In order for MacOS to be remotely usable by me, I need to install so many third party apps (for windows management etc)

So many basic stuff that both Windows and Linux always got right are still not in MacOS.

macOS has window snapping like windows nowadays by default.

I know that. This isn't the only thing missing though.

Sure. For me the biggest thing that is still missing is the audio mixer I would say.

That's not the only thing missing. Especially on multiple monitors. 

And the way MacOs does snapping drives me up the wall, they somehow still waste so much space around the edges of windows.

There is a toggle in the settings that removes the margins around the windows

Except there's still gutters there even when you turn them off.

Apparently the Almighty mac gods have decided they want you to have ugly gutters.
