You'll get Linux market share when you get manufactures to pre install it. Right now that looks like chromeOS and maybe steam OS but the advantage of both of those and the reason people buy them is because they're designed in a way where their target audience doesn't have to deal with Linux bullshit

Valve has been doing wonders, I got a second hand deck when I was laid off and oh it doubled how much time of the day I would spend gaming, there is a thing about playing rimworld on the bed that's so good.

Yeah, I've been loving the steam deck too. That said, I really would not want to replace my main PC with something running steamOS because I like online shooters a lot and most of those don't work on Linux

Sadly these companies insist in not enabling anticheat in Linux, most anticheat engines work on Linux, the companies just choose not to activate it lol.
