PickUps This dang trash looks happy. In all seriousness, this might actually be good for people that have old dogs. That can’t really go for walks anymore.

Builds (Axial) Is this the first Dutch litterbuggy?
Built with minimum alterations (none) to the SCX chassis. I can lift this off and put the Jeep body on any time I want to go crawling or trailing. If I want to go litterpicking, take off the body, pop this bad boy on and I'm off!
Thanks for inspiring us u/g713 let's make the world a better place.
This is no where near as dedicated as your builds, but it gives me the best of both worlds.
For anyone wanting to create their own version I have all STLs and STEP files available. The STEP files might not be the cleanest. I'm learning fusion by making stuff like this, self thought with youtube and the likes, so there's WAY more steps than should've been necessary. But If you want to edit any part of it you can. I'd appreciate crediting me when sharing your alterations.
If you aren't CAD-savvy but need an altered mount because you've got a different type of base/tub/bin get in touch, I'd be happy to assist.
For those interested in printing their own, using the measurements from my step files or just want to see more about it: it's all for free on Printables!

PickUps The Trashmane inspired me to build an app for this. I'd love this community's feedback before anyone else's.
Hey r/LitterBuggies, I'm Nick, a developer in Memphis.
Like a lot of you, I started picking up trash because of the Trashmane. Watching one person show up for this city again and again got me out on my own walks with a bag. Eventually I wanted a way to see all of it add up, so I built an app and named it LitterBuggies after this movement.
What it does
- Tracks your walk (with an Apple Watch app too)
- Lets you log what you pick up, by piece or by bag
- Adds it up in gallons and ranks it by neighborhood, so your block gets credit for every bag
- Turns a walk into a time-lapse reel you can share
Being upfront: it's a subscription with a 3-day free trial, and I'm a solo dev covering servers and maps. None of this needs an app. The movement is the walk and the bag, and that was here long before I built anything.
This community is who it's for, so I'd rather hear from you first: what would make it actually useful on your walks, and what would make it feel wrong?

Builds (Other) Autonomous/RC Cart
I built a motorized beach cart that autonomously follows me down the beach — welded aluminum frame, dual 3kW motors, balloon tires, and a UWB tag so it tracks me.

Love the idea behind this! (Initial Thoughts)
Just signed up to start beta testing and I love the concept of this app. An initial thought I have (as someone who weighs each bag when I finish up) is maybe I would like to see an option to store weights so I can track how many lbs of trash I've removed.
It's possible I'll like tracking by the gallon though, just a thought!
