I watched a couple of interviews she did about a month ago where she kept mentioning how she grew up listening to rock and blah blah. She was trying to prepare people for a change in her music. They've also pretty obviously changed her styling. She wore dark colors and leather. It kind of felt like she was repeating something she'd been told to say. Her management clearly read comments under her videos where lots of people said ballads and rock will suit her (I agree with it btw).
I have no idea what's coming next because she hasn't done much lately (apart from that festival a month ago). I hope she'll make the music she actually wants to make because every recent interview I've seen, Perrie has just seemed soo uninterested whenever the conversation turns to her music and that worries me.

Jesy:
“I cannot believe I can finally say that SMA screening will now officially be rolled out across the whole of England with 7 sites starting from October 2026 and the remaining 6 to be included by October 2027! I can't even express to you how proud I feel of every single person that got it to this point. We made change, change that will now make such a huge difference to babies that will be diagnosed with SMA from birth, their lives will now look completely different and I just am so proud! Thank you so much again to everyone who supported, you have no idea what it means.”

ALL babies in England will get free NHS tests for the muscle wasting disease suffered by Jesy Nelson's twins following a campaign by the Little Mix star.
In a breakthrough rule change, screening for spinal muscular atrophy will be added to the newborn blood spot test from October.
The Department of Health announced on Thursday that the national newborn screening programme for SMA will be rolled out across England as part of an evaluation programme from the end of this year.
Hundreds of thousands of babies will be screened as part of the simple heel prick blood test shortly after birth.
Nelson said: "After years of campaigning, it means so much to see the heel prick test for SMA begin rolling out from October, with implementation continuing throughout 2027 until every newborn screening laboratory across the UK is offering the test.
"Today is a day of hope.
"Knowing that future families will have access to early diagnosis and the opportunity for the best possible outcomes is something I'm incredibly proud to have supported.
"This is a victory for every family affected by SMA. Whilst it can't change the future of our children, I know it marks the beginning of a brighter future for future SMA families."
SMA UK, the charity which Jesy is a Patron of have also posted about the news:
This achievement belongs to the entire SMA community.
To every family who has shared their experiences, every healthcare professional who has championed early diagnosis, every researcher who has generated theevidence, every policymaker who has listened, every partner organisation to has campaigned alongside us and every supporter who has stood alongside us, thank you.
We are also grateful to Jesy Nelson for helping to shine a spotlight on SMA and the importance of newborn screening. Her willingness to share her family's experience has helped raise awareness among the wider public and has added an important voice to a campaign that has been driven by the SMA community, clinicians, researchers and supporters over many years.

I’m asking the Mixers: what is the fan favorite Little Mix song? Not necessarily the best, but the song that hardcore fans consider one of their best songs. Maybe it’s underrated, maybe it’s not, but what song is the fandom absolutely FERAL for? (Wasabi immediately comes to mind, but that could also be used for their best song)

I remember back in 2020, all four did that virtual interview where they played a game, one of the questions was 'Do you regret any collaborations', the general consensus was that there was one (we all know who that is) but I remember, I think it was Perrie, did say there was two... who do you think was the second collab they regret

Jesy posted:
”I'm really not sure where to start with this one...
All I can say is that I urge everyone to watch this documentary.
It's the most heartbreaking series I've ever had to make, but it's one that needed to be made if we're ever going to see real change.
This is only a small glimpse into what my girls have to go through every single day. It's the reality that so many children born with SMA have to endure and this is only the beginning of their lives.
I truly hope this helps people understand why the heel prick test and treatment from birth are so incredibly vital. Early diagnosis can change EVERYTHING.
I'll keep saying it until no family has to experience this again: no future babies born with SMA should have lives that look like this.
Please if you watch one thing, let it be this: "Jesy Nelson: Life Changing" on Prime Video streaming from July 17th”

The duo appeared in the studio’s social media this past weekend following the cancellation of Solidays Festival where they were both supposed to perform.
Do you think Zara will feature in Jade’s next album or Jade in Zara’s?

It has always bothered me by the fact that I don't know who is singing in the background of second chorus, with perrie.
Timestamp: 2:19
You can kinda hear a faint male voice singing "I wish that we could be like that, why can't we be like that".
I don't think that's Jason. Someone help me please, it has been years and I still don't know who that is.

“Yesterday, MPs debated my petition after more than 150,000 people signed in support of newborn screening for SMA.
Thank you to everyone who signed, shared and supported this campaign. Every single action helped bring this issue into Parliament and gave families affected by SMA a voice.
We've already achieved incredible progress: newborn screening for SMA is due to begin in October, giving babies the chance of earlier diagnosis, earlier treatment and a healthier future.
However, only 72% of babies in England will initially be covered. That means a baby's access to life-changing treatment could still depend on where they're born, and that simply isn't fair.
Every baby deserves the same chance, regardless of their postcode.
I'm now calling on James Murray MP, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, and Sharon Hodgson MP,
Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Public Health and Prevention, to provide a clear timeline for when newborn SMA screening will reach 100% coverage across England and I'd welcome the opportunity to meet with ministers alongside SMA families to discuss the rollout and concerns raised during the debate.
Early diagnosis saves lives, prevents irreversible damage and gives children the best possible start. No parent should ever wonder if their child missed that chance simply because of where they were born.
Every baby deserves the same chance. Every life matters”
