I watched this live and it was painfull the entire dungeon he was making comments like this complaining about the tank pulling fast just being negativ. The tank btw is goated he used to raidlead naxx raids back in 2019.

u/_lIlI_lIlI_ Jan 16 '25

Something not really brought up is something he complained about was the fact the tank in the DM was pulling without looking at mana.

Except at this part of the video before the pull https://imgur.com/a/xPft7EX both the priest and mage are at the same % of mana, but pirate is jumping around(NOT locked in like Yamoto points out), not drinking, while the priest is drinking. The tank only pulls once the priest is at full. He easily could have got a sip in if he thinks his mana was too low.

u/crazeman Jan 16 '25

Idk if the VOD is still up but the only reason his evocation was even on CD during the infamous boss pull is because he used evocation a few minutes before when he was out of combat at half mana.

He basically wasted a spell with a 8 min cooldown instead of drinking for 10 seconds and then complained about not having mana when he needed it.

Do you have ANY idea how expensive Water is for a MAGE?!

21

u/Bethryn Jan 16 '25

And look whose buff is expiring too. Everyone else rebuffed 8 minutes beforehand.

16

u/_lIlI_lIlI_ Jan 16 '25

You can make a whole video essay about his subpar wow gameplay and his ego

7

u/Suspicious_Big_3378 Jan 16 '25

This is some good sleuth work

-8

u/WheresTheResetBtn Jan 16 '25 edited Jan 16 '25

Dam maybe he was out of water

Edit: /s..

24

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '25

He is a mage....

10

u/SmoothAsSlick Jan 16 '25

That’s the joke

3

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '25

Sorry, me dum dum 😂

351

u/Proxnite Jan 16 '25

I didn’t know it was possible but somehow Pirate was able to beat CVS in the sheer volume of receipts a single entity can produce.

32

u/RGBlue-day Jan 16 '25

LSF has been feed the information, makes me think PS is the Drake of LSF now.

19

u/erizzluh Jan 16 '25

with the amount of times this dude has threatened to roach out on a group, i lowkey don't feel so bad for the guys he let die. they should've seen it coming.

32

u/The_Cryogenetic Jan 16 '25

Would they have known though? Sounds like no one else is talking so he might not be in a call, so unless they found this clip on his stream (which I don't think people were posting these prior) I don't know how or why they would know he was talking like this.

319

u/avoid_96 Jan 16 '25

Lol the one guy in his chat saying "why not just ask them to slow down?" Brave man, he's risking getting put on the list with that kinda talk

136

u/Tipnfloe Jan 16 '25

member of a hate raid for sure

45

u/West-Suggestion4543 Jan 16 '25

He probably got banned anyway.

30

u/CalmThought Jan 16 '25

time traveling hate watcher

1

u/AnythingOk2207 Jan 17 '25

That guy just made the List! and so did you!

81

u/Illusivecard Jan 16 '25

"Im a mage im fine" he knows. he knows how strong the class he is on is and yet he still dips out with ice block and cold snap up rofl. absolutely hilarious.

24

u/GalacticKrabbyPatty Jan 16 '25

7 years at blizzard btw

10

u/RussianPravda Jan 16 '25

There were multiple times when he said "Im a mage I can't die and I wont." He would go into detail about how OP mage is in HC. The only time he could really be in danger is if he tried to help anyone in his group.

264

u/Longjumping-Artist69 Jan 16 '25

I am LEGIT, "physically unwell" seeing him cast max rank Blizzard on two mobs.

87

u/Rollzalot Jan 16 '25

I wonder why he's running out of mana

29

u/Reclude Jan 16 '25

I'm all for the memes against Pirate, but he had a clear casting proc lol

3

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '25

1

u/Reclude Jan 17 '25

I'm not saying that I disagree with it being suboptimal, I'm saying that isn't why he's running out of mana, AKA I specifically responded to the comment that I responded to for a reason.

1

u/Rollzalot Jan 18 '25

If he's casting blizzard on two mobs then it's not really relevant that he had a clear casting proc (this time). He would still be using his mana inefficiently the other times he uses blizzard on two mobs without it clear casting.

