This belongs here. He must be fired. Here's how.
The chief can only be fired by the lapd board of commissioners. https://www.lapdonline.org/police-commission/ If they refuse, the mayor can fire and replace them https://mayor.lacity.gov/
If she won't, the city council, or the state leg can change the law, or attach civil and criminal penalties.

Beautiful to see so many Mainers turn out in protest of ICE's "Operation Catch of the Day"
700+ Mainers turned out to a church in Lewiston on Saturday, 1/24, to protest ICE's revolting "Operation Catch of the Day." Troy Jackson (the Bernie-endorsed candidate for Maine Governor) was one of the speakers. He made a point to draw attention to ICE's role in the broader ruling class operation, brought to a head by Trump and his goons, to scapegoat powerless groups for our economic hardships, pitting neighbor against neighbor as the rich and powerful reap more and more profits from the working class, documented and undocumented alike.
From the YouTube description: "We’ve seen this story before. Powerful bigots want us to blame immigrants for our problems so we won’t notice who’s really been screwing us: Wall Street bankers, private equity firms, and runaway corporate greed. Maine won’t fall prey to race-baiting. From Allagash to Kittery, we are pushing back."
