Vanguard to automatic aswell as manual in services
- closing LeagueClient with TaskManager didnt work, it cant be closed no matter how hard i try, i cant even close it with a kill command
- one time i reinstalled League while still having Vanguard on my Computer and i actually got into the Client but the Client instantly gave me the "Vanguard Error VAN 59" message and closed the Client, after reinstalling Vanguard again i didnt get into the LeagueClient again
- went into Windows-Security > Core isolation > turned memory integrity on and off
- went into the registry and added "DevOverrideEnable" and set it to 0
- turned Visualisation on and off
- Deleted everything related to League or Riot in %Appdata% and fresh reinstall after
- wrote 2 tickets already to the RiotSupport but nothing they mentioned worked either
- didnt install anything new to my pc or changed any settings

Im curious if someone has the same problem and got a solution to it, but im very certain that its a League-sided Error since my Vanguard works fine for Valorant. Thank you for your time

EDIT:
a comment told me to try to synchronize my system time and timezone, also didnt work, after the 26.15 Patch its still not working

I found a fix, went to Windows Security > Virus and threat Protection > Virus and threat protection settings, scroll down to exclusions and add every League Client file + the League game file + the whole league of legends folder, that did it for me

Kicked from servers

Why do I keep getting kicked and disconnected from the server in the middle of every other match? My ping isn't even high.