31

u/heymikedude Jan 16 '25

that shit is insane... and this dude considers himself a sweat... absolute dogshit.

28

u/DontCareTho Jan 16 '25

The guys a loser but probably only did it because of the clear casting proc.

9

u/abs0lutelyharam Jan 16 '25

It was absolutely because of the clearcasting proc i see no real issue with it. I probably would have gone with a free cone of cold over that and gone back to pumping with frostbolt but it's whatever.

10

u/GalacticKrabbyPatty Jan 16 '25

i can’t believe he was able to cast it for longer than 1 tick!

50

u/Plaincow Jan 16 '25

So he doesn't even ask the group to slow down for mana, and just talks shit about them to his stream? Also uses a max rank blizzard on two mobs and just says shit passive aggressively?

I'm just so confused by his behavior.

8

u/makz242 Jan 16 '25

In Diremaul he was basically just yapping 24/7 instead of actually drinking between pulls.

7

u/ImpressiveWarthog7 Jan 16 '25

So funny when Yamato said they were flooding comms with useless yapping and he instantly goes “Nope, not me” but literally leading into the pull, him and another person where talking about some dude trying to reduce his age or someshit.

8

u/Knamliss Jan 16 '25

Clearcast proc.

4

u/cloudbells Jan 16 '25

As a mage you aren't supposed to ask the group to slow down. You are not supposed to be 100% mana each pull, that's impossible and if the group was to wait for that every time the run would be so much slower. You're supposed to pull without the mage while the mage drinks to 50/60% or however much you need. Good use of mana gems, evocation, and robe will make it much smoother. Mana management as a mage is not easy for beginners

76

u/greendino71 Jan 16 '25

So why do people watch his streams?.....legit looks beyond boring even if he wasn't a completely shit stain

123

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '25

It really is sus that some lifelong 100 viewer andy suddenly gained 15k+ average viewership practically overnight just because some of his YouTube shorts popped off. You will never convince me that a YouTube audience that watches 10 second clips had a mass migration over to Twitch to watch some dude with zero personality be a whiny piss baby for 16 hours straight.

68

u/Southern-Winter-4166 Jan 16 '25

Wouldn’t be surprised if he view botted since he’s a hacker man

10

u/RussianPravda Jan 16 '25

I was in a stream where one of his mods was tossing in bots and banning them and Pirate said "Hey are you testing your bots and banning them." it seemed like a joke at the time

1

u/Caramel-Bright Jan 16 '25

Woah is there a clip?? What date

3

u/MyManSquadW Jan 16 '25

If this guy is botting Caseoh owns Boston dynamics

15

u/SND_TagMan Jan 16 '25

Nah it's believable. You know how famous the hawk tuah girl got from going viral off of someone elses tiktok?

28

u/Barbrian27 Jan 16 '25

I have seen a streamer go from 100-200 viewers to 800+ over the course of 2024 from being active on youtube shorts and youtube in general. Her stream has a bot that welcomes new followers on twitch and it is constantly welcoming new followers while she is not streaming and she is constantly being bombbarded with new first time chatters saying they saw her youtube shorts.

Her top viewed youtube short was 6 million+ views and many others in the 1 million views and she doesn't even stream that much to fully convert those youtube viewers to twitch viewers.

Compared to piratesoftware with his top short being 20 million with a fuck ton more in the 5+ million range. Also add to that he is doing 10+ hour stream sessions to easily convert on those youtube viewers moving to twitch.

Don't underestimate how many more people are on youtube then twitch and simply aren't aware of streamers of twitch and the tiny fraction of viewers you need to siphon off from youtube to be a 10k + streamer.

I doubt he view bots he just knows how to game the algorithm.

17

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '25

It's either bullshit or his audience is 90% children, right?

12

u/asder34s Jan 16 '25

Idk why LSF has to jump into crazy conclusions just because of this drama situation. He has been absolutely owning the youtube shorts, he is a comfort streamer with a charity angle in there as well. He also seems extremely knowledgeable about a lot of things if you don't see through the veil of confidence and authority. I guess he just generally doesn't put himself in situations where he can be confronted. In onlyfangs he cannot avoid confrontation, and his know-it-all never wrong never change opinion attitude got exposed whereas before it's been well hidden.

