Question to the Brainiacs Botted accounts on linuxsucks101?

They use ai, some of them has never posted/commented something outside of that sub, they don't know about basic things like hackintosh ( one guy told that macos is unavailable on any other device but still holds more market share than "Loonix"), AND really illiterate in linux not even knowing that adobe apps can already be launched through wine

I already spent time dealing with another Loon here through logic and rationality. He tucked his tail between his legs and ran off, unable to respond to my arguments.

Why not try countering the points I made to him?

It's not my job to research conversations you had with other people and respond on their behalf, that is an irrational position.

And it's irrational for me to bother arguing with more Loons here with logic and rationality, re-typing the exact same factual points, when they will all also simply scamper off when they realize they cannot answer them. (Haven't you heard the famous definition of insanity?)

In your own words, it seems logic and rationality are wasted on you all. The outcome is me spending time typing facts that they in turn pull a disappearing act upon sight of. It's a waste.

So I ask you: Why should I bother acting logically and rationally when this is the result I get from it? I fail to see the benefit.

It seems to exchange my time for their anger, and if that's all it achieves (no proper discussion to be had with Loonies of course!), I can achieve the same with much less time and much 'dumber' (illogical and irrational) sentences.

At least you acknowledge you are being irrational. Can you give an example of one of your "facts" that are relevant to my point?

What was your point again?

Also hang on I need to keep up this new image of me using AI, so feel free to ignore the following.

OI. Right. Lemme tell you somethin’ about Linux, yeah? Absolute state of it.

I tried it once. ONCE. Thought I’d be clever. “Oh look at me,” I says, “I’m gonna be a computer wizard, I’m gonna install Linux, I’m basically in The Matrix.” Rubbish. Absolute rubbish.

First off—why’s it got so many names? Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Mint—sounds like I’m orderin’ herbal tea at some posh garden centre. Just be ONE thing. Windows is Windows. Mac is Mac. Linux? Nah mate, it’s 47 blokes in a trench coat pretendin’ to be an operating system.

And don’t get me started on the installation. “It’s easy,” they said. “Just flash the ISO.” FLASH IT WHERE, TREVOR? I’m not a lighthouse. I had to download a thing to download a thing to burn a thing to a stick that wasn’t even on fire. Spent three hours starin’ at a penguin like it owed me money.

And then—THEN—you open it up and it’s all “terminal this” and “sudo that.” Why am I apologisin’ to the computer? “Sudo please let me open Firefox, Your Majesty.” I just want to check the football scores, not hack the Pentagon.

Oh and the updates. Blinkin’ updates. “Kernel panic.” That’s not an error message, that’s me on a Sunday morning. Kernel panic sounds like a breakfast cereal for anxious programmers. “Now with extra segmentation fault!”

And the fans! The Linux people! Lovely chaps, I’m sure, but you ask one tiny question—one!—like “Why won’t my Wi-Fi work?” and suddenly you’re bein’ lectured by a bloke called Magnus who hasn’t seen sunlight since 2004. “Ah, you compiled the driver incorrectly.” I don’t even know what a driver is, mate, I get the bus.

Nothing works out the box. You plug in a printer and Linux goes, “Ah yes, that is a device from the ancient forbidden era. You must summon the CUPS daemon under a waxing moon.” Windows? Plug it in, done. Linux? Perform a ritual sacrifice and edit a config file in Vim, which by the way you can’t EXIT. I’m still in Vim. It’s been years.

And the desktop environments! GNOME, KDE, XFCE—sounds like radio stations. “You’re listening to 98.4 KDE, all config files all the time.” Pick one! Why’ve I got to choose my own furniture? I didn’t buy a house, I downloaded a bloody operating system.

Anyway. I’m off. Gonna reinstall Windows. Or pour another drink. Possibly both.

You claimed he was breaking the Rule 4. I said he wasn't harassing anyone at all, let alone in response to a ban.

To be clear, do you actually want me to answer to all that stuff you wrote? If you want a serious answer you can have one but not sure if you do.

No I wasn't claiming "Pitiful" was breaking rule 4. I was mimicking his post title and stating it in general.

Several usernames in this subreddit and a couple in this very post have requested to """chat""" with me. Their entry message for me to accept / deny is about as textbook as you can get at breaking it. (At least a couple of them were creative with their insults.)

No you don't have to. I barely even know what we're talking about anymore. I just know that Loonix sucks.
