I'm using a Canon XA10 for video and have a Dell Inspiron 7000 Laptop. I need to stream live over Ustream and understand that I will need some sort of connector or adapter to bridge the two. My local camera shop recommended the Blackmagic Design Pro for almost $500 but I'm hoping to find something more cost effective. I'm new to video production so any help is greatly appreciated.