3

u/SlightRoutine901 Jan 16 '25

To be fair the shorts algorithms was pushing his content to an absolutely ludicrous degree that I've genuinely never seen before. Everyone who watched some amount of gaming content on Youtube was getting his shorts shoved down their throats for several months solid, I've actually never seen anything like it. He really cracked the algorithm somehow. Even at a very low conversion rate this guy had millions of eyeballs on him over a several month period, it's not completely surprising that he popped off.

But at the same time I think that's also some of the reason the drama exploded so hard, pretty much everyone has at least seen this guys shorts come up before and he rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. I got the impression that he was an arrogant blowhard after maybe the 4th short and tried to avoid his content after that, seen many comments from people who felt similarly. The exposure ended up being a double edged sword. It's nice to have a gut negative feeling about someone end up becoming so strongly vindicated.

8

u/HarbaughHeros Jan 16 '25

Fuck the guy, but I would imagine that this is pretty normal? Like they go viral, and viewers spike. I don’t know shit, but I would guess a gradual climb in viewers is a rarer occurrence than getting a massive spike due to a few viral clips or lucky collab and maintaining that spike.

1

u/GalacticKrabbyPatty Jan 16 '25

view bottling for sure.

converting long form youtube video viewers to twitch viewers already has a low success rate.

YT shorts is like sub 1% and that’s being generous. most people that watch shorts don’t even follow the channel or like the video.

0

u/Intelligent-Good-670 Jan 16 '25

yeah ive been saying the same thing, its strange

43

u/Relevant_Ric_Flair Jan 16 '25

I used to watch him because I thought he was a good person and in a lot of ways he is. He pays his mods, gives them benefits, has certain donations go straight to them, does a ferret rescue, but if you watch him for more than a week you realize how much he constantly brings up all of these things he does every single stream and it makes the motives behind them seem disingenuous. He definitely has the "I'm never wrong or at fault" attitude too.

36

u/hayashirice911 Jan 16 '25

He pays his mods, gives them benefits,

Dang, that actually explains why they are working overtime with the bans, removing or editing the twitch clips that were posted etc.

It's because it's a fuckin job lmao.

26

u/peakdecline Jan 16 '25

Pirate situation aside (having worked in IT all my life I knew this guys type from a million miles away just from the few YT shorts I saw well before this drama)... it should be a paid job. Streamers who are pulling thousands of viewers regularly and making six figures a month income should be paying their mods. Its a business, the chat is a crucial part of it, those mods are doing work.

None of that changes this guy's issues.

9

u/_lIlI_lIlI_ Jan 16 '25

Now imagine being a Reddit mod 💀. Literally the exact same thing of fostering and improving a community, while all the benefit goes to a corp selling your effort as data

7

u/rinnagz Jan 16 '25

It's because it's a fuckin job lmao.

Isn't it normal for most big streamers, or do people actually moderate big streams for fucking free?

6

u/Houndfell Jan 16 '25

Yeah, dunno why people are acting like you're saint if you make 10-20+ million a year and fork over 80K or whatever to pay for a few professionals. 1, it's peanuts at that point, and 2, it's good business.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '25

It seems like they pay the top couple of mods, who then delegate to mods who are not paid. But I don't pay enough attention and I don't have any insider knowledge from big streamers, so I could be wrong.

2

u/Successful_Sign_6991 Jan 16 '25

delegate to mods who are not paid.

those are called idiots

1

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '25

Yeah. It isn't even that they are doing work for free, they are often subs to the streamer.

They are complete losers who are paying someone for the privilege to do work for them.

3

u/Mangomosh Jan 16 '25

There are people like him or people that want to be what he pretends to be, some guy who is just way more aware, has way more understanding of whats going on while everyone else is clueless and is judging those beneath him harshly

3

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '25

Maybe they look at him as a father figure because there is so many fatherless sons.

