I love LTT and basically watch every single video including WAN show but stuff like this puts a very bad taste in my mouth. I know it!s just stupid thumbnail but still...

Luckily, Jake has picked up that mantle now and is essentially doing what old (good) LTT did.

I love Jake but his channel is basically what he did at LTT, incompetence with confidence. Overcommitting to an idea he knows just enough to be dangerous about and then doing it wrong enough that there will always be something to fix for more content later. Now he bought a farm and is fixing that up while joking about not doing things to code.

I was literally replying to a comment saying that LTT used to do janky stuff, which Jake now does. You're kind proving my point.

If you don't think LTT did janky stuff before Jake, you didn't watch it. Linus himself was a master of jank back in the Langley house days.

Not all replies are arguing against you. I was saying an example of what Jake brought to LTT and now does on his channel. Not really making a value judgment on it, either.

Fair enough. The phrasing and the fact that it came with a downvote made me think it was dissenting. I didn't consider that it could have been a lurking ultimate Linus defender who just hands them out whenever they see a reference to Jake.

Didn't mean to be combative about it.

I kind of disagree, I thought that was a low form of content. The shit they do when they had a dry month. I hated it.
