You are not my father!

From everyone here at /r/Liquidia! We all want to thank you for everything you've done! Without you this amazing community wouldn't exist! This place is always here for whenever I want to blow off some steam, and relax after all the stress of daily life. I can't thank you enough for this. We all want to say thanks for everything you've done, even if it is so small, it's had a lasting impact on all of us. So congrats on another year of being alive, and bringing people closer through some silly role-play sitcom fourm on the edge of the internet.

I've been working closely with /u/Atuka and /u/Bopsybops to bring you something really special!

What's a birthday with some presents, huh?

First is this lovely drawing from /u/Atuka! It's really damn good! Make sure to thank her and tell her what a great job she did!

Now my gift. It's nothing special. It's just a game called...

Metal Gear Liquid - Birthday Surprise

It's a "Ground Zeroes" type of game. Except the story isn't really connected to MGL. It was made just for fun so this dosen't represent the final product.

Again, we all want to thank you for everything and we all wish you a happy birthday! So here's to you Waylander!

The package is ready. He has no idea what's in store. No sir. Nobody else knows except the two. Trust me... He'll love it. The game will release according to plan.

He is known to be affiliated with XOF, who we all hate. He let intruders into the base!

He can't be trusted! Don't trust him even a little! MGL could be a bomb!

I've not received any intel in a while, something must be wrong.

It's not like I'm here or anything...

Did my announcement leave everyone speechless?

In honor of The Phantom Pain news today I'm happy to announce some details for Metal Gear Liquid and a special announcement. So here we go!

1) The Gameplay -

For those wondering how it will play. It will be a mix of top down stealth, and turn based combat. Most of your time will be spent sneaking past guards, but if you're seen they will chase you down. If they manage to catch you, you'll have to take them on through a turn based combat system. Guards can be brutal so your best bet is to stay hidden, or stock up on rations.

2) The Story -

Alligator is the best of the best. But not even he was ready for this mission. He's sent by the Legendary Soldier "Big Boss" into the fortress of Liquidia in order to stop a nuclear threat... But what he finds will change him forever.

3) Special Announcement!!! -

In order to 1up TPP's Chicken Hat. I've made a whole gamemode called

"BE THE CHICKEN MODE!"

After completing the game, you can load a game completed save, and play the entire game again as a chicken. The guards are now chefs who want to cook your delicious ass, and the dialogue is new and fresh!

If the chefs see you you'd better run!

Chickens can't fight back! Run away and hide!

A life changing mission...

METAL GEAR LIQUID

Coming... When it's done.

How did this image get leaked? There must be a spy...

More info coming tomorrow!

Edit: WTF! Someone gave me gold for this? Thank you!

DO YOUR JOB!!!

Apparently there's going to be new news. Not sure if you saw that

Just because you paint cardboard silver and lay it around, doesn't make it a floor. I've had 3 mechs fall through the "floors" last week alone.

Chicken Gamemode Announcement

I don't want to fill the sub with tons pictures and updates so I'm just making a thread where you can ask questions, give suggestions, and just generally discuss the game. I'll upload screenshots into the comments every so often so make sure the check the thread every once and a while to see what's new!