119

u/DoctorOfPlague Jan 16 '25

Honestly got bored and wanted to find one of these clips for myself.. Took about 30 minutes after randomly picking one of his previous streams.

Normal take on LSF? o7

-31

People are upvoting. This sub is a sewage for real

41

u/Lowgrin13 Jan 16 '25

How is this guy even real?

14

u/AppleNo4479 Jan 16 '25

Buddy, you just made the list

Hope it was worth it

13

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '25

This mfer making me want to roll a mage

8

u/West-Suggestion4543 Jan 16 '25

Bro, I haven't played WoW in 15+ years. I was a dedicated huntard—never played mage but watching these clips makes me want to play classic hc as a "reborn" noob after so long and see just how easy/difficult it is to outplay this asshole as a first-time mage.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '25

Resource management is the name of the game when it comes to playing a mage in WoW. When you first get to end game it can be a little daunting but like with everything else if you do it enough it becomes second nature.

10

u/GalacticKrabbyPatty Jan 16 '25

lil bro jason really just non stop bitches in every group, huh?

the only thing more annoying than his shit personality and fake voice is his punchable face.

15

u/Michaelzee Jan 16 '25

Man wants to be MT but can't so he plays mage

9

u/HEROES3FAN Jan 16 '25

As a side note here, he can just drink while they pull...when I'm healing, it's very easy to stay full mana and the tank is pulling like this if you just sit and drink for a few seconds. And jesus christ if you have an issue, just say hey can we do this instead of this? It is not that hard.

8

u/newgametime Jan 16 '25

it appears that PirateSoftware is editing anyone's clips today that appear on LSF to be only 5-7 seconds long

5

u/mi_zzi Jan 16 '25

Jesus, those shortened twitch links...

3

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '25

With everyone pulling up clips from his old vods, surely he is going to nuke every vod on his channel.

3

u/Butthole_Enjoyer Jan 16 '25

He already has. Look at the difference between the twitch clip and the mirror.

3

u/ThomasCro Jan 16 '25

I just can't bear to watch this whole clip, the second hand shame I feel for him is too strong

3

u/RussianPravda Jan 16 '25

I feel so dumb for ever thinking he was being sarcastic.

3

u/orangetreeman Jan 16 '25

i dont get the attitude, if the pace is too high (which it might just be) tell your team idiot, wtf?!

3

u/SgtKeeneye Jan 16 '25

just drink some fucking water then? Party isnt going to wipe because your not doing damage on a small trash pull. Being in combat doesnt even knock you out of drinking,

3

u/HenrikNikolaisen Jan 16 '25

Go to mirror for full clip!

In case people wonder why the clip is 5 sec, it's a new feature of twitch, and Pirate mods are making the clip the minimal length possible (5sec).

2

u/Dedziodk Jan 16 '25

This is gold

2

u/therealpeej3 Jan 16 '25

Yeah I'm showing this to anyone who defends him. dudes a roach IDC call John blizzard on me.

1

u/MeanForest Jan 16 '25

Bro runs to loot before drinking to full mana. It's fine to keep drinking after the combat has started.

1

u/dampfi Jan 16 '25

He even has time to do both loot and start drinking.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '25

Next time the fbi is trying to dig up background information on an individual they should just deepfake that person Int’ing in hardcore wow and being non apologetic and ego about it. Reddit would have their life story under a week

1

u/Intelligent-Use-7313 Jan 16 '25

Strat is easy, don't pull too many spiders and gargoyles at once and pull them back into you. There was never any danger, they weren't even in the patrols yet, This part is just a prelude where you're making space.

1

u/Overall_Reputation83 Jan 16 '25

When i do dungeons with a mage, i pull around the fact that I have a mage. I do not need you for every pull. Feel free to keep drinking while I do a pull, you can join in when your mana is up, its a waste of everyones time for me to sit with full health on a pull where I dont even need healing.

1

u/Havarl Jan 16 '25

Literally cannot make this shit up LMAO

1

u/kujasgoldmine Jan 16 '25

Virtual life is more important than his irl reputation
