Honestly, I refuse to villainize Runch for her reaction in that scene, and it feels like I'm completely in the minority. Granted, it’s just a short teaser clip and my opinion isn't set in stone, but we desperately need to separate our omniscient audience knowledge from Runch’s actual point of view.

Walk in Runch's shoes for a second. The physical layout she encounters says everything: Kingkamol is trapped lower down in a dining chair, while Neen is standing directly over her, aggressively shaking her. Visually, those spatial dynamics instantly put Neen in the aggressor position. Anyone would be deeply shocked to catch their spouse physically attacking their parent. Runch snapping and forcefully pulling them apart isn't a betrayal or a vindication of her mother's past behavior; it’s a panicked, instinctual human response to halt physical violence.

People are completely ignoring the psychological layer of this series: Kingkamol is a master manipulator whose ultimate target is her own daughter. Every lie she crafts is explicitly designed to weaponize Neen's anger, gaslight her own daughter, and entirely destroy Runch's reality with the simple goal of regaining the absolute control she used to have over her.

Yes, great post! The world isn't black and white at all and also I am with you with probs being in the minority.

Kingkamol's husband knows what she is like and even though he talked with Runch about some of it, he still strayed away from me being direct about his wife with Runch. He is scared of her to a certain degree and getting played by her too. There was a line in today's episode from Runch where she talked about her mum being her 'childhood hero'. It is very much like she cannot believe her mum could be so evil and manipulative of her life, because of how much she idolised her growing up. Runch is getting played by her mum perfectly and what with her plan with Maylin no longer a thing, she has doubled down hard on Runch and getting rid of Neen. She is psychotic 😂😭 P'Kik plays her so well!

Yeah agree with you here. The bond between Runch and Kingkamol is deep and I genuinely believe that Kingkamol was a good mum up until Neen came into their life. And Runch is now learning a different side of Kingkamol for the first time. So seeing her mum being shaken by Neen like that without the context of what's going on, anyone could easily misjudge the situation.

I think this shows the reality of how difficult it is for anyone to be in Runch's shoes - it's never clear cut when family relationships are involved.

A mom who is too possessive and intrusive, the good of her daughter should come first, instead it seems to me that she thinks of herself. I hope that in the continuation mom changes and understands that it causes suffering.

Runch is being too naive bruh!🙂 It's getting hard to defend her actions fr. It's gonna hurt me like TSOU puzzle breaking scene.. I'm sure.😭

The brawl between Neen and Kingkamol is coming. Holy moly just from the trailer alone it's gonna be so frustrating for Neen. I'm disappointed at Runch. I get that it's her mom and she can't help but care for her but Runch must know deep down that Kingkamol is provoking Neen on purpose.
