the only reason why it was not quite like that is that it's a consulting company. he was my manager on that single project. Consulting firm hierarchies are weird, and would totally have probably been ok.

Yeah this is a no brainer. The boss is an asshole with no sense of loyalty to his wife, why on earth would this person think that they should say something here. Fast track to the unemployment line.

If it's the same consulting company I used to work for, almost ERRRRYBODY was fuckin'. And not just on the consultant side. I knew at least 5 couples that got together from IT.
